I really appreciate your little details (and the fact that you posted this to begin with), thanks! I did find a shortcut, throwing this out there in case others need it: The two screws holding the rubber camera shield are accessible through the top of the vacuum after you pop off the little top cover at 1:41. You will see two very small (3mm or so) rubber covers near the bumper. Pop those rubber covers off and the two screws holding the rubber camera shield can be unscrewed and then the front bumper removed fully.

Interestingly enough you made this video just in time my main brush motor on my t8 aivi just went out and i ordered a replacement from amazon. Im here in the US and man you went so fast it looked easy im scared to do this one my self

Hi, The main brush is not working on my T9, I have taken out the main brush motor and cleaned off the dust, it is working on a 5v and 12v source, all gears are turning and the brush turns easily by hand when in the T9 and all assembled. what else could cause the motor to stop working?

How to fix broken clips for side brush for T8 aivi? I dont want to change the whole side brush motor coz its impractical. Just need the clip replacement and where can i purchase it?

What's the error message?? Because if there's something wrong it gives voice msg n in app as well

I have no error message on the app, the robot works very well but the two side brushes do not work

I turned the Deebot T8+ on and checked to see if the main brush is spinning. It is spinning. The brush in it is also new… but after 5-10 minutes it gives me a main brush tangled error but there is not anything wrong with the brush. 😭 please help

Check the main brush from both sides if all ok then main brush motor assembly need to replace... motor is jammed

I had an issue with my T8 AIVI main brush not spinning. I replaced the main brush motor and that didn't fix it. I then replaced the main board with a compatible generic board from amazon. On examination, the boards are identical. The main brush motor now spins but the robot speaks chinese and absolutely will not connect to 2.4ghz network. I followed all the directions to the letter and get (406,10025) error. The strange thing is that I can see the mac address connected of the robot in my router and it has an ip. The app does not think it is connected though. I have tried factory reset many times and turning off the cell signal on phone. I even tried using the deebot 2017 app though my robot is not listed and should work with ecovacs home. My guess is that its a region compatibility issue though since I can't connect to it I can't change it. Has anyone who has purchased a mobo and swapped it out thenselves run into this issue? I noticed there is a usb port and serial port on the motherboard which look like they could be used for communication. Suggestions? You inspired me to swap the motherboard and main brush motor myself just need to fix this last step!

Normally because of motherboard short circuit it happened.... motherboard U purchased is different reign that's why can't connect

My Ozmo Pro stopped oscillating after a few months. I purchased a new Ozmo Pro to replace it, but the new one also stopped oscillating after a few weeks, just like the first one. Now, I've given up.
