Man I love the no bullshit approach... Straight to the point, high quality dishes, not reinventing the wheel, just making better wheels. I'll be sure to grab some seasonings from the site soon when I try one of your many soul food dish vids. Specifically your pastalaya
Definitely catching myself watching your videos my brotha. But is it me or we ain’t getting that same hyped energy we get from you when you cooking outside. Keep that energy up bro. Much blessings to you
Thank you so much I really appreciate it and I’m happy you like the videos knowledge is power. Keep on taking in all this learning of cooking before you know what you’ll be a master chef. 🙌
Simple instructions. THANK YOU. Ive been experimenting with how to get the perfect cast iron skillet steak and youre the only video ive seen where the person explains what flame level to use and how long on each side.
@noneyabizz3403 but you can heat it up way higher. Olive oil has a low smoke point. Less heat, means less crust if you cook it blue rare or rare. I do 2 min a side max.
Avocado oil and when you flip it. Don't flip it in the same spot. It needs to get the same heat it got the 1st time it was drooped in. If you flip it in the same spot. That spot is lower in temp. Just saying. Everything else I'm good with! :) Another method. Same cast iron skillet. But heat the oven to 450. Sear both sides of the steak as normal. 2 min a side. After 2 min a side. Throw it in the oven. Same thing. 2 min a side. Add some butter/garlic to it while it's resting. Bam.. perfect medium everytime! Enjoy!
Highkey Ralph you should do more videos like these. Like mainstream food, steaks, salmon, carne asada all that. Keep up the good work🤟started watching at 20k now over 30k in less than a few days. I love watching channels grow😅
Thanks for not slapping the butter in the pan and having the butter eject out of the pan… This is much more satisfying… Love it that you’re not stingy with the butter
@@Ralphthebaker your good brotha. I'm not good with this stuff either and I have my gf so all my internet and computer stuff which is sad because my dad at one point was one of the best computer techs in the Midwest for years and my dumbass never cared to learn as I thought everything electronic and online would fail, but I was way wrong. Love your channel, everything looks awesome and I'm a cook/chef myself. Keep up the good work buddy and ima order some of your seasoning and see how it is for sure.
@Ralphthebaker Love your recipes, instructions and all y'all's videos. I was very proud to see you finish off this steak of yours by basting it with the butter, garlic and rosemary. The BEST steak I've ever had
