Fxk ya literally watchn the 3rd roast now clickn round for when he mentioned u n reading all the comments how u gonna respond ..woooop wooop team nick love ya
In comedy, specially insult comedy/roast, you start with yourself and then go around. These guys think that calling people stupid/ugly,etc is funny, but it isn't. There's no element of surprise, nothing unexpected.
I am a fan of both of them and Nick is way funnier. He's quick, smart, can make references to other things... Def wrote a script for irrelevant news and he thought he was funny
But actually, Nick. Some of the comments made by the 'comedians' and the crowd (especially that one guy) were disgusting and I hope you know we definitely want you around just the way you are. 🖤
Hey, I know you're busy but if you have a spare five minutes to annoy Anton Levay's successors for trademarking your image and messing with the Netflix Sabrina production, I will leave you my biggest sheaf of wheat on the local stone altar.
The fact that Nick roasts himself better than they do, because he's so unapologetically self aware, makes their completely off the mark attempts seem that much more sad. 😂
It's also self-awareness I mean they're soooo unapologetically gay. A moment in one of Nick's vids, they did a gesture and they stopped looked at their hand and said "oh my God look at this wrist" (shakes arm to show how incredibly limp it is) "Look. At. That." (Flails hand and starts laughing) I had to pause the video because I was laughing so hard I was crying. My 🏳️🌈 self related *so hard* and admired the fact that it made it into the final edit.
I've laughed harder at this one video of Nick mostly roasting himself than all the roasts combined so it's like. If they just wrote jokes instead of insulting each other's appearances it could go somewhere
Imagine being in a crowd watching like 4 people huddle around a phone going "omg I can't believe he didn't like me" for like half an hour. And then having the audacity to call it a comedy show? Yikes.
The fact that the first thing they could have thought was "he's a stu- he's stupid" is way funnier than anything any good roaster could have said but not for the reasons that they want it to be funny lmfao. Dude straight out came fresh out of elementary school with that one 😭
He stammered because his toddler brain wanted to say "he's a stupid poopy head" but he caught himself. Probably a frequently encountered problem for him.
If I went to a "comedy show" and the "comedians" were huddled around a phone discussing things that we the audience can't see, I would be ever so pissed. Great job as always on the video. I hope more RU-vidrs give you material.
It can't possibly be that hard to set up a monitor so people can see what's going on. Or a projector. Like, the online interaction is so integral to what they're doing you'd think they'd want to capitalize on it!
Exactly! I would definitely leave. I can go find something else to do. Maybe hang out with my own friends, that are actually going to make me laugh, while we watch and joke about a video on a big screen? lol
Watching Nick gleefully run circles around the noodle gang and drop lines like "I got too close to hell and now everything tastes like death" and also talking about using Noodles voice to assert dominance over geese was so good I think I briefly experienced what it is like to not be cripplingly depressed. Nick makes me actually bust out laughing multiple times in every video and I can't remember the last time I even watched a Def Noodle video. I mean even one of the comedians was like "why aren't you here also having a bad time" like bruh, that was the only funny thing any of them said and it was just admitting the show was bad. NICK I'm stealing that comment about her wearing that perfume to cover a yeast infection, and I won't apologize for it.
“I think I briefly experienced what it’s like to not be cripplingly depressed” lol right there with you, friend. I need Nick induced serotonin in a pill.
I love the brutal roast of donating to a charity for comedians to give the guy roasting you better clothes to wear. Omg I can’t believe they went after you so unprepared
I just can’t get over how fragile this guy is. Honey, we can see you obsessing about anyone that gives you even the slightest bit of criticism. Your insecurities are incredibly transparent. And coming after Nick? Please 💅🏻 Also something about “noodle crew” is making me laugh more than it should. Dennis and his noodles 😂
did you realize how quick he was to try to get some validation from his crew? hey guys someone said something mean to me so instead of handling it myself lemme tell yall to make fun him for me.
it's pretty incredible/sad to watch cause if he would have just ACTUALLY listened to even just a couple mins of nick's video and actually applied himself, he could've come back for a 3rd show and he'd be miles ahead of where he just was and it could've potentially shown everyone up you know...instead he turned into a 5 year old
On one hand, I don't want you to be mocked on stage while you aren't there to react/laugh along (even though you said it's okay, it's just cringe to behold) On the other hand, this was absolute gold... and the attention you are bringing to their sad little show should be considered a charitable act
Yeah, I was really bothered by that. Of course, Nick comparing it to Wicked had me laughing again, but still, it's scary for a crowd to chant violent sh!t.
