Hello everyone so here is a low level build preskyhold for everyone, so that you can get through those low levels the best way possible. By taking full advantage of stealth and flank attack with skirmisher so that you can take 0 damage, re-position and then kill any target you want.
In the video i show 2 builds, one for if you are playing solo, and another route for if you are playing with a party. I hope this helps you all early game as a rogue.
Also short movie at the end to enjoy :)

Almost 5 years late but here I am, playing the game for the first time. This video really helped me a lot to decide wich class to play with. I started with warrior but I think I'm gonna restart since I'm only 3-4 hours in the game because this class looks so great. Thank you for the clear explanation man!

That's a really sweet build. I used to try to work in Poisoned Weapons, but it often ended up consuming my stamina when I could have used it for something else. And I guess you can always let an archer party member do the poisoning for you anyway. REALLY digging the cinematic style!

This game is so fun and you can work the Rogue so many different ways it's crazy. I'm level 11 and i keep tweaking my build im going try this exact one.

Very helpful build. I think playing double daggers is one of the more difficult styles of playing the game early on, especially on nightmare. I've actually just recently begun researching the best daggers in the game. Hopefully, I can post a video shortly showing you my findings.

I played warrior on release, then mage on my second run through. I'm just now coming back to the game to prep for Dreadwolf and I can attest. Nightmare mode was never this hard when I wasn't playing rouge 😂

I just pucked up this game a few months ago. Your builds have helped me so much. Thanks Star. What about doing weapon builds to go with the class builds? Just a suggestion.

awesome that my builds have helped you. If a weapon is needed I'll usually say at some point what the weapon is or what stats you should get :) But I am planning to do gear videos to show off the "best" gear for classes.

I've played this game for years and there's still so many combat ways I need to explore. I've already tried Nightmare with a few trials using the 2H Champion Elf, now i want the pure DPS build with a DD Artificer (Elemental Mines, Spinning blades + Neverending spin & Throwing Knives + Precision hits). I feel like a Superb Corrupting + Superb Cleansing set of dagger runes, with the right Masterwork materials (Plush Fustian Velvet [hidden blades +5 hits], Silverite [+5 Guard on hit] & Imperial Vestment Cotton [+100% Weapon damage Walking Bomb]) would make this build insane with NM.FF.AT Difficulty. Now I know how to get there.

@@StarFlorge do you have to wait till lv 27 to respec to tempest tank or can you do it around 15? Im not knowledgable to understand what skills i can get by without with the tank build yet

So I am new, around lvl 7 Human and I am curious if I have my team set up to do allot of status effects wouldn’t the auto crits from the right side of the stealth tree be viable?

If your team is very focused on panic or sleeping then yes, however bosses and some elite mobs cannot get these status effects which then means the right side does nothing against some enemies. If you have the items to keep swapping build then you might want to swap between this and right side for normal enemies and bosses.

I feel archer is still more powerfull compared to dagger rogues. I'm playing as an archer now, but I will change to assassin soon enough. I tried to chance to dagger rogue in my playthrough and it was painfull.

Hello! What are the attributes and stats/gear needed for this build? I just started my very first Dragon age game so i am very new with the norm in gearing and stat priority :(. Also I want to ask if this is viable without the DLC?

As a rogue I would go for dexterity(increases attack for rogues only and gives critical damage bonus)and cunning(increases critical chance and gives ranged defense). Some people might disagree with this

As for stats on weapons I would go for critical chance and critical damage bonus. There are other stats like armor penetration and flanking damage bonus but critical chance and critical damage bonus are usually what I go for when I play rogue. In the end it's all up to you on what kind of stats you want on your weapons.

Kegg Alvarez Hello there. This is viable without dlc and as a low level rogue you don't need specific gear but as a rule of thumb you should go for atk% and dexterity. That's what I tend to do. The most important thing low level though is to get the highest base damage weapon, that's what really helps low level. I hope this helps a bit :D

How would you build an archer?

In a very similar style. If you are going archer do what i have done exactly but replace duel dagger spells for archery spells. So replace twin fangs for long shot, flank attack with leaping shot with the stealth upgrade, and then any time i spend duel dagger points, just put them into archery :) Hope that helps.

OlOlOlllOlOOl Not exactly sure as it's from a while back. normally if the daggers are essential I'll say. All I know is they will be tier 4 daggers. sorry I can't be of more help.

is tier 4 stuff generally available at low level or is it some kind of mod or DLC item? sorry if this is dumb question - my first time playing the game, just got it on sale.

OlOlOlllOlOOl You need the golden nug which I think is part of the trespasser dlc and that links every schematic to all character. only thing that isn't avaliable is tier 4 materials. in my next video which will be a low level one I'll be using lower tier materials to be more realistic :) hope that helps a bit.

This build is to be used up to lvl 12. After lvl 12 you will no longer be a low level and can then make other builds. Low level basically means lvl 1 - 12 in this case. Hope that clears things up :)

The "low" has nothing to do with power, it's about your characters level. Early game you are a "low level" character, later in the game you're a "high level" character. This low level build is made cause my other "high level" builds can't be done without being like lvl 20 etc. :)
