What’s interesting to me is that while each of our core four are played by two actors, Alex is actually played by three, there’s pre-game teen Alex, in game Nick Jonas Alex, and post-game slightly altered timeline adult Colin Hanks Alex which gives the character a lot of nuance because each version of him brings something different to the role.

Can we just appreciate how good this movie actually is for a sequel, they didn´t do harm to the original movie and the movie itself was original and funny. I personally liked it even more than the original and Jumanji the next level, though it might be because i´ve seen the original a bit too often.

Jumanji: welcome to the jungle is probably the most unbalanced game ever, like one character has NO weakness, then another has many weaknesses that make it horrible to play as that character, and THEN it has a character that has a weakness that everyone has... so you need a weakness to venom in order to die from it, and final one, it has a character who’s weakness is mosquitoes... in a jungle... bit unfair

I always just figured that the reason he can ride up the mountain on the motorcycle in the end is because climbing is still one of his abilities. But while we're talking about sins, one of the things that always irritated me about this movie is that Spencer claims to be an obsessive hardcore gamer, yet when we see him first playing Street Fighter, he's saying all of his input commands out loud and keeps having to constantly look down at the controller. No gamer anywhere EVER does either of those things.

Actually, you do have to remove the staples. The sorting and processing machines don't separate the metal from the paper, so if the machine gets clogged up, the batch being processed, especially if using Shred-It, can be linked back to the company that sent it and they will charge you a fee. It's an actual, stupid little task.

The thing with the teachers keeping records is actually true, they do that to catch cheating over the year and upperclassmen helping underclassmen, also Spencer started looking at his hands and freaking out before anything was happening to him, so theres a sin there

When he mentioned the part about getting past the guards, I instantly imagined snake just crawling behind one of them, snapping third neck and dragging his body into a bush, and the other guard hearing nothing and not even noticing his partner being gone

Actually I thought the peeing scene was the funniest scene in the whole movie, and if laughter is anything to judge by, so did everyone in the theater.

Also, the scene at the end when Ruby Roundhouse steps on the snakes and respawns up above with the jewel, that should not have worked since in most video games, when you die, you lose all of your items.

Jack black was pure gold. I could deal with the actress that played Martha, her mannerisms were at least accurate. Even The Rock I could handle, even if he didn't really portray the character that well. But Kevin Hart just pissed me off. He literally just played himself, the same character that he's played movie after movie after movie. He seemed nothing like Fridge whatsoever.

They might have the personality and knowledge of their IRL selves but why would they keep their original physical capabilities like Fridge being a strong guy whose a fast runner when he transforms from the teenage boy to Kevin Hart.

I just want a movie about people going inside a video game to get video games right. Funny glitches, lag, untextured spots. But also badass action, and story. Someone falls a bit, or tries to jump over something, and ends up in that awkward glitch where you just float in the air above it, unable to get out. You bump an NPC and they go inside a wall. Someone starts rubber-banding all over the place from random lag-spike, or just starts seeing everything like a flipbook. And then actually get game logic right. NPC reactions, game designs, etc.

My biggest and main issue with this movie is that in the first Jumanji, there were only 4 game pieces, meaning only 4 people could play. So why the hell, when the game upgraded, did it add a 5th player into its roster?

5:33 you get one sin for assuming that a board game that transformed into a video game has programmers.

I just have to say the two concepts never changed. Allen was stuck in Jumanji by playing the board game, to get out of the Jungle others had to finish the game. It's now a video game you're stuck in, but finish the game and you get out. Also the reason Allen was trapped is because no one was playing for so long... just like the new kid, without other people playing you can't do everything in the game to compete it.

What if the French people on the beach were tourists? I mean. People are allowed to visit other countries right? And people do enjoy going to beaches on vacation.

10:42 - XD "Bethany" tossing her hair. That's the kind of hilarious, in-character little details that not only make you laugh when you catch them, but also help you immerse into the 'verse. It's a subtle in-the-background thing, but it's great. Like Elrond's expression when he, for lack of a better term, "gives away" Arwen to Aragorn in RotK; it's not what your main focus is on, but it's a nice touch, going the extra mile.
