As someone who was born and raised in SD, I have to say it has changed a lot. I know exactly the town you are refereeing to and it used to be MUCH more relaxed (more like a lazy beach town). They took everything affordable out of SD to accommodate the tourists and transplants from other states and it kills me daily 🙃

Thank you Josh for experiencing different food while coming to California. I live in Cali in an agricultural area and I can promise you LA does not represent all of California. Yes! Born and raised in the Central Valley and even though I live just a couple hours from LA , it’s a vastly different way of living. We’re a slow pace and tight knit community. I could never live in LA lol.

Love your story times😂 I’m so sorry about Roni. 😢but you gave him the best life possible. And for JessFam….so much to say, but the major thing that bothered me was her only taking one child. I can see taking children out separately to a movie or to eat, to have bonding time and make them feel special. But she took ONE child across the WORLD! I can’t imagine anyway the siblings would not be resentful. But she’s not trying to build a family, she wants to build a brand. It’s very sad.

The Taco Stand locations in SD County are LEGIT (if that's the place you are talking about). I am obsessed with that place---their corn especially. Also, their salsa station. Their Horchata and churros are also the BEST I've ever had.

Also, I’m in SoCal too. We have Eloteros, they are ppl who walk pushing carts along the street or parks and they make elote right in front of you.! You can chill at the park and eat elote 😂
