The more I look at the Rane twelves MKII the more it makes sense. The cost of a decent turntable a cartridge etc and a Phase essential pack costs more than the Rane Twelve and it's less hassle especially if your'e not interested in playing vinyl. You got me thinking Rane!!

i been owning Phase since Day #1, 2018 when Released, besides all the updates and improvements that they worked on at Phase, the Audio devices are Great!!!, much better than using needles, no worries about Some bumping turntables while DJJING, Phil u are Awesome with your in depth Live Talks👍🏾😅🤓✌🏾✊✊Salute DigitalDjTips

U learn a lot but yes Virtual DJ has there own radio station when u go live on there software so yes they got there own station. Other then that Rane doing big things I am enjoy it :)

Hey Phil, did mixcloud do something to the software, I’ve noticed there’s no go live button, and you don’t have to get a new stream key.

They are not really comparable - one is a turntable with Midi buttons, the other is a controller. You cannot play records on the Rane.

Rane needs to make the headphone output louder on the Rane 72 mixer. They also need an option to disable the crossfader. Not everyone uses the 72 for battling.

Digital DJ Tips Denon just came out with their new firmware on all Prime series gear and they did both of those things on the new firmware upgrade 1.5

so though the Rane seventy two is a bit more mixer than i need i am pleased to see the cross .fader tension adjust.My god .Dj worx are pretty grudging when reviewing what has been a highly successful product range.This gear had its faults but these updates have dealt with many of those issues.I liked the 12s but the dvs option opening them up to Traktor,VDJ ,etc and letting you use the mixer of your choice is a great move.No wonder dj worx is retiring .When these came out and when these improvements happened he acted like someone stabbed him in the heart.Its ok not to like gear but i had a hard time understanding why.

Probably only the same as how much I hate the Technics 1210 Mk7... each reviewer is entitled to his/her opinion I guess.. (mind you that turntable IS rubbish, lol - IMHO!)

Still no 8x performance pads? you still have to reach over to the back of the deck to activate hot cues on a very short touch strip which is only separated by a RGB L.E.D sliver of light and 2 small raised bumps which are the same colour as the touch strip and invisible in a dark booth. More functionality with extra buttons and a encoder is great but why place them right where you rest your hand to ride the pitch? Check out this mock up instagram.com/p/Bmot-03lGE2/?