Wow. Can you imagine paying for a show and them just looking at their phone and making non descriptive bad jokes about what they can see on the phone. This is hilarious. You've made it dude
I'm not surprised Dennis is so salty towards Nick. Dennis wanted so badly to parlay his drama-based content into a career in comedy and to cultivate a community where he was beloved. Instead, he lost much of his following and credibility while exposing just how unfunny he really is. Meanwhile, Nick took the success of his internet drama propelled hits and transitioned it into a successful series where his clever and self-aware sense of humor shines brightly to an audience that deeply respects his craft and ability to be unapologetically himself.
I was watching this live on Jessi Smiles' channel, and I almost *SCREAMED* when I heard your name, it was the most entertaining part of the entire podcast. Not them trying to insult ✨you✨, but the sheer mention of your name was more exciting than the rest of the "roast".
The guy who eagerly grabbed the mic and was like "YOU THINK ONE DAY HE'LL HAVE HIS OWN THOUGHT??!!11" and then it's literally just *crickets* except for one awkward laugh in the background is sending me. Some people just shouldn't be comedians.
he is the personification of cringe. he was actually a bit likable when he was covering drama a year or two ago but he lacks so much self awareness now. reminds me of my toxic ex.
@@Trixy98 yuuup. he said it was all satire and that he was making fun of tea channels and the people that enjoy that content. it really is sad that his fake persona is times better than whatever he’s doing now.
I feel you, it was the pandemic we were all going through a tough time doing foolish things, I had subbed to def and also tried to cut my own bangs in 2020. Dark times indeed.
Ppl were talking about him and I went and looked at his YT. I thght, so... he's a knock off Keemstar but it's satire even though he's jealous of Keem but also a cat in the tree? Pick a lane. That isn't an act it's a hate crime.
I feel like that comedy club is just full of hate crimes waiting to happen. Glad you're taking it all in stride Nick and honestly the funniest part about the roast battles has been your commentary videos on them.
Not a hate crime if your comedy troupe contains a gay man and a woman that apparently think a basic gay man wearing make up looks like an incel redneck before they speak.
On a serious note Nick: you have made me laugh more than ANYONE on RU-vid ever has. I know that on my worst days I can also count on you & your out of pocket humor. Thank you for all the laughs throughout the years, Dennis is delusional if he thought this was funny
I know this is an older comment, but I just found his channel and same here! It's such a relief to see someone speaking honestly about how terrible things are but to do so in a way that makes me laugh again.
Imagine being as wack as Dennis, having completed not one successful roast of anyone, and then trying to come for Nick. Girl, sit down. You’re about to really get your feelings hurt. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@NickDiRamioTV Honestly, I know you're unbothered and that's great but I'd be pissed at the lack of effort if it was me. Like, if you're gonna come for someone, at least be funny.
Genuinely the best thing that could've happened. They really thought you were just someone who likes to talk smack but will back down once they start coming for you. They didn't realise their roasts are literally just cute little comments that 12 year olds would deliver even better 🥺
@@ontxtteredwxngs *Some. It’s the ones that think they’re cool that aren’t vicious(see: “I know I’m not, but what are you?” and “Who asked?” kids). And all of them are only half as mean as a 6-year-old.
These people don't want help(like valid criticism) they don't want to get better at what they do cause they believe they are already the best. They just want to be praised and adored for minimum effort on their part. Hence them, instead of watching Nick's videos and taking notes, attacking Nick with d*ath threats, and homophobic and ableist insults.
i knowww like even if they were funny it’d still be embarrassing cause the audience doesn’t know nick, it’s not like roasting celebrities and stuff. I literally can’t think of any other “comedian” that would be stupid enough to do this 😭
@@glowrillaz probably why Random Audience Member 4 yelled, "kill him." He doesn't know Nick. He doesn't care about Nick. And now he's regretting paying for a ticket. Also calling him Frankie Grande? Does this guy even own a mirror?
