I have been depressed for almost 4 years. The doctor gave me medication and recommended exercise. I've tried exercise in many ways. Until I found Body Project videos and try to follow. I have been enjoying exercise and exercising continuously for 3 months now. I'm feeling good for my body, myself. And the doctor is slowly reducing the medication for me. Thank you for making these great exercise video.
Hello, I tell you this... I know the feeling, like you I've really depressed and under medications and therapy. I also ended up twice at ER with panic attacks. But exactly medications are good for certain time. Not to depend on them. Happy for you even though what you are going through to be depressed. You are not alone. Keep exercising please.
I like what you did in your exercise routine because it is like you are dancing , I don't feel bored co'z I enjoyed. Hope you will make more exercises fun like dancing... :)

I am a 12 y/o boy and I followed your low impact cardio since I'm obese and now my current weight is 88.1kg. I'm on my journey to normal weight and your excersize is really fun and I enjoyed it so so much!❤️
wow, I 'm cheering for you. You are one year older than my own son . As for me, I gave up exercise so many times, but I try to get back to it always. There is that saying , in my country ( Romania) that says something like " doesn't matter how many times you fall down as long as you stand up again in the end " . I was over 300 pounds and I was never comfortable going to the gym. I started my weight loss journey in March and I’m now down 40 pounds because your workout videos make it so comfortable to work out too. I enjoy doing them in my kitchen. Thank you so much for the great videos
Daniel, please don't ever stop your speeches at the end of your workouts. Sometimes, they are exactly what I need to hear. I felt discouraged and frustrated with myself and my body that I let myself go for so long that now even finishing a workout at home is a challenge. Then you said, "getting it right with exercise is important but it is never as important as the relationship you have with movement and...with loving your body. For lack of a better term...loving this thing that shares this life with you". I gave my body a big hug :) I may not be able to run a 10k by the end of this month but I know that I can commit to this 3-4 times a week and then go on from there. :)

not to be dramatic or anything but y’all absolutely changed my life. for the first time in I don’t know how long, I don’t get winded going grocery shopping, I don’t dread standing up for long periods of time even in the shower, I feel GREAT about getting up and moving my body every single day, and that is thanks to you guys ❤️

I love doing this workout. I have a couple favorites with you guys but this one is definitely top tier. I’ve actually cried at the end of a couple of them. I appreciate that there’s no shame in having to take breaks and there’s no shame in whatever level you’re starting. Much appreciated from my heart.
I don't imagine you still read every comment, but I did want to share that I have been doing these workouts 5 days a week for the past 3 months, and I feel like I have finally found something that works for me. I still have quite the journey to go, but I am so grateful for these videos.
Awww I am proud of you! To be honest, I feel this! I have struggled with finding a routine that suits my lifestyle and something that I will still find enjoyable and worthwhile months later and this workout is it :) its so much fun! I do them 4-5 times a week as well and I still have 30lbs to go but I am down nearly 20lbs..! I am grateful for the videos as well!
This workout is just my level. I've been a gym member for many years, especially since I retired, and I miss it. But I know that if I don't keep moving, I will no longer be able to. At 87, I'm too young to give up. Theresa

