I love these but Funky Finger Productions is My favorite. The early Wayans comedy empire was gold, great sketches and the first few seasons had an incredible cast. DAG was so big in the success of the show.
"What courage it must have taken for little Spike Lee to take off them glasses and let that little hair get knotty....And say hey, this is me! Here I am! See me, love me!"
They also claimed that the "right thing" in Lee's film "Do the Right Thing" was coming out of the closet: "Do the right thing, come on out the closet, don't be afraid to be who you is."
‘What courage it must have taken for Lil Spike Lee to take off them glasses and let that little head get knotty.’ 🤣 Took. Me. OUT! 🤣. If you know, then you know.
"Who dropped the soap? I'll get it!" OMG, I've seen this a million times ever since it first aired and that breaks me up every single time! "Well, touch me in the morning and then just walk away!"
Touch me in the morning and then just walk away. These sketches were so funny. They would never be able to get away with it today. GLAAD would be all over them.
I didn't see that as the point, it's not about them being gay Bc their not it's the fact that they are doing a funny skit on being gay and the overly gayness and mocking it in some degree, he'll heterosexual people probably wouldn't let this kind of skit happen in today's world! " because we're so sensative" in my men on film voice( I know I spelt sensitive wrong it was for dramatic wording!
Damon's one liner shocked Alan, he never knew what was gonna come outta his mouth. I wish Men on Film made a movie. They'd killed it at the box office.
You, can’t have shows like this anymore, even married with children as well, best time , so funny everybody is so sensitive relax , just 😂 , miss this time of my life .
In 1992, I was just a middle aged white lady who only watched ESPN and the History Channel, but the kids at my work kept going " 2 snaps in a circle" , so I had to check out this show. " them sweaty mens all together in them tiny little cells" 😀😀😀
FYI - that line that Blaine says "Touch me in the morning then just walk away" is actually from some slow love song from the 60s or 70s thereabouts - they were a riot.
I don't understand people who can't find this funny. They woulda been cancelled already if they were white. I think the only thing that matters in comedy is that it's funny. I don't care if it offends as long as it makes us laugh.
