This is the same guy Mario Chalmer said was beating Lebron 1v1 and then got cooked by 50 year old Michael Jordan. I'm no longer listening to anybody who says Lebron is the GOAT at all after that. 😂😂😂😂
Michael Jordan played five seasons without Scottie Pippen 84-85 38-44..First round exit 85-86. 30-52..First round exit 86-87. 40-42...First round exit 01-02. 37-45..out of playoffs 02-03. 37-45..out of playoffs Lebron james has won more playoff Series' than any player in NBA HISTORY Lebron james has been to 10 nba finals. Only Bill Russell and Sam Jones (in a mostly nine team league) have made more nba finals appearances LeBron james carried an absolutely horrific 2007 Cleveland Cavaliers team to the nba finals In the modern NBA era (post 1960) only nine NBA top 75 players have won a championship without another top 75 player as a teammate Rick Barry (1975) Bill Walton (1977) Hakeem Olajuwon (1994) Tim Duncan (2005) (2007) Kobe Bryant (2009) (2010) Steph Curry (2015) (2022) LeBron james (2016) Kawhi Leonard (2019) Giannis Antetokounmpo (2021) As you can see, LeBron James is on the list and Michael Jordan isnt Lebron james has won 17 playoff series, without an nba top 75 teammate. Michael Jordan won ZERO In the year before Michael Jordan and LeBron James joined their team and the year after they left their team, their records were 83-84 bulls 27-55 84-85 bulls. 38-44 92-93 bulls 57-25 93-94 bulls 55-27 98-99 bulls 13-37 without Scottie Pippen 00-01 wizards 19-63 01-02 wizards. 37-45 02-03 wizards 37-45 03-04 wizards 25-57 02-03 cavaliers 17-65 03-04 cavaliers 35-47 09-10 cavaliers 61-21 10-11 cavaliers 19-63 09-10 heat. 47-35 10-11 heat 58-24 14-15 heat 37-45 2013-14 cavaliers 33-49 2014-15 cavaliers 53-29 2017- 18 cavaliers 50-32 2018-19 cavaliers 19-63 2017-18 lakers. 35-47 2018-19 lakers were 20-14 when LeBron James got injured on Christmas day. As you can see When LeBron James joins a team, the team improves more than Michael Jordan and when LeBron James leaves a team, the team always goes into the tank. Michael Jordan, excluding the 94-97 seasons, when the NBA moved the three point line to 22 feet, was a career 28% three point shooter. LeBron James is a career 34% three point shooter Michael Jordan was a great defensive player, in an Era where you could handcheck. Playing defense is much easier when you can handcheck. For nearly 6'9 250 LeBron James' entire career he wasn't afforded the opportunity to handcheck. THE EVIDENCE IS CLEAR..LEBRON JAMES IS THE GOAT!!!!! I have added a Postscript So many have replied, that LeBron james didn't make the playoffs his first two years and Jordan did. What they fail to say is, in 1985, 16 of 23 teams made the playoffs. In 2004, 16 of 29 teams made the playoffs. It was MUCH EASIER to make the playoffs in 1985, as opposed to 2004. Perfect example is, the 1985 86 bulls went 30-52 and made the playoffs and the 2004 05 cavaliers went 42-40 and did not make the playoffs. Also, I don't know, possibly, maybe, Jordan had a HUGE ADVANTAGE considering he played three years of college basketball and LeBron James was 19 years old, and straight out of high school
@@vicepresidentmikepence889can you elaborate on how he can’t close the season out with a championship? Which is the GOAL of ALL sports teams. Doesn’t that make Jordan a better teammate because he can actually deliver to them and don’t get blamed if they lose and actually share the prestige when they won. Unlike Lebron. Funny how everyone says Lebron is a better team mate just because of the stats he manufacture for himself instead of for the team. He can get to the finals all he wants.. but if he can’t bring the chip home when getting there so much already despite the narrative and teams you control, manipulate and to top it off the juicing.
