I’m 69 will be 70 in November and yes I’m what the younger generation call a “ girlie girl”. I still use my baby voice and men of all ages turn their heads and try to start a conversation with me. Although I love the attention I do tell the younger men that I’m old enough to be their mother or grandmother. So follow the advice you’re getting here and enjoy being a woman. I am unapologetically feminine. It’s been challenging in my life journey. The best advice I’d offer feminine women (and men) is don’t waste much time on people who dislike or oppose femininity. Even if they are close relatives, friends, or other people you care about. I’ve been in situations where people openly tried to “tear down” my femininity. Even the memories are painful. It’s like they perceived my femininity as a flaw and kept trying to “correct” me or force me to be somebody else. Everyone deserves to be appreciated for who they are, not for some artificial reinvention of who others think they should be to suit their perception/s.
A Masion My Mom is a pick me. She keeps telling my sister and I that no man will want us because we're too girly and useless. Ironically, we get hit on by provider men while she's still single trying to attract a man with her career, willingness to help him move furniture, save his money and having knowledge on fixing cars. She's so brainwashed by dusties it's ridiculous. It's like she's unaware that wealthy men that have their life together exist. She refuses to grow her natural long nails, because a potential partner might need help with something. Not us though. We're not breaking, or cutting, our natural nails to do any work. We ignore her as best we can.

This is so easy to pull off. I would say the majority of women these days are carrying masculine energy and aren’t investing in their looks. If you’re in a dress and your hair and makeup is done, you’ll automatically turn heads just with that alone, and you haven’t even opened your mouth yet.
It’s weird, but I’ve encountered some very masculine energized women who are VERY well-groomed, nicely dressed, etc. I suspect masculinity in women results from multiple factors. Lifestyle, career demands, social expectations. Some women are more masculine than others by nature.
Girl you’re soo right! I live in a small town and I walk around here like a model and I tend to get attention from all the old contractors , farmers, business men. I never have sex with them because they feel so special just being around me. Hair done, nails done, nice clothes, I have book smarts and a career. I can go pick up a little sundress from Walmart , put some cute heels on , put my glam jewelry on and I’m getting my bills paid by somebody daddy today!!! That’s all it really takes....

I can attest to the fact that this works for plus size/big girls, too! Having extra weight is not as much a deterrent to femininity as some people think. I may be in the process of losing weight, but personally, I find that men are very attentive & most of them won't let me lift a finger. But, I am sure that once this extra weight is gone, it'll be easier for me to actually secure a bag. I can't wait!
I totally agree with Shera! Men are naturally attracted to higher pitched female voices. I do this when I go out, and the men pamper me, tell me I look pretty and say I smell good! I get drinks, food, great conversation and plenty of attention! I’ve always been really feminine, but Shera has taught me to be even more feminine and I love it!

We need to bring back the feminine looks like in the 60s, 70s. Not necessarily the exact style but the femininity. Women were so beautiful and feminine back than. Thin, fit, Cute dresses, elegant shoes, cute purse, hair done, make up... And men were dressed like gentleman. I was watching "mad men" recently and I got nostalgic for that fashion. Hi. I agree with everything but the ultra-thin body type. The “fashionable” figure type well through the 1980’s was not realistically achievable in normal, healthy women. If you review period music videos and look at some of the popular supermodels, every woman is extremely thin and “straight” (flat chested, little or no waist definition, straight hips). Most ADULT women with normal, healthy bodies don’t look like that. Rather than embrace an unattainable type, true femininity embraces body diversity. A feminine woman is a “waif.” She is voluptuous. She is obese. She is ultra-athletic. She is ultra curvaceous. She’s everyone. One problem that dramatically affects personal appearance in present day society is...working people are underpaid. When you look at the value of today’s dollar, today’s costs of living, and compare to 1960’s-1980’s, current salaries/wages/benefits DON’T keep up with expenses. Employers can’t realistically demand that employees dress up for work when people can’t afford basic living costs much less suits. Business casual dress code is the result of cheap employers.

I have a coworker that I have started going out with. I notice that our energies mesh well and together we snatch wigs and attention. She is very confident in her actions, whereas I am very subtle, dainty but I am also effortlessly sexy. I live in NJ it gets cold by fall winter leggings are definitely a staple up here but you can dress them up with tunics blazers beautiful boots and flats feminine can also be a dark mysterious aura in very feminine but i don't wear bright colors i perfer earth tones black and cream colors minimal makeup too it works for me
