Nice video. For the electrical clip on the alternator, does yours click in or is it more of a suction and pressure clip. Mine does not click and is seated well but if I forcefully pull it, it will unseat.
according to Williston Audio Labs Dyno on this amp, it can pull major amperage. I know playing music may not see those super high amp draws like a test tone but i wanted the extra head room anyway. Nothing wrong with having an extra 80 amps for any future upgrades.
@@cscott9141 in older jeeps im pretty sure the ecu doesn't do that just the newer jeeps if not its easy to disable it via fuse or whipping a computer out, in my 97 wrangler the ecu does nothing but tell the injectors to work lol
I have a 2012 wrangler with a 600 watts amplifier and it pulls enough amperage to cause a misfire to my jeep. It causes a p2311 code to come on. Yes I have new coil packs and it happens with them. A bigger alternator should prevent that issue from happening.
