I'm so excited for the final adventure . I love this character so much . I really trust in James Mangold . Because I don't believe the movie is bad . The movie have 62% on rotten tomatoes in this moment .
Fr, even if the movie is not as great as the original trilogy at the very least it sounds like you'll have a hell of a time watching it with good ol' classic Indy moments. Also the fact that you can't really trust RT these days, they gave the Mario movie a ridiculously undeserved low score, but literally everyone else loved it.
Those first 3 Indy films are cinematic masterpieces. Who makes films like those today? I can't wait to see this last film. I just wish we had gotten more of them over the decades.

Same here everyone. I will watch this in the wide screen. The sad part, I will be watching this on my own. My wife and children are not a fan of Indie. If I mention it to them that it's showing is near, they will just say ford is old. They would watch it in streaming but just to accompany me, I'd rather watch it on my own.
The principle character in the magnificent Indiana Jones series of movies is Dr Henry Jones, Junior… he is handsome, intelligent, swashbuckling. As an aging woman, who has followed our archaeological hero through the ages, may I please ask that he is never replaced by any woman…She may be pretty and intelligent, but she will never convincingly master swashbuckling. If he goes back in time wouldn't the people on those ships view the plane flying overhead? So I guess that wouldn't have any effect on history being changed apparently. You can clearly view the sails on the ships from below. So anyone on those ships could see that loud and large plane flying overhead.
Let's say you're a Greek or Roman in 200 odd BC and you see a large smoking winged thing flying overhead during a battle. How exactly is that going to change the course of history?

So I'm just saying it all doesn't make sense. You are right that it probably wouldn't change history. I heard that people think it is some sort of flying dragon in the film. I knew that this would be Harrison Ford's last one but the music in this trailer specifically really hit me that it would be his last one because it is so orchestral and moving that it actually got me a bit emotional. Give em hell Indiana Jones !

I've watched this today alone. If with my family they may also be disappointed. Sorry but it's nothing compared to the 1st three. I only like the first scene with the nazis, in the train. The rest of it I don't know.
For all long time indiana jones fans who were there from the start, be prepared for a tired, washed up old man who says he wants to die, and gets replaced by a younger, hip character who always belittles him for being old, also mutt is said to have died in Vietnam
That bothers me if they were to include that vietnam plot line. Considering that indiana jones is an american hero after what he did in the first raiders of the lost ark film, he could easily have asked for a deferment for his son, if shia labeouf was drafted. If he volunteered to go, then that is something else entirely. If they leave it vague in the film, then we are left to guess what happened. So I would be curious as to what they say in the film about that, or if they leave it unclear. Also it is ridiculous if it is true that he went to vietnam. He was after all into motorcycles and he says that in the last film. indiana jones could just say he is traveling across the country and doesn't call very often. There wouldn't be a reason to eliminate him like that.

@@markgroglio9922 I didn't follow the last film that closely in regard to the comments people made about his son in that film. So I didn't know that he was a hated character until recently. However, that is an easy explanation to get rid of a character. Besides, he would have been a lot older, so him going to vietnam wouldn't make sense unless he enlisted and joined up willingly. Didn't he drop out of college and stated that in the last film. That would have made him a bit older going by that. It doesn't make a lot of sense. Going by his character, if he had joined in the early days of that war, I don't think it would have fit his character at all. Wasn't he like a greaser or something.

I think this movie did it so outrages, far deeper in that feminist hate bonghole then even Brie Larson dared to tap into, that it probably will become the death of that trope from all the backlash. Harrison Ford... the spark and twinkle in his eyes from the opening scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark has long since vanished and he's now a grumpy old sack of shit that regrets he is still alive, the completed life complex and that's reflected in his on screen as well as real life persona. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is the most perfect casting choice coz after practically bankrupting MGM to *ahum 'modernize James Bond', she has returned to put the bulldozer to another action-adventure franchise. It's hinted at the end she's gonna have many more adventures to come, but it still remains to be seen if she may also bulldoze Tombraider to the ground or wether her career is over after this. It didn't poop out golden eggs for Brie Larson to say it mildly. Disney will probably put the movie as a tax write off never to be seen or heard of again after the bomb in the box. They got Hulu to worry about after all. The sad thing here is that there is a really good sort of Indy movie to tell about the antikythera mechanism (coz that's what the dial is a reference to), but this ain't it. If anything I'm horrified by the lack of creativity within Disney, but not surprised. Certainly not from Bobby Igor's divisified marxist communist and child sex supporter Disney.

Just got back from an early showing and it's quite possibly the worst in the indy series and one of the worst movies I've seen in a long time... Somehow it's worse than Kingdom of the Crystal skull and along with the writing, What they do to the character and its world, One of the single worst things they did to this movie was introduce Phoebe Waller Bridge to this franchise... What a hot mess. 🤦♂️
Can’t wait to watch phoebe waller bridge overtake the SWM Indiana Jones and show the world that “their” time is done! As long as the right message is being sent, I don’t care how good the writing/acting is!!! Who else is with me!!! Like and comment!