They've only been proving that just because you play in the league, doesn't mean you know basketball. None of these players have a reputation of being high IQ so when they speak, they expose themselves.

It wasn’t consecutive, bc of his retirement and coming back mid season. However, agreed if MJ didn’t retire and come back mid season he most likely have 12 straight scoring titles.
Mike has 10 scoring titles, Lebron has 1. Mike (SG) had 10 seasons with 100+ offensive rebounds, Lebron (SF) only has 4. Mike had 200+ steals in a season 6 times, and led the league in steals 3 times. Lebron has never had 200 steals in a season or led the league. Mike had back to back seasons with 100+ blocks, Lebron has never had 100 blocks in a season. 5-6 assists per game career is the entire top 10 for SG’s all-time. Mike averaged 5.3 apg career regular season, 5.7 apg career in the playoffs, and exactly 6 apg in the Finals. So he was also one of the best passing SG’s ever.
Stopping mid game, all smiles and celebrating while losing will never not be funny to me. Dudes the perfect encapsulation of this anti competitive dog shit league.
Brons stats are inflated to the point of being meaningless. Getting 40 when the average score is 120 is no where NEAR as impressive as getting 60 when the average score is in the 90s.

I can't like this comment enough. Most, certainly not all, of these star athletes were coddled thru school from an early age, so education was never a priority and it shows.
they all paid by Klutch Sports _lebron only player in history who pays people to either say good things about him and/or bad things about actually talented players_ lebron has no bag
And no one really cares about that except LeBron stans. No one would say emmitt Smith is better than Barry Sanders or Walter Payton because he had more yards.
Thank you. I keep telling that to the Lebron fans out there. Longevity is the only reason why Lebron got the numbers. Being the all time leading scorer don’t make you the Goat. Making all those finals appearances don’t make you the Goat. If Lebron is the Goat, why he only one 4 out of 10 finals. Jordan won 6 titles in 6 appearances. Three peated twice in a 8 year span. It don’t matter how many times you get to the finals. It’s about how many times you won. I’ll take 6 out of 6 over 4 out of 10
@marvinlynch4375 that's not to say Lebron isn't great. He is. His argument for Goat status has little to no merit. Head to head against Jordan he's absolutely destroyed and that's OK. Everybody doesn't stand a chance against him.
@@javierg.249 Exactly. I remember when these stat totals used to be like interesting facts, and not something that people played for or determined as a measure of being better. Saying LeBron has better stats than Jordan is quite possibly the most foul thing a person can say in defense of LeBron being better than Jordan. If you actually look at the stats it's clear to see that Jordan is superior to LeBron; don't get me started on advanced metrics. The ONLY thing LeBron has over Jordan is longevity, which skews accumulated stats in LeBron's favour, and that's why people in favour of LeBron will focus on accumulated stats. These same people neglect the fact that because LeBron has played so long, stats that don't favour him also ramp up (overall turnovers, which LeBron leads all time, for example). It's impossible to defend LeBron over Jordan without looking like a gold medal mental gymnastics Olympian.
Lebron is better in assist and rebounds no matter how you put it sure Jordan has some stats over just depends on which stats you are talking about . you would be wrong about LeBron having just longevity over Jordan.
