This is exactly my thought when I'm watching Andrzej' reviews. If you don't test the limit of the bikes how can you compare it with the others? This is also the reason I almost never watch other reviewers. They used to talk bullshit about the specs and technical staff through the 80% of the video, but you never see them being even close to 100% utilization of this fantastic technologies they are so pleased with.
Top motorcycle reviewer on RU-vid! Always exciting. Never boring. Mandatory wheelies (unlike other bike reviewers). I've been following since the Honda CB650R video. Kipidap!
The beautiful thing about this review is that one can actually feel hom much fun it was to ride the bike. I really think it's hard to beat this cost/benefit-ratio and with the money saved, one can always fix the little aesthetic issues ;-)
@@minicopilot1 I have a deal with dealer that if bike wont suit me after test ride they ll give me back my advance payment . But to be honest I dont see any better eqiuped bike in this category.

And while I can see the reasons why you gave it some negative points as well I gotta say that I was laughing a little when you complaining the electronics were interfering with the Stoppies.. I mean sure they probably are but that seems like a pretty niche issue 😂😂😂 I think most people don't even wheelie and even fewer people ever try a stoppie. But maybe that's just the casual rider in me speaking, I'd be too scared haha 🥴 I do agree though! A separate mode for that and a motocross ABS option would be a great addition to the system! Even if niche 😂 thanks for making this!
You're right about the wheelie control slowly bringing the front wheel down when it's on the first setting. I've yet to disable it but I'm pretty keen to see how it goes.
Cannot really understand why they left those ugly front wires and the ring bell exposed without being properly covered. Overall a great looking bike but they should have kept the previous front light which cover properly all the wires. Also underneath the seat there are some parts which look unfinished and left exposed and the engine being smaller than the previous one has a whole in the top section. Looks like the designers of the bike were a bit in a hurry to supply the project. They have made a lot of improvement but aesthetically the 2020 version it's much more refined.
@@Bugside You are right by law it needs to be there but this time yamaha instead to call the sound engineers they should have called some good sketcher to get it covered.
@@ukraptor1416 they say it's a "minimalist design" You know what I think? IMU, color dash, blipper and quick shifter and all electronics are expensive, so not to increase the price too much they cut down on fit and finish. No plastic under the seat to cover the regulator, no plastic around the radiator like most nakeds, no plastics covering the wires near the horn, etc

6:48 - 7:43 That feeling of front end stability is obviously a result of the geometry changes (39mm shorter forks that transfer more weight to the front); it doesn't have much to do with the slightly lighter engine or wheels. I liked the review, but you should have these basic technical concepts worked out, mate...
@@SIMPSONGAZU Everywhere: Motorcyclenews, Visordown, Bennetts BikeSocial, Revzilla... If you google "mt-09 2021 forks" followed by the name of the publication you can easily find the articles (if not give me an email address and I'll send them to you - I've shared the links two times already but the comments get deleted). I've also seen tons of French and Spanish press videos and they *all* mention the shorter forks.

Handling is much better because it has new geometry!! Much shorter forks which makes the world of difference. I thought you should know this...lighter wheels or engine has almost no effect
Seems a great upgrade regarding mechanics and electronics... but I will keep my 2019 for a while just for its looks. When Yamaha fixes the looks and general aesthetics, I will consider upgrading it.
You're a crazy good rider, how did you build up to having the confidence to bully a bike like this to do what you want it to? I just got one a week ago, haven't been able to go for a proper ride yet but will later today, I'm not scared of the bike but I think I'm going to leave wheelie, traction and slide control on level 2 for a while, this is the most powerful bike I've owned and also the most expensive, I'd be really angry with myself if I dropped it let alone crashed it. I've been riding a 2017 sv650 since 2017 and 7 years before that had a brand new sv1000 which I never really got good at riding before I went into a corner too fast and locked the brake up in a panic and low sided it.
Sounds like a great bike but that headlight position is just awful. All they needed to do is position it lower like they did on the MT07 and it would've been fine.
Great your skill 👌 amazing riding . From model to model will be improvement and the motor bike will get better and better I have a 2019 mt09 and I love it and I wish I could have the look of my 2019 in the body of the 2021 that will make me sell mine however I love my motorbike and I am going to skip this new model and maybe wait for the next one . Is going to be interesting what people has to say in a years time I hope loads of good stuff as still a MT09 ❤️
Seat was ok, I went with high speed only for short time, hit few corners and it seemed to be ok. Got to check this again when bike will be in my country
Wygląda super mimo tego dziwnego nosa ;) Jak wrażenia w porównaniu z konkurencją z UK, tj. Street Triplem? Pamiętam że w zeszłym roku go testowałes, więc jestem ciekaw opinii. Street czy Mt?
@@SIMPSONGAZU Moze zle sie wyrazilem. Czy Twoim zdaniem nowy model yamahy deklasuje konkurencje i zostawia w tyle inne motocykle, czy tez motocykle sa dalej podobne,a roznice w sumie bardzo subtelne? ;-)
With previous model I always recommended SP, cause stock was too soft even for the streets. Now if you don’t have plans to go for track days from time to time you can go for stock one :)
@@SIMPSONGAZU Thanks for reply Andrzej.Sadly I can't have 2 bikes.Does new Mt09 have better suspension then old model?I had test ride old Mt09 before lockdown and I must admit front felt kind of rubbish.
