As someone who also hated hated hated summer, it is so worth it to do some real, intensive summer focused shopping. Colorful basics, natural (and semi-synthetic) materials, breezy cuts, all that jazz. I made myself do that the year I overhauled my closet and I legit had the most pleasant summer just because I wasn't suffering. I still prefer every other season but at least summer ain't a nightmare anymore. Anyways! This capsule turned out so cute! Hope you have a fun trip!

Subscriber from Lisbon here. When you will be in Lisbon, i recommend to visit Humana. It is a net of second hand shops. They have a lot of good stuff, and do 2-3 euro sales every 2 weeks. Also it can be quite chill and windy at night. Enjoy your trip

Quick Lisbon recommendation (from a local) - we have a chain of charity shops called Humana (4 of which sell only vintage) that I think you would really enjoy. They run huge sales every two months or so, bringing prices progressively down to just 1 euro. My favourite is the Humana vintage shop in Graça (near the viewing points with the best views in LX). Enjoy your holiday!

Notjustbikes is the absolute GOAT in urban planning videos. I loooove their stuff. Life Where I’m from also has some great videos, they’re not urban planning and cater towards Japan but the content design, editing and photography is impeccable. He recently released a video on how Okinawa is car dependent. Both his and Nitjustbikes videos really showcase how Metropolitan Japan is very different (and a lot of East Asia tbh) from Western societies and what we can learn from them in creating more connected communities. I would recommend only bringing two pairs of cute sandals, 1 pair of cheap flip flops you can use for showers and beaches and wearing your heaviest shoes on the plane. Either boots or your trainers. Even though Europe is going through a heatwave I’d recommend bringing 1 light weight jacket cause Europe is just so unpredictable. You could also use a button down shirt as a jacket and if it’s too hot, you can use the shirt was an actual top by tying into into different styles.

Omgg it's so hot in italy rn, especially if u r going to rome or to the south in general, whereas if u go to the north it might be suuper rainy. Usually it's not like this lol but yk, climate change. The only constant is humidity, literally devastating. Have a nice tripp

Heyy, I actually like the low waisted skirt and white heels combo! It elongates your torso and the white heels do not block your legs :) it's pretty hot this summer in Europe so keep yourself hydrated by drinking lots of water ❤ loves xx

Try the ravioli ai funghi and al funghi trufato at valdo gatti in lisboa, have a drink at musa da bica, croissant from marquise and pasteis de nata from manteigaria 😋 I found two really nice bulky silk blouses in a thrift shop in Bologna. Light to carry around, beach cover up and helpful if you want to enter the churches :)

Love this video! This is up my alley, I'm more neutral but I'm a neutral maximalist lol so I NEED these tips. I'm doing a 3-week in SEA with only carry on. Also, there's a reason why in Europe we can easily spot Americans. They'll be walking through the city looking like they're hiking the mountains or some shit, its hilarious. As if Europeans don't wear heels on those cobbled stones lol. We will walk 20k steps on cobbled stones with the CUTEST shoes and outfit. Tell those TikTok advisers to grow some ankle strength. I walked 4 hours of a mountanous desert in Jordan in a maxi red halter neck dress + Veja trainers lol.