@@ryanr20091 Ok, let's disregard the longevity stats (purely an individual thing) and concentrate on per game numbers (the stats that actually help teams win).... Mj: Regular Season: Higher PPG Higher ORPG Higher SPG Higher BPG Less TOPG Higher PER Higher BPM Higher WS/48 Higher VORP/48 Higher RAPTOR Higher WAR Playoffs: Higher PPG Higher ORPG Higher SPG Less TOPG Higher PER Higher BPM Higher WS/48 Higher VORP/48 Higher RAPTOR Higher WAR Compare to LeBron who has: Regular Season: Higher DRPG Higher APG Playoffs: Higher DRPG Higher APG Higher BPG So yeah, he does pretty much only have longevity over MJ. But let's break that down and see how LeBron's longevity has elevated his standing in those all time counting stat lists: He is #1 all time in points in the regular season. His is top five all time in assists in the regular season. He is #1 all time in points in the playoffs. He is #1 all time in defensive rebounds in the playoffs. He is #1 all time in steals in the playoffs. Where is Jordan on these lists? He is top five all time in career points in the regular season (#1 all time in PPG) He is top five all time in career steals in the regular season (top 5 in SPG) He is top five all time in points in the playoffs (#1 all time in PPG) He is top five all time in steals in the playoffs. (top 5 in SPG) But, LeBron is also: #1 all time in turnovers in the regular season. #1 all time in turnovers in the playoffs. #1 all time in missesd shots in the playoffs. Soon to be #1 all time in missed shots in the regular season. He also does not feature in any top five per game stat. Hmmm, so much for his longevity 😅🤣😂

@@ryanr20091 dude.... the entire goat debate is nothing but opinions. Some people value or even ignore certain advanced statistics. Some people value peaks more than sustained greatness. Some people value moments, like kobe's 81, over statistical averages. Some value context of stats and some just accept them at face value. Some give greatness deductions for unsportsmanship plays and some dont. We the community are the one who decide who the goat is. Yet, Lebron has played 39% more games than Jordan. What’s more impressive, a candle shining 100% bright for 15 years, or a candle shining 90% as bright as the first one but for 39% longer? If you say the first one, you are pretty much saying Jokic is better than Jordan by far, because he has much better advanced stats. The only ones you can point to and say are more impressive for Jordan are blocks and offensive rebounds. That’s literally it. In the playoffs it’s not any different either.
@@gggyy7104 OK you're even dumber than I initially thought. That's a worry. Do you know the sole reason why any professional sporting league exists? It is to WIN. That's it. There is no bigger reason for their existence. It is to crown champions at the end of every season, to crown their best players, to bestow their most prestigious awards to their players. So what the hell has LeBron won in his 21 years of basketball? LESS THAN JORDAN. What's more, Jordan won more in 11 full seasons as a Bull than LeBron has won in 20 full seasons of his career. 68 official NBA accolades vs 63. What is the point of 'shining brightly the longest' if the end result is still less than the guy who shone more brightly for a shorter period? As you say, every stat puts Jordan ahead of LeBron. So YOU just made your argument to favour Jordan. You've admitted he is the better player. So the better player won more in his career. WHO THE HELL CARES THAT HIS CAREER WAS SHORTER? If he ended up doing more? What is the point? The point is that you are so desperate you fail to see the obvious. As for Jokic....well, he barely leads Jordan in career BPM & PER. But you didn't think of context did you. Jokic is very clearly at the peak of his career with his BPM of 9.9 and PER of 28.0. At the same age Jordan's BPM was 11 and his PER 30.2. There is no comparison at all, those gaps are a chasm as big as the Grand Canyon. There is zero chance Jokic maintains those numbers and he will fall back below Jordan's career numbers, that much is guaranteed. You really need to find better arguments bro....oh wait, you can't find what's not there 😅🤣😂
Stats don't matter if you aren't winning anything. This is why Wilt isn't the GOAT, cuz he only has two chips and a ton of stats. I don't understand why people like Beasly get so caught up in the numbers. Mike literally has more individual accomplishments, and team accomplishments. Jabbar had a better resume and 39k points and we never refered to him as the goat. Tim duncan owns lebron in the reg season and playoffs.
Jabbar was called the goat. Its a temporary title. Kareem and previous greats get f'ed over because they didn't have Nike claiming they had superpowers, 2/5 stats weren't tracked, most awards and accolades were not available to pamper their resume and worst of all barely any games were recorded to keeo the memory alive. Mike for example gets credit for being the first player to win mvp and dpoty. But surely guys like Bill, Mikan, Wilt and Kareem wouldve achieved it if they handed out dpoty's back then. Dudes like Wilt and Russell likely win multiple mvps and dpoty. Mike gets credit for leading the league in scoring and steals. Wilt likely lead the league in fg%, points, rebounds, blocks and its even likely in steals. Same season. Mike has 100blks and 200stks in a season and won dpoty, Hakeem has 200blks and 200stls and didn't. Wilt and Russell likely avg 500 blks and 200stl seasons by the boatload.
