Hey Fellerz and Fellettes !! These S+ Rank Hardcore No Save runs were just to fill up my results screen. In no way shape or form is this supposed to be impressive or looked at as a serious attempt at a speedrun. It was just me going fast with strats being made on the fly. No practice or studying. I absolutely LOVE this game and I don't want to ruin it by grinding serious speedruns off the bat. Hope you enjoy these runs and I hope that it helps you learn how to get an S+!!! :^)

Hope you guys and gals enjoy the run!!! I only did these for fun In no way shape or form is this supposed to be looked at as a serious attempt at a speedrun. It was just me going fast with strats being made on the fly. I went extremely hard on speedruns when RE7 came out and burnt out really fast. I'm' trying to make sure that doesn't happen for RE2 so I'm just taking my time to enjoy the game and having fun with casual play :)

Bawkbasoup you said it in the video I believe but does it bother you that in this remake they don’t try to blend the two scenarios together? In the original one person fought g1 Birkin while the other fought The G monster. The next person fought G2 Birkin while he other fought G3 then G4 and super tyrant. They seemed slightly lazy in not trying to mesh the scenarios together, in the original one went mainly to nest while the other went to the area with the lava and all that. I love the game and I’m on my fourth play through but this is my main/only gripe about it.

BTW for anyone wondering and wanting to do this for themselves, you CAN use the infinite knife to get S+, just no other infinite weapons.

I still think they should give Ada her own DLC mini-campaign like they did in RE4 and 6. Showing how she got to the RPD, how she escaped the city after the end, etc.

One shot on the poison monsters to get by them is a great tip. Had no idea using a knife against Birkin was so OP. This was very informative👍🏽👍🏽

100% that G Adult corridor leading to the flamethrower/sparkshot is the most stressful part of this game. I ragequit several times going for S+ in scenario A for both characters there. One of your vlogs actually was what taught me to dodge the last dude by jumping up on the ledge as he charges. I clench hard there.

Rewatching this and seeing him being wrong about what RE game was next is pleasing. Not because he looked dumb, but because he was operating from the standpoint of a cynic which... made sense for the company at the time. Glad to see we were BOTH wrong

Least favorite part in the game with those G Imagos in the sewers, really need to find a technique to easily avoid them, once they grab you and you have no self defense items, you are screwed.

They get staggered by the fire of the flamethrower, if they are burning they will still grab you but the animation will get interrupted by the fire.

Danilo Morales yeah but the main problem with that is we’ll be dealing with the majority of the G’s before we acquire the flame thrower and after leaving that invested swamp, we’ll never seen them again. So either way, they’ll still be a huge pain to deal with

I agree. The three hardest areas are 1) The RPD west corridor after getting the bolt cutters. 2) The G Mutants in the cesspool area of the sewer. 3) The lobby of Nest with the two lickers. These are not in any particular order, but they are areas that give me the most headaches. The sewer is probably the worst, because dodging the mutants can be tricky, even for skilled players.

Watching you and trance the last days and u helped me get s plus with Leon A. Really sick work. Now I am trying Claire. About Mr X last fight: it is not a timed event. Shoot him constantly in the chest with shotty (14 bullets) and the rocket launcher drops immediately.

Hey bawk the flamethrower on the tyrant at the end it makes it a lot easier as long as dodge his attacks I just got done completing the game in 1:09:57 S+ using that method I haven't found anything better yet

Finally done Leon B on Hardcore with 3 saves and 2 hour 20 minutes, was waiting for S+ to comes up but turns out you have to do it under 2 hours. I was 20 minutes over so got A Rank. Need to redo it. Happy i unlocked the Hunk and Tofu scenario though.

Saves don't matter unless you get under 2 hours. If you get under 2 hours but have more than 3 saves you get S if you have 3 or less saves under 2 hours you get S+.ANything over 2 hours in B Leon or Claire and you wont get S. 2:30 mins for A.

Btw, the molded are in this game. But, they are remodeled into the naked zombies that in Runaway and No Way Out modes in the Ghost Survivors dlc.

ive only done 1 playthrough so far but i used the flamethrower for the 3rd G fight. Third stage of the fight flashbang and unload the flamethrower on him killed him super fast

to be clear. A and B just changes the way you get to the police station, and the final boss on the train and all the rest are the same (the way you play all the items are at the same place as A). No alternative cutscene, no secret room which you can not access on A

This game for some reason they mad Acid Rounds way weaker than Flame Rounds compared to the original game. I think its because you can craft acid rounds that they made the flame rounds stronger as you can only pick them up and not make them from gun powder. Flame rounds kills a lot of non zombie enemies much quicker than acid rounds. acid grounds does a good job of staggering enemies but flame rounds does way more damage and sometimes stagger enemies.

I got to the sewers in the time it took you to get to the labs. I just can't go as fast. I always have to backtrack and I still get lost sometimes.

Ehh, I would say the .45 Pistol for Leon on B run has better damage. Which makes sense. Larger caliber. But Claire's B run gun is terrible.

Acid rounds broken vs lickers? Nah, takes 2-3 rounds of acid to take a licker down and 1-2 flame rounds to kill one.

I want to tell you something about the time Birkin claws from the roof.. But I am sure you will prob figure it out by the time this has been said.. If not I am a little shocked. If you do not want to know do not click read more... Is the same from the original at the train. He claws 5 times before he stops. No waste of ammo required. Its something I figured out when I first faced it as I was thinking it probably would be the same and it is.

@@danilomorales5492What I am saying is you do not have to spend ammo. Of course that is more for a different challenge over speedrun stuff. ( Or if for what ever reason you are somhow in a bind ammo wise at that point. ) I know he does it as its quicker, but he also does something else that is NOT quicker but thinks it is.

I use your vids as a go to when I get stuck and need to learn a good route. So many other "speedrunners" fucking dont know puzzle solutions either...sit there fucking forever...so annoying.

What I don’t get is the blue herbs in #RE2Remake .There are no giant spiders that poison the character when get bitten to get him to use the blue herb or combined with green and red in the original. Correct me if I’m wrong ‘cause I’m not sure what’s it’s purpose in this remake. Unless it’s for the mutant plants attack on the lab section?

I played RE7 only once, couldn't wait to be done.....has really no replay value to me!!! This one, different story! Amazing! I'm an explorer, dont care about speed runs, there fun to watch, but not for me....plus I like to kill everything!

There was an article being the knife damage tied to framerate, so if your framerate is lower than his, you won't be able to replicate the killing that fast. It is kind of an advantage to those with high-end PCs.

I counted slashes while killing him on a PS4 (regular version, not pro) knife only (+ the frag grenade) hardcore and it took me more than 50 slices!
