I am glad the prosecution is finally objecting when Prior is testifying, leading the witness, or misstating the facts. It was getting on my nerves that they let him get away with that for so long.

How great is it that Heather Daybell; the person who “has been a problem for CD his whole life” is the one that hammered that strong nail into his coffin. I watched Heather’s lengthy interview with HTC and I think she is of exemplary character. It is striking how much her testimony aligns with her interview. I would cry too if he moved into my neighborhood.

I think it is awesome that there is so much interest in trials today. Cameras should be in all courtrooms. There should be full transparency always.

key points against Chad Daybell- 1-two dead children buried in his yard-the texts about the children- and turning the pain up...(texts wife about shooting and burying a raccoon the night of JJ's burial) 2) the children belonged to his new wife 3) the texts about the kids being dark and zombies 4)rating Tammy Dark and a zombie named "Viola"- the lies about the night she died to her friends-inconsistencies... 5) promises from chad to Lori that Tammy wasn't long to this world 6) the texts about his love for Lori and his plan for a life with her 7) getting married to the mother of the dead children 17 days after his wife died.. but the biggest take we have is this- THAT "BLESSING" TO ALEX". where he thanks Alex for everything... what did Alex do for he and Lori? hmmmmmm? well it wasn't bake them cookies.....

The only bright spot- she did not get a single penny of her husbands life insurance. Makes me smile big- every time I hear it!!!

It’s creepy that Lori sounds like a 19 year old bratty gal. Meanwhile, she’s an almost 50 year-old woman. Creepy!

I think when Lori found out she wasn’t getting the life insurance money , it really triggered her she was furious! That alone says a lot.

Chad in the police car talking to his daughter said everything.

Thank God Charles switched his life insurance beneficiary!! He obviously knew how unhinged Lori was getting!! What a selfish horrible person she is.

Heather Daybell is a force to be reckoned with. She saw the writing on the wall and, like Charles Vallow, her warnings were ignored.

Just like when Chad gaslit the woman who he first said the Lorie's daughter died. Later he tried to convince the woman he never said it. The woman stood up to him.

Wow Chad and Lori aren’t as smart as they think they are. The fact they left within 24 hours of this …speaks volumes. They knew she was married to Chad already.

What about Melanie Boudreaux? She had to know a lot. She was living next door to Laurie.

He was pinged as being home. There was a bonfire on his tiny property. HE is guilty.

His own Mom said she had questions about Loris kids and said he lied to her!! He talked about Tylee in past tense! When your own Mother thinks your guilty thats bad. He is done. One thing we all know now is Lori and Chad are liars, that is proven beyond a doubt. Innocent people dont lie!

The Rexburg police has the voice recording on 11/25/19 when they approached Chad Daybell and Alex Cox. Where Chad says he’s only friends with Alex and doesn’t know Lori that well. So we know even Chad lied to police about being married already to Lori!!

Heather’s testimony gave proof that Chud was promoting his beliefs and tried to groom people way before he even met Lori.

The most telling connection is that Chad was right there talking to Melanie G - right after this interaction with the police - and asking her to lie. I am sure the jury will get that

Chad Daybell had a dead wife in his bed with him and two dead kids buried on his property. That settles it for me.

I think Pryor attacking the cops is frankly pissing jurors off, for attacking the detective. They hadn't contacted Chad YET,

I think when Prior asked the officer about checking Melony Gibbs phone records, and the officer responded "not at this time", I think the officer meant not at the time he was talking to Lori, not "at this time" of the present. I could be wrong though. Also noticed how Prior gets so worked up, he starts speaking stupidly, yelling and testifying himself. He needs a chill pill.

14:25 When the cops are asking each other about tammy dying is the *only* time lori doesn't chime in. Not weird at all.

She is so nonchalant about her “horrible year!”

Notice how when the officer asked if that’s the same Chad Daybell whose wife passed away recently, Lori stayed quiet??

But even if they just find him guilty on conspiracy, he is done. Conspiracy to murder carries the same penalty as murder in Idaho.

Does she say “she wanted us to adopt him, and we did, and we LOVED him”?!?! Wild that she’s spreading lies in past tense AND doesn’t sound “insane”.

His sister in law Heather also spoke how Chad was like this long before Lori came along. She was very damning to his case.

She then lied about the incident to her boyfriend, her family and police, Fouser said. However, the woman testified before Prior took his plea that she refused when he offered her a job and help with the custody case in exchange for having sex with him, the Associated Press reported earlier. The state attorney general’s office prosecuted the case.

Chad texted Lori WE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN RID OF HIM SOONER"when they found out Charles changed beneficiaries.

To me the biggest puzzle piece is the text chad sent to Tammy about burning brush and burying a raccoon. That’s what led them to finding the kids on his property. When I heard that in Lori’s trial, that’s all I needed to hear.

Also to note- there is death around her w her husband mentioned -then mentioning All these family members trying to kill her BUT she never seeks help! To the cops at her door! Who could help! 🤦🏻‍♀️

As someone who knows the “other” brother, who couldn’t be a more average, normal, kind human, it is so gross to hear her claim he and Charles were trying to kill her for life insurance. The irony is real, but maybe that’s why the lies came so easily: when you know what you’re up to, it’s easy to project.

I think they also had Chads mother testify because she confirmed that Chad said Lori’s daughter had passed. So makes Pryor harder to claim that he believed she was being kept somewhere for her safety. He knew she was dead. Wasn’t news to him.