I feel bad for the comics, this isn’t what they signed up for. Dennis just shoved a phone in their face and was like “ grunt, roast, grunt grunt”. He had a stick up his @ss over Nick, Jessie n Lily and, as always, wanted his friends to do the dirty work. I don’t hold it against them, it makes me actually angry w him for exploiting them like that.
I love how the whole vibe is this little uncomfortable looking group standing around on a stage looking at somebody's phone while the whole audience is like "??hello?? Can we be a part of this too? Would you like to share it with the rest of the class, maybe...? No? Okay. It doesn't seem that funny anyways 😕" like the audience is not the receiver of their comedy, they are just some rude strangers staring at somebody having a private conversation in a coffee shop
Yeah, it felt like he was doing it more for the chat/people at home than the actual audience, I think he saw it as innovative to bring a live chat into a comedy roast but being hyper-fixated on people who aren't even there was very strange.
It's super funny that your biggest complaint was them going for low fruit badly and not being prepared and he responded by... having them be unprepared and having to go for low-hanging fruit.
Apart from how gross their comments were, admittedly I was pretty excited to hear Dennis had brought you up. Obviously because you'd attract some of his disillusioned former audience, but also how effing delightful your reaction was bound to be. I mean, what did he think this was gonna do??? But otherwise, I'm pretty sick of him going after queer people in these roasts. There are PLENTY more people that have made videos on him, so why focus on the queer voices, hmmmm? Anyway, great vid and a nice move to donate to that charity! Love ya!
i just cant get over the fact that one of "comedians" said "what are you doing? you could be here, having a bad time time like the rest of us." lolololololololo wtf
I want to be a fly on the wall during the planning of the roast battles. “How do we get back at the haters? Oh, I know! We can derail the show, pull up their channel on the projecter that never works and then _promote their platform_ make fun of them in a (pressumably unscripted) manner! Edit: No, this is worse. imagine paying money to watch a bunch of guys look at some random person’s channel on the latest iPhone
People actually paid money to go watch that? That's the most depressing thing I've ever heard; I had no idea that bad taste was so common, and I hope they get some help.
"can't believe Frankie grande just called me Frankie grande that's some gay on gay crime" I fucking lost it 😂😭😂😭😂 Nick is that girl! Don't y'all ever forget it 😘
the fact that the first thing he had to say was that you're "stupid and uneducated" has me on the fucking floor omg. He actually thought that was a roast and that he didn't look like a 10-year-old screaming the first words that came to his baby brain omg LOL.
Jessi said it best by pointing out def said his commentary stuff wasn't real but her SA was part of that commentary last year with the GH stuff. Then Def gets people to roast her and the first thing they say is about "getting charged" with something. Its frustrating for Jessi and other SA survivors honestly
That's why Dennis is completely out of his element roast-battling. A real roast requires a bit of research on the target first to properly dig at them in funny ways. Def randomly dangling a photo of Jessi to the comedians and them making shot-in-the-dark jokes about how they'd get charged with crimes against her and how dry her pussy would be to them was an unfortunate direction that could've been completely avoided.
Thank you for this comment. As a survivor myself I can only imagine how damaging it must be for Jessie to hear commentts like that aimed at her. She's been through enough already fr.
Def Noodles can't even admit how much he genuinely loved covering youtube and pop culture drama. I mean it was a 24/7 hustle and you need the PASSION for the drama to keep up with it the way he did! And I love the drama too, but I can admit it!
Your level of maturity, and comedic prowess are both leaps and bounds above the noodles crew. You don't even need to do anything to make them look like their floundering trying to "diss" you, they did that on their own. ❤
Should Nick have the mic? Should Nick have the mic? Should Nick have the mic? Should Nick have the mic? Should Nick have the mic? Nick, why do you think you should have the mic?
