Step 1. Locking Arms - A quick exercise to try out to help you start extending your arms fully before pulling up. Jump to the bar from a foot away, grab the bar w/ bent arms, then extend arms out as you swing forward.
Step 2. Extend Legs- Well just be changing the way we kip to help the muscle up not only look better but get stronger. Kip with extended legs
Step 3. Decrease Kip- Slowly letting go the amount of kip needed to get over the bar. Jump to the bar from 2-3 feet away to gather some momentum then muscle up with a lower amount of kip than usual.
Step 4. Delete Kip- In the video I gave a demonstration on a technique that helps get use to using no kip in muscle ups. Grab bar, walk on toes as far back as you can which shouldn't be much. Lift feet up to gather a small swing then muscle up. Or stand under bar, jump, grab, then muscle up.
