@@Nirvash24 I really enjoy mine. I commute to work 35 miles each way every day mostly highway. It's a good bike has a decent amount of power. I got this because my wife would have been pissed if she saw the size of the seat on the 959. That and they only had 1 SuperSport and no 959s at my dealer in September
I just bought a 2017 939 with 2159km on it. and it looks like new off the show room floor, I road it one time and everything was great. then around 10 days later I go to ride it again and it seems like the battery is totally dead. I am wondering if I parked it with the key in the wrong position. because the first day with the bike I noticed that if the key was in a certain locked position the tail light was on. and I am wondering if I parked it that way by mistake. it seems really stupid that Ducati would have a handle bar lock position that could do that to you. I'm wondering why that is, what is that key position for ? and now I find out I need to take my fairing off to deal with the battery, what a bummer. and even though I am totally able to do the job, its the last thing I wanted to do on my new bike. I surreally don't want to mess my beautiful fairing up. I know the battery was replaced in 2022 by the original owner. so I am hoping it is still going to be good after I charge it. it would be really screwed if I put the bike back together again and a few days later I have it go dead again. the only plus side is I am going to instal a gps that connects to the battery at the same time. and that will make the job more worth while. when I bought the gps I thought I was just going to pop the seat open and instal it in two minutes. I have never owned a bike before where just getting to the battery is a major job. welcome to Ducati.
Yeah it's not too bad but still a pain to get to. I used to leave my key in it all the time and never had an issue, you must have had it in an accessory mode or something.
Your best bet is to go to amsducati.com/ducati-oem/ that has an online parts book for the Ducati SuperSport. Just search for fusebox and then you will see the diagram and parts numbers
William Fusco there is a port under the seat that you can hook a tender up too. You'll need to go on Amazon and get the adapter. In the manual it talks about it
William Fusco idk if it's called the dda is on page 268 Charging and maintenance of the battery during winter storage Your motorcycle is equipped with a connector (1), located under the seat, to which you can connect a special battery charger (2) (Battery maintainer kit part no. 69924601A - various countries; Battery maintainer kit part no. 69924601AX - for Japan, China and Australia only) available from our sales network.
@@ThePrybra07 can I charge the battery without taking off the fairing, and I bought a two wire gps that connects to the battery. can I connect that somewhere under the seat instead of directly to the battery ?