“…my brother’s friend Chad” is as good a lie as the one Chad told the funeral home when he was pricing cremation. “My name is Chad. Uhhh, Chad DABAL.” Way to throw them off.

See? Even when the cops ask Lori who was the other guy with your brother, she says, I was at the store, stalling to think of what to say imo

Also, it doesn’t matter who else was involved- doesn’t matter if there were 10 other people involved- it does NOT eliminate the fact Chad was involved. Hence the reason for the charges of conspiracy.

She's proving that people who LIE talk too much, adding unnecessary details to bolster their stories.

Chad checked the wind direction that day AND texted Tammy about shooting and burying a racoon in their pet cemetery and burning limbs before they got wet!

These detectives have proven to be very thorough and detailed. If they thought Melanie or David were involved they would've looked into them.

The fact that Lori and Chad felt comfortable asking Melanie Gibb to take photos of random children at the theatre, speaks volumes of Melanie’s involvement in this.

Gibb gave LE permission to look into her phone. They didn’t need a warrant.

Wonder in their quiet moments did they ever doubt what they were doing? I can’t fathom thinking this is ok

The moment they found out about Melanie G she started talking to them. She sat with police in AZ MULTIPLE TIMES and started throwing them all under the bus. She made a better witness than accomplice. She was able to fully breakdown all the crazy religious aspects also.

The strangest thing to me is Prior is trying to make out the police didn’t do their job properly, but the children were already dead by then, actually all the victims were dead by then so doesn’t matter if they acted immediately or later they couldn’t save anybody at that stage.

I bet she’s mad about the insurance money, she says it with so much emotion.

And cops DO NOT HAVE to record THEIR OPINIONS

I will never understand how Lori and Chad believe they could kill 4 individuals and move to Hawaii, then live off the Social Security money and Tammy’s insurance money.

If I was on the jury, I would vote against Pryor. He is not convincing. He’s rude and condescending.

The thing is, if melanie fibb and david are in this thicker than they've said, it doesn't matter , it doesn't change Chads role in this.

Nobody gave police the location of the kids. LE followed Alex’s phone pings to Chad’s backyard, within feet of where JJ was buried. Chad’s incredibly weird text about shooting raccoons and burning tree limbs was another hint.

I have worked for Child Protective Services in CA. They have sent me with wellness checks to find and look for and identify that child. Usually the police went with us.

She gave out to much information when the cops went out there. Simple questions from the officers and then she goes on a rampage good job, shot herself in the foot. She was nervous and scared. In our favor!

Naw… the state asking if Davids or Mel’s kids were found in Chads backyard was the right question. If they would have asked what you think is the better question, “were David or Mel’s kids found in their own backyards,” then the State has to confirm if they ever actually checked David or Mel’s backyards and Prior can easily get the witness to say “no, we didn’t actually check their backyards,” and Prior can say, “so you don’t know if anyone is buried in David or Mel’s backyards…?” It leaves too much open. The State was correct on their question.

I absolutely loathe how Prior says "Okay" like a parent who's trying to find out where the 15 yo got the beer. UGH. He comes across as a pretentious a-hole.

Please explain to me why the judge allows Pryor to continue to be hostile, sarcastic, accusatory and just plain damn nasty to the witness's.

Heather’s testimony showed Daybell’s beliefs were in place BEFORE he met Vallow or Gibb or Warwick. This undercuts Prior’s attempts to blame it all on Vallow & Cox. Vallow has succeeded in life by lying. She thinks she’s smarter than anyone in the room. I think Daybell searching for the wind direction on Sept 8 will be important during deliberations. It surely would be important to me if I was a juror. Prior pointing to Gibb is soooo tiresome !! Rob Wood did an excellent job of squelching Prior’s attempts to point to Gibb when Wood refers to the geo-fence and why LE chose to pursue more information for certain accounts. Police DID call Daybell … just not this officer.

I can't even understand how these people thought they could have gotten away with these crimes! It really burns me when people use religion to justify their actions. I'm not LDS, (nor were they) but I hate the shame they've brought to this faith. I will never understand killing innocent children and spouses. This trial is a waste of time. He's so guilty.

The defense isn’t casting any doubt in my mind by asking the investigator about Melanie (not investigating her)…because we already know JJ wasn’t located in her possession, he was located in CHAD’S yard!!! Chad is cooked and the defense is annoying.

Her ability to lie so quickly is astonishing. Also can you imagine being a grown woman and talking like that?

It makes me feel that either they missed the ball or what I hope is that they are either holding that information or investigate after getting Lori and Chad so they can use her in these trials then go after her? Is that even possible?

Melanie Gibb and Zulema Pastenis got Immunity because they agreed to testify against Lori and Chad, if they didn’t testify against them then they would also be charged in this case …

Speaking of trials, I am forever shocked that the Joel Guy Jr. case and trial haven't been talked about or covered more. I live where Chad is from and yes it's a crazy case, but Joel had his mother's head cooking on the stove when the cops come in on their body cams. He put his parents in Walmart totes and was trying to liquidfy them which is also on the body cam. Then during the trial Joel nearly falls asleep out of boredom!!! Yall need to check it out.

I feel like I’m really learning so much about “scope” and being outside and inside of it in this particular trial than any others we’ve watched.
