Thanks brother, not only a black version of the hdp50, but a couple other black versions. I’m not sure if we’ll be able to get them in the states yet, and I am definitely working on it.

Thank you for spending your time making these great videos! I have a request, could you do a teardown showing all the parts and mechanisms, perhaps upgrades? Something as the viceos for HDR68 and HDX I believe it was. Again, thanks for the informative and entertaining videos.

I own the Hatsan AT44 long pump action rifle. The thing is a tank, very heavy. So I gorilla-glued a handle to the pump action stock at the front and ever since then it's much better balanced so i can attest to the benefits of adding a grip near the front of the gun!

I actually spoke to Hatsan at ShotShow! I'm hoping to get some of their PCP rifles on the channel soon! I would also love a grip and if I can't fit one, I may design a grip for it. :) Thanks for watching!

Great video! I actually just bought one! It's only the 6.5 Joules. Do you have the link for the mod by any chance? Also...how would you recommend installing a foregrip for it so I can shoot it without catching that feeder? I agree its not the best setup..they could have at least made it beefier underneath for more hand room.

Hey John! I have an upgrade video coming soon for them. (Its long overdue) A foregrip is pretty easy given the rail placements. Ill see if I can add that in as well.

What size HPA tank were you all thinking, 13ci or 10ci? I had seen a gentleman with stock holding a 88gr co2.

The HDB is the strongest umarex gun when fully modded. I've seen up to 78 joules out of an HDB. Which is insane in comparison to all the others

@@justinhalethesenuts7769 Yep, I also had a couple other ideas for 3-D printed accessories that would make this even more efficient. I suspect this is going to be a long-term project :-)

@@justinhalethesenuts7769 Yeah, these are nuts. When I was a shotshow, I also spoke to a vendor that exclusively makes projectiles. This also gave me a couple other interesting ideas for this weapon, since it will not, in its stock form, fire shaped projectiles. Like I said, long-term project :-)

You can use the Mcs Hpa adapter so won’t need to use a 12 gram.

Hmmm on Umarex site they claimed 490 fps! - unless its the new edition?? Hay if you're an Entrapeneur I'd love to be able to purchase compressed helium cartridges in standard 12g - the tests are incredible! Some are more than doubling the velocity and with 12g you could utilize it in any co2 type weapon -

Great gun but that spring pin is a HUGE engineering flaw… having that right where your hand goes… I think that is a pretty big problem…, I bought it, and I’m gonna grind the knob down when it gets here so it’s more flush. I’ll just use a Alan key tip to push it up when reloading, this device isn’t a fast reloader anyway, so I’d rather that, might be a good idea for you to do as well

@@AlternateArmsSD i know that the HDX is a pump, but they still couldve had some sort of similar hidden feeding system in the HDB. OR, just use a freaking spring fed magazine or gravity fed clip!!! That would make everything easier!! Am I wrong? They could just use a racking bolt system with a magazine too. All these would work. One quick rack on the left side above the trigger, and youre good to go. Maybe even design the Rack to Also puncture the C02 as well. And be a two in one loading mechanism

It did indeed!! I noticed that if I held that loading bar back, and pulled the trigger.. it released several in one shot OR misfired completely. The design of that loading mechanism is a bit annoying. Once you got used to it, it wouldn't be an issue but it surprised me at first! Thanks for watching!

@@AlternateArmsSD yes sir! and also turning the launcher upside to reload one by one round after finishing 16rds may annoy me in stressful situations. Any way whilst on that point and without deviating too much from your review, which can you recommend between this HDB and byrna TCR I.r.o carry in the car, fast draw and deploy, co2 replacement and of course reload, weight etc. I might be comparing apple with tomato here (smile) but this is important to me and as always your honest feedback will be appreciated 🤔

@@JH-te9gd it’s been my experience that if you remove the valve block you’re going to get about 12 shots out of it before you run out (If you’re using the C02 restrictor). You can stretch that if you give it a second or two between shots to re-pressurize.

The camera doesn’t properly represent the sounds. They actually hit very hard. And, they have the added ability to be upgraded easily. :-) That video is coming soon.
