Remember when that new character got released and he played her and lost constantly in mirror matches, and admitted it was just because he is bad? Memory hole.
Just like LTG. Although at least DSP doesn't whine about mirror matches specifically, though most of the time I don't believe his 'moves don't come out' or 'lag' excuses.
And no drive reversals or anti airs. And he was a "pro" back in the day. Max dood barely plays competitively and still has fundamentals of : decent neutral, protecting the skies, zoning, and punishing enemy mistakes.

I think that he might've made it through one session. If I'm not mistaken, the documentary was still on and he was probably trying to clean up his image somewhat.

Reminder - This is a 42 Year Old Man, who made it his NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION to be less toxic in SF6, who has already had to quit the game TWICE becase he cant control how upset it makes him. Can't wait for the "The game is trash, and I kept playing it which takes time away from my family" pity stream when he announces hes quitting, only to return in 2 months and start the cycle all over again.
It's even more sad when he criticizes and throws insults at LTG for plugging...before threatening to do the same (out loud for everyone to hear). You'd think the guy would mature and learn to take Ls, but I suspect that, 20 years from now, Phil will be slamming his walking cane on stream while losing in Street Fighter 8.

Its funny cause theres tons of videos out there of him acting the exact same with fighting games offline. He just blames the controller or the port or the arcade cabinet.

It's funny af in general he's whining about a winning matchup, and acts like this game is so imbalanced. When Gief in Super Turbo would lose to a lot of characters hard because he had no real means around fireballs. That game had actual bad matchups, we're looking at 8-2s. Modern fighting games are balanced enough that even low tiers at least have some chance.

Nono it's because its an exaggerated character where he hams it up for the camera, but also he's the most honest streamer who has always just been himself, unlike those muppets with dyed hair, and he's still the same guy he always was but also he's changed and matured a lot.

Damn what a Chill stream he had. I loved that Karma part with the JP and the part where he says the Superior Zangief won and he just gets stomped by a diamond 3 zangief a round later.
He was so full of himself this stream too when he got hundreds of points (like halfway through Diamond 5 in one set) after he beat a 1300MR Master Gief 2-0 in a mirror. Then immediately after he runs into another Gief mirror, and gets trashed and cries an absolute river about it because he got such an ego boost earlier only to come crashing down hard.
Phil is such an obvious problem-gambler, you can see from his reactions and phrases to losing a streak. Also... the strange obsession with people rimming him continues.

Each level of super has a different button input, so when he says the game gave him the wrong super, hes saying he did one input and the game randomly decided to give him a completely different move. It can't just be that he's using the wrong input, its because the game has sentience and hates him. Also feel sorry for that poor arcade stick. Domestic abuse on a controller

its weird, I don't know much about SF6 but the moves that Zangeif used at 14:10 are moves Ive never seen DSP use, and the Geif played pretty aggressively too, maybe Phil isn't the pro Zangeif player he pretends to be, and maybe Cammy shouldn't be an automatic loss for him...
As someone not so familiar with street fighter apart from watching phil, it is always interesting to see phil play a mirror match. It always goes the way you described, "I didn't know that character could do that." "So much faster and more aggressive."
If Fill is so skilled, why can't he just counteract these supposed button mashing pattern players? If these players are terrible and scrubs, but are beating him, what does that make him?
Please we need to push him to add a input monitor on screen while he plays Street Fighter. Please trick him into it by saying we want to learn from him. I want to see what he actually inputs when he claims the game drops the input.
@@TheKalimanMX well a input monitor is absolute proof he can't wiggle out of because it shows the inputs without the "online lag". He will definitely claim it's not what he input but it becomes way less believable.