Just because someone played the game, well or otherwise, doesn’t automatically mean they’re more qualified or credible when speaking on the game. Especially & particularly when one factors in basketball IQ, actual IQ, potential bias, actual bias, PTSD from certain players whooping they ass, jealousy, envy, being compromised via being paid under the table or otherwise to say certain things, etc
Kareem has actually made more baskets than Lebron. Lebron is 5th in 3 point attempts. Kareem played before the merger when there was no 3 point line. Kareem didn't grow up shooting 3s because they didn't exist. All props to Lebron but the two are not comparable in scoring since they played under different rules that favor players who grew up and played their entire careers with a 3 point line.
Like I’ve been telling people, Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain are the only ones who reached 30k points in under 1,000 games, add the fact that Jordan didn’t attempt many 3 pointers and it’s even more impressive.
Anyone who brings up the 40K points by LeBron loses all credibility in this debate because accumulative points NEVER mattered before LeBron had the record. Jordan NEVER surpassed Kareem on the all-time scoring record, but he was definitely seen by the greatest to ever play the game after his 1998 retirement. Shoot, a lot of people thought he was the greatest after his first retirement in 93. The accumulative argument was never mentioned until it could benefit LeBron. Longevity does not help LeBron's case, it actually hurts it because LeBron could not achieve in 20+ years when Jordan achieved in 13 years with the Bulls other than accumulation.
Michael Beasley's argument is weak but it's about the same argument everyone else makes for lebron. Check the stats, check the stats, check the stats... Oh and he's been to the finals a bunch of times...
Well, if I was a coach, I wouldn't trust playmaking duties for someone who has career 2/1 assist/turnover ratio and who leads league in total turnovers by large margin.
That is why Ty Lue stuck Lebalco in the corner on the most important possession of the Cavs career. He went strait to 23 yr old Kyrie instead of giving Lebalco the chance to turn it over.
I don’t think that’s what Beasley is saying. I think he’s saying statistically LeBron is better than the next 5 in every category (which isn’t true) but that’s what he’s saying. I mean it’s Michael Beasley after all.
Stats are for losers. Stats are a participation trophy - it’s why the league is in such bad shape - it used to be about winning, non-competitive Bron made it about stats and entitlement.
For all the people that like to talk about how tough this era is because of the level of talent and skill. Pls explain to me how a dude who plays zero defense, always turning the ball over, has a below average three pointer, always has ankle soreness and is almost 40 and it still averaging 25ppg and stacking stats in this era!!
Michael Beasley is trying to get a job. All these former players that keep Bron meat in their mouth knows it farms engagements and they can get a potential sponsorship deal from Klutch Sports.
21 seasons and counting 4 rings. 15 seasons with 6 rings (undefeated). Numbers are cool, but the greats play for chips. I'm not a Jordan fan, Reggie Miller was my guy, but the truth is the truth. 4 rings in 21 seasons is a failure for a career, and the more seasons he plays, the worse he looks. My nephew said he saw LeBron at a Subaru dealership two months ago, I asked what he was getting. My nephew said he was looking for a Legacy! 😂🤣😂🤣
@dutchiz2 if I were just talking about 4 rings in a vacuum, that wouldn't be a failure. However, I was talking about a specific person in a specific situation. The way people talk about ShaBron, 4 rings in 21+ seasons is an utter failure. Keep what I said in the context I said it in, not yours.
