grief NEVER goes away, it just visits less and less often. please don't try not to FEEL it. let us all acknowledge that anytime we "push feelings away" those feelings are just WAITING to be felt. years from now, there will be a smell, or a song, or a joke that will hit you like a Mack Truck... i can't wait until you find your garden (with a house hahahaha) and your garage (with house, hahahaha.) this will make hilarious vids

I was my Daddy's girl. I'm 69 years old and my dad passed when I was 27. The grief is still there!! Give yourselves grace. I see my dad randomly walking around everywhere I go. At first, it freaked me out. Now, I view it as my dad watching over me. You will always miss him. I always miss my did!

When you talked about your daily lives being centered on caring for you Dad and supporting your Mom during a long terminal illness, it took me back to the same circumstances. I remember thinking, “I had a life but I don’t remember where I left off”. It was like losing my place in a book. I didn’t know where and how to restart my life. Over time, the pieces came together.

I relate to all of this so much. Our local hospital thought I too was an employee ( offered me an employee discount on something at the time) All of your insights on grief, perceptions…everything you said…are so poignant. Most of us struggle privately while grieving yet you two were brave enough to post and share. That’s doubly hard. Please be kind to yourselves. You are both lovely, inside and out. I appreciate every single thing you do. You will never be judged by me🥰 .

❤ once we got to 65 yr old..we knew that our time is growing short so we know that we are going to heaven with JESUS so we are ready to go...one person dies and babies are born to help our grief go away...you guys are great❤hey everybody please ask Jesus into your heart today while you still have time ❤

When my dear friend passed away over ten years ago he was in hospice for the last month of his life. I visited him every day while he was there. The night he died I left his room and sat in my car weeping, also thinking "now what?" I'm so sorry for your loss. Grief is such a strange thing. Ten years later and I still get sad when I think about that time. But it's not as crippling. You don't really move "on" but forward. The hole in your heart is still there, just not as big. Time does heal. Thinking of you!

First of all, let me say how proud of y'all for taking such loving care of your family. Time with them, even though painful is still a time~shared and a memory.( love IS love no matter how it looks to outsiders, only you determine it for yourself) Please take comfort & peace in the knowledge that you did your best in very difficult circumstances. As a follower/viewer I am so honored that you shared such vulnerable thoughts with us. I would like to encourage you with this: The Bible says there is " the first commandment with a promise" and that is- of the 10 commandments, the 5th commandment is "Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God commanded you, that your days may be long, and that it may go well with you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you." Losing a parent when you are young is so hard. My mom died at 58. That first year was so hard. Everything I was driving in my car alone I would start crying. My father died two years ago but we had the long goodbye of Alzheimer's and there was more a sense of relief.

I love to watch your videos. I’m so sorry about your father. I lost my father when I was 29yrs old, btw I’m 76 yrs old. It’s still makes me cry when I think about him. But I have a lot of wonderful memories about him . I wish I had a sister to share memories with. Love your channel . I am on Keto and it’s been good. But have around the same weight for several months now. But if I don’t lose anymore that’s ok

Isn’t it something? I lost my dad way back in October of 2010 and seriously, just a few days ago, for just a literal split second, I thought to call him. I miss him still. I love him but I know evench I will see him again. God bless you ladies!
