I *highly* recommend taking a day and spending a day taking cues from your cat. Nap in front of open windows... lounge in sun spots... snuggle into a cozy blanket... it provides a glorious perspective.

I miss having a cat. Miss kitty at our house lost her mind when we got a second dog. She was already mad from dog #1. Dog #2 was apparently a personal offense. So when my daughter moved out, I insisted she find a cat friendly apartment. Miss kitty is now a very happy girl living her best life, but I miss her.

I think Gievenchy does those powders every holiday season... they carry the generic packaging but they do the nice packaging each holiday season... so don't fear using it up. You should be able to get it again.

too faced born this way concealer and tatcha silk canvas primer are both products i did not like at first, but now i love. the creasing of the concealer used to bother me SO much, but now, I have come to appreciate the shade I purchased so much and learned to perfect it with the right setting powder. for the tatcha silk canvas i was convinced it did nothing for me and was upset i’d wasted so much money on it…until I started having more pronounced issues with my foundation settling into lines and pores in an unflattering way this summer and decided to give the silk canvas one more shot. i’m so glad i did! both i had for around a year before falling in love.

How u feel about that merit lip oil is how I feel about the ilia lip oil. The pigment & feel is so unexpected to me, I thought I would hate it but I LOOOOOVE it in Saint. It’s a nourishing oil gloss. I actually got the Wet n Wild primer on your recommendation. It pairs remarkably well with my powder foundation. It provides a hydrating base that prevents the powder from looking cakey on my dry skin.

Hey Hannah! The curiosity got the best of me and I purchased the Pyramid palette from Zeesea based on your feelings about those two special shades (especially the gold one). I would be the last person to urge you to buy more makeup but I have to say, this special gold formula is what the Polish brand Glam Shop is all about! If Clionadh is the Mother of All Multichrome, Glam Shop is the Mother of All Shine and Glimmer. All over lid perfection! They ship to the US for a reasonable price and quickly. Their Marble and Turbo shadows are like the special gold shade or Pat's special formula (or even better, if you ask me)

In talking with my husband this week about my makeup looks - YES, he actually had this conversation - he told me he rarely if ever notices when my eye makeup is different, but nearly always notices when my cheeks and lips are different. He appreciates different lip looks A LOT, which is funny because that's where I also get the most excitement. That being said, it is close to time to replace my eyeshadow palettes (I don't wear anything that is expired on my face and especially my eyes because I've had styes and they SUCK.) So I'm thinking of moving toward using bronzer (matte only) as my eyeshadow. With just a few products, I could have either a light or medium look for daily wear, and either a dark or glowly look for date nights and special events. The question is - which bronzers to go with??? I currently use mostly Lancome (because I can and I don't go spend all my moneys on other products just to declutter) but their bronzer selection in the US is just not there. (Tient la Belle is sold in France and is top notch in my book). What do you suggest? Would a cream bronzer work without having too much tugging on the eyelids? Should I just give up and buy a solid neutrals palette? I currently have two from Viseart, but I literally use four of the 12 shades an that's just a waste. So, anyway. Here I am actually asking any of ya'll for your input. HAHA

Funny enough a product I hated at first but love now is the Saie Glowy Super Gel 😂 I got the mini size last Christmas when it dropped on Sephora and was instantly disappointed upon swatching. The way it dries down is awful but the champagne pearl is really beautiful and it’s perfect for mixing with Auric Glow Lust! Auric fixes the textural issue with it and I actually love applying it by itself on bare eyelids for that oily glossy look on no-makeup makeup days 😍 I just pile a bunch of it on and sometimes add the Gucci Eye Gloss on top and it’s perfect for that purpose!

That cat scarf is divine. I was super mad at the L’Oréal infallible fresh wear powder foundation bc it was super cakey and dry looking. I mean, that’s on me for believing something 18yr olds on tiktok hype would work for my 30s skin =_= but then I just let it wear and it actually looks better with time as the skin oils hydrate it…it’s baffling. Looks so bad in the morning but then I look awesome by noon haha

I wasn't a huge fan of the Flower Beauty Petal pout lipsticks at first, mostly because the colors were all a lot more pink toned than I expected and I had been used to wearing matte liquid lipsticks for years. However, I started using a brown lip liner and really like the color and have come to appreciate the comfortable and reasonably long lasting formula.

I had this experience with the Tatcha Silk Canvass primer. I don't like it as a primer, BUT I''ve been panning the Farsali liquid glass primer which can look a little over-glowey in areas where I have texture, etc. I've eschewed powders as they make my makeup look awful after wearing a mask, but the Tatcha behaves almost like a powder in that it takes down some of the glow & fills in pores when I use it on top of my makeup. I've been reaching for it non-stop since I discovered this trick.

I’m having trouble getting my blush and bronzer to work so I’m trying them separately. With a strong eye look, bronzer alone works best unless it’s a cool toned eye look then I must use orange blush. I’m weird that way.

Oh my gosh!!! The unexpected Cat Scarf!! Pure delight! Made me smile today. On a day that I woke up and had a 30 minute cry-sesh, not a sad cry. More of a detox cry. I'm under alot of stress this week ( really ugly situation at work, my boss being terminated because of our corporate office choosing to mandate a vaccine. Super sad! She has been an awesome Boss for 2 years. And without a vax, she is just being terminated. As a result I'm next in line to fill her position. But it looks like corporate, is gonna replace her from outside, rather than hiring from WITHIN our department. I'm so conflicted. I don't want her to go. I never wanted her job. But I also am very hurt that I'm prolly being overlooked as the next obvious choice to lead the department that I have been helping her run for the past 2 years. Like, literally, I've been her second-in-command.) Wow!!! Talk about Off Topic!!!!!!!! I guess I clicked in your video here for some distraction and escape. I bought the Merit lip oil based on yours and Jamie Paige’s recommendation. I do like it a lot! A product I bought and had it sit around for a couple years was the Lancôme foundation stick. It just seemed too cakey on me. Seeing that it was probably going to expire soon, I decided to give it another try over moisturizer. Now I love it for quick makeup days and traveling, unfortunately it turned up missing at my mom’s house. Hopefully, it will turn up. 🙁

the blue isn't amazing. It's got a blackened base with blue shimmer, and the color is nice but it's not as intense and flaky/creamy as the gold. I think if you like blue to be grungy, it's ideal, but if you are looking for a super intense pop of blue you might be disappointed.
