HP is all well and good but it’s the driver and supporting mods that make the difference. I would rather have a comfy lightweight 450hp car with traction and balance, Great for straight line …..but actual driving? Nah I do love how you keep saying “we “ though.

He did not, the paint was just flaking away. It was hard to watch

this event was 2 weeks ago if i recall. Hes just being dramatic releasing it in this fashion. Car went and had issues

@@ashishpatel350 so has project binky and other projects on RU-vid, but you actually learn something and watch something happen, plus his building his own car. Paying someone to build your own car is of course another option but there’s not a lot to watch is there, Keeps all the teenagers happy though that think supras all have 1000hp and that’s the peak of performance,

Garrett uses two different plants to keep up with demand. Said they were the same just different finish.

Not much these clowns have done was. This is a very iffy build done in a rush and with every expense spared. I just hope he doesn't get hurt in it if they missed somethign important.

I have 4 companies and I travel a lot. Haven't found an editor i've trusted to just have at it.

A TT setup made for low end torque has different size turbos, that’s the point. A smaller one for low end torque, and a bigger one for high end HP. The difference in size of the turbine wheel is what your visibly noticing, and that’s normal. It’s the exhaust compressor wheel that’s supposed to be the same size or similar in size, and that’s not very visibly noticeable.

The turbos are the same, it's the turbine housings that looked different, however, Garrett was using different manufacturers to keep up with demand which is why the housings look different. They are the same so that's likely not the issue. I am going boost by gear, so the 1200+ isn't going to be on tap until 4-5-6 anyway. It's just a chassis all the parts are new and Petrolwerks is a solid shop.

@@superspeeders Yeah what I'm seeing isn't solid shop kind of work. They look like a few guys who have done a few Supras but they are far from professional about the way they have been doing things. The turbos looking different would immediately call them into question for me and its something I would have checked before fitting so the fact they didn't says plenty. Glad they are the same but that then brings into question why it can't make more than 20psi. I wouldn't say its a big problem anyway for now because its mostly unusable until you're really moving - boost by gear is pretty much mandatory at those numbers if you want any kind of drivability - so you're only losing a bit in 4th then a bit more in 5th and 6th. For mile or top speed racing its a problem but for most stuff its not going to make a lot of difference because there's already a lot. It should help keep a bit of strain off the brakes too which may help if those stock rears get hot and start to boil fluid. I just really hope it all works as it should and you don't find out the hard way if someone missed something. Worst case is a crash at high speed but even an engine letting go is a fair bit of cost and time if its avoidable. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but I've been rooting for you to have a reliable, competetive car for years and it always seems so near yet so far.

Will have data soon, there are no shortages of single turbo supras to race.

I would happily line up, but probably wouldn't stand much of a chance from a dig.

@superspeedersRob if I buy a car from a dealership, the fact that I payed for it, does not include me at all in the building process. WE it is not. They built it, you bought it.

@superspeedersRob and paying for it, is a quarter of the process at best. You can have all the money in the world, without having a person there to do the hand work, your money is mute.

The fact that you've replied twice now, tells me that i said something to you that bothered you. Secondly, that's a false equivalence. He is manufacturing vehicles. You are paying for a shop to perform a service for you. When I get an alignment done on my truck, I don't walk into the shop when they hand me the keys and say "congrats everyone, WE did a great job here today". Because I'm aware that me coming in and paying for a service to be done, even if it's my car, parts and property, does not necessarily include me in the building process. I know that's a tad hyperbolic but the point stands. It's a semantic argument, but that's what we're talking about here.
