Thanks for the opportunity to share a bit about myself on your fantastic channel. I know that this project of yours is going to educate a lot of people about vision loss and cool emerging technologies that can help us live the most productive and independent lives. KUDOS!

+Deborah Ambro-Crandell i am also visually impaired due to the same thing i have had Uveitis since i was 3 i am 15 now and I've had over 43 surgeries to try and save my vision i used to have good vision to the point that i could have been able to drive but a year ago during a surgery they made a mistake and i now have lost a huge amount of my vision so i am still dealing with a lot of that anger and frustration and stuff it makes me feel better knowing that someone else has gone through the same thing and stuff really inspirational thank you .

I agree with you both that having a visual impairment does help us to learn not to judge so much based on people’s appearance.

I have Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis as well as Uveitis and in January of 2018 I developed an Iritis. 💚❤️💚❤️💚❤️ ❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚 I also have a long history of disabilities like Cerebral Palsy and Retinopathy Of Prematurity and shunts. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 In 2008 I had surgery on my left hip because of hip displasa. In 2014 I was diagnosed with Osteonicrosis and Osteoarthritis. In 2016 I had to have my right hip replaced. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 I've been through over 50 brain surgeries and a lot more but I am doing great today. ❤️💜💙💚

Wonderful interview! How are the two of you doing today (after several years have passed)? I notice you haven't posted a video in about 4 years. This always makes me wonder if depression or defeatism eventually won out. Maybe you just moved on to other things too.

I am also visually impaired I have a form of Macular Degeneration I was diagnosed in 2008 I am a 20/60 in the left and 20/40 in the right I have 4 holes in each retina some days I get angry and feel down and some days in ok with it I sure would love to have someone to talk to nice video

So insightful! I loved this!!! I guess I've never known any different since I was born visually impaired, had a brain tumor that stretched my optic nerve so it can't even really be fixed either... at least not yet. But I do what I can with what I have, trying to get a job in graphic design, I'm pretty good from what people say.
