Got my SuperSport S back from the dealer where they did the mirror recall and the gear shift lever recall. I can't say there is much difference in the vibration maybe a little better.
I remember that when I bought mine here in Czech Republic and gave it back on the first service I mentioned that the left mirror is shaking a lot. It was in late 2017 and from that time both mirrors shake the same but I saw big difference.
Hello, I also have a Supersport and I have had the same problems, mirrors that vibrate a lot, (I have changed the two in warranty) and in the heat you have to take into account that this motorcycle is very noticeable the heat that rises from the engine . I put under the seat an anti-heat tape that seems to take something away, but still warm. A greeting.
the stem is now made of metal instead of plastic. that's the only diff i see. vibration under 5000rpm is much less. faster than that and its vibrating again but less than before. still distorted
i understand that the vibrations still exist even after the mirrors were replaced due to the recall? Am curious. Having the same issues with a 2017 model that seems out of scope of the recall.. thanks!
Yes they still vibrate pretty bad. You can see cars behind you but not specific details. At night it's just a blur of light you have to pull the clutch in and let the tmp settle to see anything
Yes it works great I highway ride to work 40 miles each way and it's never come loose. I don't even use the rubber strap. With were it holds my phone it's pretty safe from rain too
I just bought 2017 used and noticed the same problem. I will take it to the dealer to check on that. Also, is there any other recalls on the Ducati SuperSport? I also noticed the heat is there any solution for the heat. Thaaaaanx
There is a recall for them to check the gear shift lever, re route the fuel lines, and install a heat shield on the rear shock. I got some gold heat reflective foil tape on Amazon and lined the bottom of the seat.
Hello men also I have this bike with new recall ones but still the same vibration could you solve the issue with a different ones or any solution from Ducati? I think I have to do a legal complain because of this
