0:52 - setup by taking opposite leg and place it on heel of the toe and half a step backwards; The other tutorial videos didn't mention this tip, definitely will try this out. 1:56 - really useful for pointing this out to not use the upper body to rotate but rather use the hips in a similar motion to hinging, this time adding a rotation whilst doing so. Will look back at this comment I made for future reference during my gym time.

Thanks for the helpful explanation. I tried these yesterday and really enjoyed them, I found that elevating my back foot on a bench like for a bulgarian, helped with my balance and not putting too much weight on the back foot too. Is there any reason why that would be less beneficial?

hey amanda! we have a new video up called "the supported b-stance RDL" where you will see the back foot is up on some blocks, but if you are using a bench, then that's likely too high and turns it into a split squat instead of an RDL. I would watch the new video and then let us know if you have ANY questions and we are happy to help!

This exercise seems very interesting, I suspect it also works the Psoas as well to a certain degree? Which may be beneficial for those facing lower back pain due to imbalances in those muscles?

I already do dumbell (conventional) RDL's so it may be worthwhile to change to these as the carryover from this to ''everyday functionality'' seems higher.

Update: I gave this a try a few days ago, and tomorrow will do it again. Anyways, it seems like my assumtion is correct, seems to do 'something' to the Psoas.

Idk why my left glute doesnt feel anything when doing regular b stance RDL, but when i do this i can feel it clearly