Who was that basketball player? What was his achievement to provide such opinion? You may have a lot of points but if a player is not a key to winning and being champinions, it is a BIG WORTHLESS FOOL! A KING WITHOUT CROWN AND ROBE;
As I've said for as long as I've actively cared about the G.O.A.T. debate, stats definitely matter, but winning should be the primary metric in judging players. A.I. had a 10 year stretch where he put up 29/4/6 and won 3 steals championships, but no real person is pounding the table for him as a top 10-15 player ever
You can use stats to tell any story you want. As a hooper myself I judge a player on his skills and his ability to perform those skills at any time during the game and from everywhere on the floor. Also do we have to adjust defense to guard you🤙🏿when it comes to this lebron is not top 10 and possibly not even 20. Lebron is not good off ball and the lebron system is call for a pick to get the weaker defender and force a double team and kick to open shooters👎🏿pat riley wanted to trade Lebron for Chris Paul after loosing to Dallas. Jeanie buss wanted to trade Lebron as soon as he got there. And David griffin said good riddance
@@Dipset415 Most bigs aren't super effective off ball. However, if you want to use an argument on defense, that's more than fair. Riley and Buss both might have disliked LeBron, but both changed their tunes as soon as he won rings for them. They don't both currently dislike him, at least not publicly. Also, if Pat traded for CP0, the Heat wouldn't have won the rings in 2012 and 2013 because they wouldn't have had a small forward to take pressure off of Wade, and Mario Chalmers, who was an excellent off ball fit for Miami's system that essentially made James a point guard, would be essentially useless in that system.
@@chuckyjamesamartin1968 gotta disagree cp3 at that time was a great all around basketball player was 1st team all nba on defense and offense 💯a pass first defensive point guard who can score from everywhere on the floor. Wade had to fall back with lebron since bron can’t play off ball🤙🏿with cp3 they more than likely win all 4 instead of underachieving with not 5 not 6 not 7 but only 2 barely😔
@Dipset415 Something else that I think is overlooked is that while Wade put up one of the best years of his career in 2010-11 while being a top 5 player, and was still a top 10 player the next year, he was really good in 2012-13, and then just good in 2013-14. His regular season numbers got steadily worse during him time in Miami, and he was almost a negative during Miami's 2013 and 2014 postseason runs.
If Lebron was so great then why did he lose 3 championships to Curry! Also, Curry didn’t go shopping into a championship team. LOL! All those stats are Padded and everyone knows it!
Wow.! Look at LeBron get a lot of rebounds under a deserted rim.! That' s incredible!. And look at that marvelous flopping and travelling.!! GOAT right there !
dangerproductions video says it all. They put Jordan at the point guard for something like 15 games. He averaged a triple double basically ( 30.4 points, 9.8 rebounds, 10.7 assists, and 2.5 steals per game while shooting 49.8% from the field) This hype , internet , lebron pushing media is just pathetic. Its a stat padding generation. The games are like what you would see at the local YMCA.
Robert Horry is not the GOAT. So if Lebron played a role like Horry but won 10, then no. But if he was the best player on most of those 10 championship teams, and didn't have the flop rule created because of him, and didn't have the 65 game rule created because of him, then yeah. Hell, his case is so much stronger if he even beats the Mavs in '11. I wouldn't have him as GOAT if the Heat won in '11, but it is at least an argument.
Accumulative stats don't mean nothing at the end of the day because the weakest player can have better stats than a legend just by being consistent over a longer period of time. Next
Scoring record with 1 3 pointer and going to college > scoring record with 2033 plus 3 pointers and skipping college for a headstart. The flaw with Michael Beasley's argument is in the 70s, 80s, and 90s point guards were pass first players. So, most point guards in those eras didn't average over 20 ppg. And power forwards were mainly rebound and defensive players. And power forwards of that era barely averaged over 10 - 15 ppg.
what i don’t understand is why nobody calls out lebron’s travels? dude pretty much travels half of his scores. it’s not even the same game any more. wtf?
Since when does Lebron have better stats than MJ? Are PPG not a stat? PPG in the playoffs? PER? Steals PG? Is winning percentage not a stat? If you are playing one winner-takes-all game, do you care more about career totals or per game stats? enough already