I’m a 73 year old woman who is 24/7 caregiver for my husband who has advanced Parkinson’s. I can go into a back bedroom with my iPad and enjoy your workouts . The endorphin rush is so good for stress and I feel completely rejuvenated. No dressing up for the gym no traveling and no $$$ . Love your variety , I never get bored. Always a challenge. Hi Alex and Daniel! Body Project is my companion this quarantine. I started 92 days ago and I am working out twice a day. I already lost 23kilos (50pounds) and from Obese Class 3, I am now Obese Class 1. Thirteen more kilos and I will be free from the classification. I feel really great! I have never commented before but since Daniel said they read all comments here I go. I've been working out with you guys for over 2 months (since quarantine started) and honestly I never knew it would mean so much to me. I started just doing 10 minutes of the videos, because my body just couldn't do more than that, but with days going by I was able to do more and more and now I always finish the workout completely. I've lost 7kg so far and my body improves every day. Now the 30 minutes fly by and I'm surprised when we arrive to cool down. Honestly thank you so much, Daniel is honestly so charismatic and his cheering and motivation speeches motive me SO MUCH, please do never stop them. I never knew I could enjoy exercising but here I am. Very grateful.
I have never commented before either but feel this exercise session is one of the best I've attended in 40 odd years. It feels so liberating to be able to exercise again after being dormant for a year or so with FM I can't express my gratitude enough for getting me back into movement. I have an up hill battle with my 62 yr old body not being kind to me but have no pain will exercising. Adding the music into this session was great, it made the 30 minutes go by so fast. Since Daniel said you guys read all the comments, I just wanted to say that Body Project has been so helpful for me since quarantine. My university gym has been closed and I never felt comfortable running in my neighborhood or doing things at another gym in town. Body Project videos are the most fun and inclusive at-home workout videos I've ever come across. The routines are fun and the participants are people that look like me. Not to mention how Daniel and Alex focus on doing my own personal best and 'loving movement'. As someone who didn't like working out before, this idea has been extremely helpful. My mom and I both love these videos and it has brought us together even more in these tough times. Thank you Body Project for being fun, engaging, inclusive, realistic, and kind to everyone regardless of their workout level. This channel really means a lot to me. I am not going to cry as I write this. From my whole heart, thank you for creating these/this video. I needed to hear your message today. My body has been grieving as our family lost two loving family members in one week. It’s been disheartening and my mind, heart, and body has been worn out due to the travels, funeral/memorials, and shedding tears; therefore today is the first time I worked out since last Thursday. I decided I must get back up, stand up and move again. Today I watched this video for the first 5 mins then rewind and joined in. It was difficult but I kept moving then noticed I created a smile on my face. I’m grateful for you both. Please keep being genuine and know I and many others sincerely appreciate what you’re doing. Hello Daniel and Alex. I got home from work super tired but decided to commit to my workout and try this one for the first time. It took me a little while to find my own pace but boy I was dancing with you two by the end of the video.
I appreciate what you do and say about movement and the relationship with our bodies! I found your videos while looking for a low impact alternative while going through cancer treatment recently. I have had a stroke that paralyzed my right side when I was 18 and fought my way back with hard work and faith. Then this cancer has recently effected my mobility again with lymphodema of one leg and weakness from the stroke on the other. My right arm and hand does not have full range of motion either. I've had 4 open heart surgeries too. I tell you all this to say that when you talk about adapting, moving, saying "don't worry about staying with the beat just do your best" and "doesn't it feel good just to move in this body", I feel like your speaking to me and all of us that just have to try everyday. I decided to start moving my body more this summer. But, I'm older and found other cardio videos are a little too much for me right now. This is an easy on the joints and knees half hour exercise program I actually can do and feel good afterwords

It's been 6 weeks since I decided that it's time for me to start living healthy. I've been overweight for 4 years and most days I would rather stay at home bscause I didn't have the confidence to go out anymore. So one day, I decided that I don't want to be that person anymore. I started searching RU-vid for beginner's workout and that's when I found Team Body Project. Coupled with exercise and low carb diet, I was able to lose 15lbs since then. I still have a long way to go, but thank you Team Body Project for being a part of my jouney! P.S. I agree with some of the comments here, this by far is my favorite as well.
I'm 63 years old and starting to take care of my body. Long story. My daughter has been doing your workouts for several years and I would watch! haha Today was my first day to do it myself. I hope you read this. You say you do, so I hope that’s true. I love your workouts. Your motivation seems to come at the perfect moments for me. I used to dance and was pretty athletic and active. I’ve been battling MS for 12 years and as my condition worsened, so did my ability to do a lot of workouts. I’d get frustrated that I couldn’t do the workouts I used to and my body moves differently and with difficulty. I felt ashamed and frustrated whenever I tried other workouts and the instructors say “this is easy.” I went through a pretty intense treatment called HSCT for my MS which damaged my adrenals glands but stopped the disease progression. Before that though, I was on IV steroids every 3 months for 5 days for 3 years and blew up. I cannot lose this weight and I hated myself...but happy that I still had what I had and tried to stay grateful. There is grief though. The workouts and motivation is JUST what I need. I’ve been working out with you every day for a month. I feel good. I feel happy. Your comment about building a relationship with my busy impacted me cause I’m so incredibly frustrated by it. If it were a person, it would be a toxic, abusive relationship. I couldn’t use my right leg, so I learned how to drive with my left. I couldn’t write, so I recorded everything. I adapted....But exercise was something that I couldn’t tackle and and figure out adaptions without being really frustrated with myself. ....Until I found your workouts. So thank you for your words, your motivation, making workouts that I can do, and helping me restore my relationship with my body. I’d also note that there is a whole community of people with invisible illnesses or disabilities that may feel the same and are depressed. We can’t do P 90x or CrossFit or Orange Theory. But exercise helps with depression... how can we exercise when it’s so hard or “easy” when it’s really not for my community of people? Your exercises took all my frustrations away and I ENJOY it. I actually cried the first time I finished one cause I was so happy with myself. So I this long winded comment, I wanted to say thank you and I hope to lose what the medications have done to my body but gain a lot of respect for myself.
Colleen, please check out the work by Dr. Teri Wahls (a MS survivor and neurologist). Exercise along with her program is a life changer and can reverse MS symptoms. No gimmick, just info from a healthcare provider who happened to see your comment. Take care.
I truly hope Daniel's encouraging talks at the end never stop. I love them so much. They make me emotional and help me feel connected to my body and appreciative of it in a way most fitness instructors never even attempt to make you feel. So thank you for always going there! I actually really liked this work out. When I work out, even at home, I feel so ashamed and embrassed. A lot of the time, when its work out videos it's perfect body people trying to encourage you, but, really just putting pressure. Here we see fit people actually enjoying the work out and having fun. And not yelling at you to keep going. This felt nice. Im trying to get more fit, but have no stamina. This video went by fast! When doing a normal 10 minute video I feel every minute, in this it went by fast, and it was 3x that length. Thank you guys for making these videos
I’m back! I just fully recovered from Covid my symptoms were not as severe as others ( thank god ) Started your videos back in May and someone who hates to workout I love your videos simply because you motivate me and make me feel like it’s okay to go in my own pace. I cried on my 1st video that I actually went through the entire thing without stopping and now I’m crying today cause I made it through without stopping and it feels so good! I’ve just done this work out and although hard for me I enjoyed it. I love Body Project since discovering you at the start of lockdown. I’m 73, diagnosed with a mild lung condition in January, and trying to improve both lung function and fitness. I try and do your workouts every other day but I don’t always manage it! Keep up the good work.

