There's certain places on this planet where humanity just doesn't belong and should never go there. This looks like one of those places.

Nah… come be prepared for your dive. Bang stick or powerhead, I use the latter. But then again, I am a retired commercial diver. Plan/train for everything under the water.

I totally agree. I’m fascinated with them especially Great White Sharks but I will stay on land letting them have their home in the oceans. I do like watching videos of them appreciating those who take the videos.

Such high calorific concentration as a fish school/ball precipitates the presence of apex predators. Careful diving in those conditions!

Great. I had seen this already elsewhere, but the historical context adds value to the amazing images. I am a bit skeptical about speculation that white sharks may be attracted by an acceleration of the heart rate. White sharks prey on tuna and dolphins, which have a higher average heart rate than humans. Also they could prey on sand tiger or other sharks. With all these other sharks around it must be hard for a predator to pinpoint a prey with higher heart rate. But I know injured fish when spearfishing has a distinct vibration, but it could be due for being on a line or on a shaft.

I will not willingly go into a lions den either, so why go into the ocean? Not me, but I appreciate everyone who does so we can live vicariously through them.

This is a big nope for me! I have no need to prove my bravery or stupidity, whichever fits, in challenging a massive hoard of sharks to not see me as a convenient snack. I was gifted with a modicum of wisdom and common sense and I exercise it regularly!

@watrgrl2 Год назад
@@ryanborowicz9368 actually I was going to be a marine biologist and I studied fisheries in High school so I am quite open minded. I just value my limbs and digits and don’t have any desire to tempt fate but you go right ahead and enjoy yourself in the ocean and swim with predators to your heart’s content and I will watch comfortably on RU-vid.

Are those little fish cleaning the sharks 🤔? The sharks don’t look like they are eating the fish. I sit on the shoreline. I think my pacemaker electrical device will call them in 😂
@tiabeaniesemotionalsupportdmon
Same! I also have a pacemaker that’s activated constantly, and I’ve often wondered if that would attract sharks. I stay on land… Wouldn’t want to risk it!
