As a V1 owner I am envious! The improvements made on this platform are perfect. They addressed a huge majority of its original issues. And for that price (compared to the amount I put into my V1) is actually very good!

I love it that you didn’t run those kids off! Some RU-vidr acts like it’s a problem when kids show up in their video. Get them in the hobby young! Great driving man!

Killer shop breakdown and first rip bro!! Arrma made so many nice changes and yes the Outcast is plain gorgeous!😍😍The size difference of the V2 is perfrct for running 1/8 scale size rigs with much cheaper fixes and easy to wrench on🤗You picked a perfect spot to give her maiden run being a true stunt truck! It definitely took some rough hits!👀Good call stopping and turning down the brake!😆Can't wait to get my Kraton 4s back out with the 15 tooth pinion! This looked like butter in your hands, so smooth and responsive. The Servo seems like a huge improvement over the V1's so very strong and fast. The best part is the price 469.00, I paid 621.00 out the Door for my Maxx so this feels like a steal and it looks like more Truck than the V2.Maxx as well. This is gonna be fun, it really is. As much as I love watching these videos. And I own 3 Arrma vehicles myself. I gotta point out that this kind of driving in a skate park has more to do with driver skill than durability. It is being very under emphasized that how you're driving this rc is giving it the best chance at avoiding any breakage. I feel it's something thar a lot of rc reviewers/content creators aren't talking about. The skill it takes to actually land at the right angles jump after jump takes a lot of practice. And in the meantime you will undoubtedly break often. No matter what brand rc you get.

6:15 Use some sticky velcro all around that opening where the spur is. It will catch a lot of the rocks, and at least stop a lot of the larger ones that could damage things. Learned that one from Razor RC. That and the hole would really help with that dust and debris issue.

I love how you took it right to the skatepark! Your skills there always amaze me 🤩 Looks like Arrma made some great improvements! I am curious to hear your thoughts compared to the Maxx. Looks like the Outcast handles alot better 👍

I just got the 6s Typhon but my heart is still with my composite chassis 3s for now. Maybe my next rig will be another composite but 4s! I'm just getting back into it and have a bunch of videos to upload soon! Stay tuned!

Thank you as always for not just tge first review of this very appealing new release from arrmq (especially considering that the 6s outcast is the rig I generally enjoy the most in terms of a "stunt truck" offroad or even the occasional on rd sessions depending on time, location and is perfect for any level of "freestyling" in general) but more so than anything, the most knowledgeable/ seasoned review of a rig that has been a staple on the channel over the years. Whether its the outcast 6s (the first real hobby grade rc I bought approx 5 years ago that really was responsible for sparking my interest with you behind the tx), the bigger brother 1/5 exb that ive owned for almost a year now but am only now just starting to really run & wrench on due to some initial issues with tons of slop but have since been resolved and ofcourse the previous 1/10 outcast that I never really paid too much attention to...atleast until I saw the specs of this new larger/beefier "1/10" 4s outcast that certainly seems to be a combination of the better designs/better characteristics used to make what most def seems to be the 4s arrma rig(s) alot of guys have been asking for since the last version sort of disappeared from the market just to return bigger, looking great and with all the updates... I have a feeling she's going to be my first 4s arrma for good reason. I very much look forward to seeing what you manage to do with this new release of an all time favorite as well as how it may actually compare in terms of performance/strength to its older now only slightly bigger but definitely heavier 6s 1/8 older brother. Really wish they would throw a center diff in there and design a 4s typhon and talion to go along with the new 4s kraton for many reasons but I fir sure will be picking this v2 up as my first 4s/composite chassis badass basher in hopes that she will perform like a 6s 1/8 but with bonus of being lighter, able to flex under heavy impacts due to that "trick" t2r design in conjunction with the flex designed center shaft no doubt! As always thank you Rich for keeping us all in the loop and entertaining, educating and ultimately sharing all that you do so that we can benefit by avoiding the unnecessary issues/errors while offering us so much of an advantage in terms of the many successful tuning adjustments, more functional/performance enhancing if not necessary upgrades and allowing us to jump to the head of the class by following a similiar path as you (the "FastTrack" if you will no pun intended lol) all 9f which is greatly appreciated. Any chance you will be hitting that "jump park" spot you used to regularly visit with the drop in off the shipping container anytime soon with this new outcast 4s or is that location with the sweet jumps/rhythm sections no longer available for running? Sure did enjoy watching you run anything there tbh as the technical multiple consecutive jumps ate just insane to watch... 🍻👌👊

I’m telling you I was a traxxas guy for the longest time bought my first arrma and I’m friggin hooked these trucks are tanks to me price wise you can’t go wrong and parts are so much cheaper than traxxas I have bought a 6s notorious and a granite 1/10 scale and a 1/10th scale Senton can’t wait to build these things I have a ton of parts coming again arrma in my opinion is a better product especially for people just getting into the hobby hop up parts are a lot cheaper good luck guys

This maybe my next rig to build, almost completely done with the Granite 3s/4s, it is so over built, that I blew out the rear differential assembly. Changing it over to all metal 4s BLX w/ metal case gear, and metal input shaft. Maybe I should just buy a longer chassis?

I think you just sold me. I’ve been looking into an arrma kraton or outcast 6s but I’m new and think a 6s is to much. I have a rustler 4x4 vxl that I cannot stop breaking. My kids have an arrma typhon mega that’s now brushless that hasn’t broken a thing. 100% buying the 4s outcast v2.

Awesome video. You're the first review of the new model I've seen. How do you think the Outcast compares (functionally) to the new Kraton model? Which would be better in the hands of a newer driver to learn air control and stunts? I also would at a skate park a lot, in addition to running on mostly sand otherwise.

This thing is sweet! It comes with all metal gears, spur included, and the steel driveshafts are a super must. The 3s Plastic ones always broke at the knuckles

Definitely getting a new 4S Kraton V2. I grabbed a couple Hobbystar hardcase batteries myself and super impressed. The 8000mah 3S and 4S packs are perfect for the Arrma 3S and 4S line. As always, great video! Love the content.

This new Outcast MAY become a Skate Park KING!!! And it may be the sweet spot for many. I really loved the look of the 4S Outcast gen 1 but clearly the shocks were horrible and other than riding huge wheelies with it I much preferred the Granite or 6s Outcast and then when the Kaiju came out I immediately sold the 4S Outcast. I like the fact that it's substantially bigger and the body looks even better than before and they've improved shocks and Driveline. As of now Redcat MT10E is the king of the Skate Park but hopefully this will knock it off the list!

I even had the neighbor chick come out with her kid to watch me rip around in the street yesterday with my new EXB Outcast I just picked up. It’s kind of bad for me to have an audience... I tend to go a little too hard and steep out of my comfort zone and end up breaking something LOL