I just started working on myself on the Jan 1st. It’s Jan 8th. I’ve worked out with you guys for 6 days. And between that and eating better I’m down 13 pounds! I’m no longer in the 300# club! I feel you. I too struggled with bad eating habits and it led to overall low self-esteem. It wasn't until a couple people told me to my face that I was fat that I decided to make a change and eliminate all sugar and carbos from my diet. It was a radical and painful change from what I was used to, but I lost 40 pounds in 8 months without killing myself at the gym. Wherever you are in your journey, know that you are not alone. Keep making progress one day at a time. And if you mess up, don't be discouraged. You know what you need to do to get where you want to be. It's a journey and doesn't happen over night. But with steady comittment, you are going to see results.
The first cardio I've ever enjoyed coz you care about all types of bodies and not just the athletic ones that can move with easy. Il be coming back for more now

I’m not sure you realize how much sanity you’ve brought around the world during Covid. We’ve been stuck at home, nothing much to do and hard to work out. I’m north of 70, wear leg braces and have a variety of health issues. But doing workouts with you have kept some joy, laughter, and fun back during a bleak time. I wish I were closer to Australia and could meet you in person. You feel like friends.

Sometimes I cry during workouts but not for the reason I did this time. I love the speeches at the end, they truly do make me so grateful for the things my body is able to do. This was exactly what I needed. I’m recovering from a car accident from this past June and I’m dealing with herniations in my neck and lower back. I haven’t worked out in a very long time and need the low impact so this is perfect. I can’t do a lot of jumping either due to an old injury to my left foot. I was def sweating afterwards. Thanks for putting this out there.

My mom and I live 6 hours apart and due to her health issues and the threat of covid I haven’t been able to see her since February. Since we’ve been out of work we started doing workouts through video chats and you 2 have made this the best bonding time we’ve had in my 35 years. We talk everyday now and work out together this your help. Thank you so much for being our motivation. She’s had both knees replaced and is about to have hip replacement and has never been in better shape thanks to body project. It’s the perfect 30 min to start our day. My turn: I started with Team Body Project 4 months ago when Los Angeles shut down and my son's busy sports world was suddenly cancelled. The public health crisis took away my time to get in steps and fresh air while someone else (single mom here) was watching my son. Daniel has taught me that I always had it in me to do more movement than just taking a walk, the body sure is an amazing thing! Alex has taught me that I can, in fact, trust my body to a healthy limit of intensity, girl has got some serious energy! Together they have taught me to love exercise and the rewards it gives. Thank you, both. This single LA mommy has learned to reach for victory and be bombastic while covered in waterfalls of progress. Come on!
This was probably one of the most enjoyable workouts ever - didn't even realise I was putting my body through this because it was so fun; would love it if you did more dance-y type workouts!
i've struggled with my weight for many years because of hormonal issues. (hashi's + pcos.) i've also had a long history with depression, EDs, mental health issues in general... i'm beginning to learn to love my body and to enjoy movement, to enjoy healthy foods, and to learn what type of lifestyle works best for me. this is day 5 of working out with you guys and i feel fantastic! my quads are on fire for the last couple of days but alex knows how to tear them up hahaha. :) thank you for making these, i love that they're low impact, easy to modify, and don't require a ton of space! (i workout in a yoga mat sized area in my room.) thank you!

Thanks so much for these videos! A couple of weeks ago, I felt horrible with my body. I tried to lose the weight as fast as possible. I started getting into an eating disorder. Then I found this channel and have been loving every second of it! Something that stuck out to me was your motto "progress not perfection" and that is when I changed my attitude about my body.