Nick knows if he would've said "attack", we wouldve attacked, and ended that boys *whole career.* However, Nick being the gracious Queen that he is, thanked us and told us to 'stand down' because egg noodles "roast" was actually _good_ for business. Mama knows we got his back though.💖
*virtual hugs to you nick* Even if they were trying to "roast" you, the things they said about you were ughhhhh hateful ableist eww We love you the way you are and thank you for all the fun laughs and sunshine you bring with your presence 🤝🤝🤝 your vids tidied me through the pandemic and i can't express how thankful i am for that 😭😭🤝🤝
Lmao such a liar. “he made like 6 videos about us”. He knows *exactly* how many videos you’ve done because he’s watched every single one and read all the comments. He’s one of those people who thinks that this kind of behavior is clapping back when it just shows how pathetic he is for even noticing to begin with. Nick however, always shows what a class act he is between his donation to the charity, acknowledging that clothes without holes are not always something people have the luxury of having and finally, telling all of them ‘nice try’ with actual money given to them.
12:35 The "nobody likes you" dig perfectly sums up how original, insightful and mature this roast it. They could attack any middle schooler in the midst of hormonal hell and they wouldn't be bothered.
I'm sure it really hit home too, cuz nobody likes Nick DiRamio... Just the hundreds of thousands of subscribers plus his family and friends, but nobody else 😢 he's practically an island of loneliness!
If it isn't Rick, my favourite villain from the Noodleverse. It's kinda sad how Lord Noodle and his side-pasta try to scramble for the most elementary school level things to make fun of you, while they lack any stage presence and would benefit greatly from having just a fraction of your charisma. You handled it beautifully and I think it's smart to A) not give him any more attention and B) announce it. If he comes after you again after this, he'll only look desperate. Which he is. Desperate for Nick's attention, like all of us. I look forward to your next video!
My favorite part of Noodles calling Nick "Rick" was that to me it really genuinely sounded like he just read Nick's name wrong and didn't realize his mostly for a minute lmao
It’s good to know that they’re not only unfunny but they’re also bullies. They didn’t even have that same energy for a Comedian who showed up to be roasted, salvo pancakes !!
If I put in the time and effort to go to a comedy club and then one of the comedians pulled up someone else's RU-vid video, I'd riot. Like, yeah Dennis. Live audiences are notoriously hungry for digital content.
Especially digital content that the audience can't see at all and can barely hear while all the people on stage are hunched over a tiny phone screen trying to get a look. These "comedians" are woefully unprepared at the best of times and then Super Noodle throws this at them.
That was a roast? NO creativity. Saying ''kill him'' is completely unacceptable and morally wrong. I know you are very confident and self assured. That was pure bullying in MY opinion. They were SO lucky to have you in the chat. You're so delightful and insightful. Your whit is everything.
The true audacity to attempt a roast of Nick… some of the best, roastiest humor I’ve seen on RU-vid in the last year has consistently come from Nick DiRamio.
Imagine asking your friends to come for Nick just because you can’t handle someone actually funny calling you out 😂 And for some reason you’re reading the live comments on the show you’re supposed to be currently hosting.
19:15 The precise moment Elliott realised his gaydar is in desperate need of recalibration. Good thing he had his arm draped around his colleague because there's no way they would have been able to fit a fainting chair on that stage.
I find it strange that after the whole Salvo debacle Def Noodles’ answer to making the show better was to recreate a high school bullying scenario onstage for other creators. Not to mention you’re the only commentator that gave him any grace or understanding and talked about the roast itself instead of Def and his weird issues.
The way that Nick’s video has 35k views in 5 HOURS while the actual video of the roast only has 11k after a week 💀 it’s also the first video that pops up when you search def noodles the L’s just keep coming
Love how he shows the audience a 3x4in photo so they all know who they’re roasting. I was excited to hear a Nick roast, glad you provided it Nick cause the clowns on stage were as funny as Carrot top’s props.
this is beautiful. i love that with his attempt to roast you he just gives you a bunch of attention and more ways to roast him and his comedy goons. 10/10 content, tear them apart
Nick, obvs this was pathetic and sad on their part but I still feel the need to mention how much I value your work as a fan. Over the past couple years, I have replayed your videos all throughout an excruciatingly stressful move (introducing you to my partner during that time as well, because you made us both laugh while we struggled), during countless panic attacks and Big Sad episodes, in the aftermath of a fire, a car wreck, and MOST of all, when I need videos to watch when I am doing something that makes me happy. You mean a lot to us and I hope you love making videos for us half as much as we love watching them. 💚 Love to you and Toast!
nick is a way better comedian. and what makes that sting even more is he doesnt even try. or doesn't claim that's his life goal. nick does comedy without even trying or having a comedy club
