Have you ever felt as if your feelings or emotions were compelling you beyond your better judgement, especially when it comes to love?
Maybe you experienced butterflies in your stomach, when you met your last partner, only to watch that fiery relationship crash and burn.
As a result, you might find yourself thinking, “I don’t think my intuition is all that great, it's what got me into this mess!”

“Are all butterflies bad? What about ‘gut intuition?’ How do I know if my nervous system is being triggered in survival mode, when it comes to my attachment relationships, versus having a genuine intuitive sense about someone that may or may not be good for me?”

The combo of the two things: chakras and survival modes was very enlightening. Especially for a self check in. It would be helpful if you could break it down even further and discuss survival mode within each of the chakras. For example: how to deal with survival mode with the 3rd eye. How to recognize it, deal with it, self eval questions to ask yourself to work yourself OUT of that survival mode within that area. Also maybe ideas on what to do it you are in survival mode within multiple chakras? Doing this might help people realize why they have trust issues, are fearful of becoming vulnerable, why they run from relationships or push people away when relationships get to a certain point. Just my thoughts. But just the awareness aspect is a start. Feels like the what to do about it now question??? is what would help people. Knowing is great. But recognizing and being able to take steps to change oneself is a whole other thing. Enlightening to say the least! This was a good one! Your pace was a little more slowed which helps too. Thank you!

Thank you for your lesson. Walking us through the 7 chakras reminds me of a video exercise you once did with a visualization & a beautiful sounding bell. You had us draw a picture outline of our body. And, you has us imagine a worst possible relationship outcome, "drop it in on top of our head", and feel where it settles in our body (mine settled in my stomach). You had us draw a small sketch of that worst possible outcome on the part of our body the image settled into. You then had us imagine a best possible relationship outcome, "drop it in on top of our head", and then feel where it settles in our body (my image settled higher up on top of my heart). You then had us draw a small sketch of what that outcome looked like on the part of our body that the image settled into. Briana, do you recollect in which one of your videos you included this exercise? It was one of your best videos demonstrating healing arts therapy, and I wanted to share it with a friend.

Your explanation of survival mode using the chakras framework made so much sense to me. I see how I'm in survival in so many parts of my life. I knew your message made sense because my therapist also said I don't always see the different degrees. I have a "Black or White/All in or all out" approach. Thank you for this video and for providing a different way to understand what's showing up in my relationships.

I liked what you said about the "energetic armor" ...definitely makes sense, everyone always says i look like im cold and shivering, shrinking...and i wear the layers to hide myself. Thank you, Briana

@@brianamacwilliam.attachment I have fibromyalgia, so it means my body is constantly in survival/ fight or fight mode. I also have open heart attachment style. I'm wondering how to tell the difference in regards to recognizing which I'm feeling since I always feel survival mode symptoms. Everyday is exhausting! Surprise! My partner is rolling stone... I'm just effed aren't I?😆
