Prepare to be captivated as we dive deep into an incredible interview with the esteemed Dr. Sabrina Solt. In this eye-opening discussion, we explore her remarkable journey into the world of carnivore, guided by none other than her husband, Zac. But that's just the beginning of the story.
Picture this: It's 2017, and Sabrina, pregnant with her first child, had yet to embark on the carnivore path. That all changed when she stumbled upon an intriguing conversation between Paul Saladino and Dave Asprey. The seed of curiosity took root, but it was watching Anthony Chaffee that truly sealed the deal.
Fast forward to the present, and Sabrina is a changed woman. Her newfound carnivore lifestyle has unleashed a cascade of transformative effects. Her mood has soared, energy levels have skyrocketed, and even her bathroom experiences have become a thing of wonder. Decades of gut issues have vanished, and her long-standing battle with IBS seems to have found a lasting remedy. As if that weren't enough, her skin issues have disappeared, anxiety is a thing of the past, and even the persistent upper back and neck pain has bid her farewell.
But the transformation doesn't end there. Sabrina's compelling story has had a ripple effect on her colleagues. As she witnesses their conversion, she realizes the power of mirror neurons-how we, as a species, can be inspired by witnessing others thrive.
Delve into this captivating interview as we unravel the mysteries of Sabrina's journey. Discover how being pregnant impacted her dietary approach and the considerations she navigated along the way. And, in a surprising twist, learn about her temporary struggle with meat aversion and the unexpected cravings she experienced-suddenly yearning for the likes of fish, such as delectable salmon and mouthwatering yellowtail. Of course, morning sickness had a role to play as well, presenting its own unique challenges.
Join us on this extraordinary voyage as Dr. Sabrina Solt unveils her personal odyssey, sharing invaluable insights and inspiring revelations. This is a tale of transformation, resilience, and the profound impact a carnivore lifestyle can have on one's well-being. Get ready to be enlightened, motivated, and perhaps even persuaded to embrace a new path of vibrant health.

Really wish you guys had zoomed in a bit more on how a healthy, fit person experienced the changes of carnivore and the challenges she had as a relatively healthy fit person. I do appreciate that this wasnt all about weight loss but almost every carnivore video is about weight loss and reversing years of packaged food challenges-which does not resonate with those who never made those food choices. It is rare to get stories that arent focused on weight. I have a few former students (math teacher) who have struggled with anorexia for years and am encouraging them to consider carnivore but the moment they look stuff up, they see exactly what triggers them (overweight images). Would love some content around “performance achievement” or the nitty gritty of reducing anxiety. She mentioned it, but didnt expand on it (would have appreciated that).

This was very interesting. I had my babies in 2002 and 2004. There was less information available at the time. I was omnivorous. I have never been much of a vege eater but thought I had to include them because of nutrition. I've never been on low fat. When I was pregnant, I developed an aversion to fried chicken and coffee. I took a multivitamin and ate lots of spaghetti. I'm not a smoker or drinker so that was never a problem. I don't have much of a sweet tooth but I have been addicted to some carbs. I have decided to try the carnivore diet after Christmas. I have heard many benefits from people trying the carnivore diet.

@@CoachStephen Thanks. I actually looked into other diets in the past including raw vegan which does seem a bit extreme. There are people touting the health benefits of raw vegan. The problem is I enjoy eating meat. I have never particularly liked salads. It also doesn't feel right given the way humans evolved. I'm hoping to see some changes on the carnivore diet.

With regard to dairy, maybe it's the casein rather than the lactose. Maybe try A2 dairy which is more commonly available these days. My understanding is that many people who get inflamed when they eat A1 BETA-casein (from Holstein cows, et al.) do not get noticably inflamed when eating the A2 BETA-casein.

How do you even know the difference when buying ?
@charliepiston3169
@charliepiston3169 6 месяцев назад
Dairies that produce A2 milk will state it on there products. Goat and sheep dairy products are almost always A2 casein. There is a trend toward shifting dairy herds over to A2 milk production over time which will make finding these products easier. @@tristantries9211

Such great insights on kids and carnivore, which I rarely hear discussed. I work in schools and I have such a problem seeing teachers throwing candy at kids for rewards. It also breaks my heart to see how many sweets the special ed students have in their bag lunches. They would probably do so much better with great nutrition. So sad to think about what I fed my own kids when they were young.

I used to hate it when the teachers uses sweet to reward my kids at school. Most school lunches were chrap fast food to make profit, its disgusting. Truly they don't care.

Getting slowly into all this new research makes me wish I could go back and redo all my kids food stuff. though life would have had to been different as breast feeding wasn't a choice. And none of my kids had weight issues either but as adults, I feel bad that my everything in moderation is what they still follow. But for all those new parents, learning how to make better choices is soooo good to see. I'm hoping that as I learn more I can just be an example.

Humans are obligate carnivores. We lost the hind gut or caecum when we climbed down from the trees. This means we are incapable of converting carbs to fatty acids which mean that we directly absorb glucose which is bad for us but the sugar rush is addictive. Stay away from carbs.

Im contemplating starting either lowcarb or carnivore. Im brand new and in a discovery mode. Literally just got back from the general Dr and she wants me to start on a higher blood pressure med, and a statin for lowering my LDL level. I have rashes on my arms and chest, sleep disorder and brain fog. I had stints in my heart 5 yrs ago, and I eat a "typical" American diet, im 45# overweight, rolling onto 60yo, and she never mentioned anything about my diet or complete lack of exercise. Thanks for the video, guys. Helpful information for sure. My thoughts are that if one was asked to eat sugar, flour, seed oils, funky whatever things in foods, then I would hope my doctor would say "please don't do that". But no comment about anything but these exrra drugs are completely necessary for the rest of your life because you've had stints in the heart. Hmmm.
