@@alexanderthompson683 I didn't say it wasn't (although I don't think it is), but it's not for everybody. I want them to react to songs I think they might like. And I don't think many people (apart from Em fans) can like that song. Maybe later. It's just my opinion, of course.
@@jesusisking9171 Lol, well they don't of course. Well, some probably have. But metal deals with a lot of dark themes and lyrics that match. Dark stories aren't so daunting to those who listen to metal, generally.
"when i'm gone" "beautiful" and "space bound" .... i want to see Ur dads' reaction to. Pretty please! Ofc subbed and liking all vids (with dad :D) i mean i am on older side of youtube myself so i like to see what hes thinking about certain songs/bars. Have a nice day!
@@sandornagy3350 Yeah, i've looked it up! It's weird he doesnt get more respect for being a producer. Like "Lose yourself", that song is a classic and won a grammy!
I found you guys quite early on in this journey, from your dad looking quite bewildered at to start to now being proper into it, dissecting the meanings, doing research off camera for it etc, it's been awesome to watch him embracing something he probably wouldn't have left to his own devices. Keep it up guys
Kim... Jesus.. Kim is the most... Idk how to explain. But damn.. it's hard to listen too. Not hard to listen too because it is bad rapping or production. Just damn... No spoilers here.
I am retired from one of the "Big 3" auto company's. It provided a good income and benefit's but there was nothing easy about it. Eminem and Kid Rock are two artists I will always appreciate because they know and pay homage to Detroit and the Blue Collar working man/woman.
R.i.p. Brittany Murphy😥 First time I saw this film I totally fell in love with her and every time I see the film now I get sad. 😥 Beside that I like the film allot.👍🇺🇸🇩🇰👍
One of the most stand out parts of this song to me has always been the near absence of all cursing. So many people would label Eminem as a vulgar, violent rapper, then this came out and introduced the world to the poet inside Eminem. Really a remarkable moment in his career.
The first and only rap song to win an Oscar. Eminem is a Walking Statue, real Goat in Hip Hop Culture and in general he represents a great part in history. Worlwide fan based for decades and eternity. Portugal here showing love. Thanks for reacting to a diamond classic.
Awesome reaction guys♥️You should write down somewhere of which song you liked the most so in the end you will see what song u liked most and what song u didnt like as much
If you’re gonna do Kim just make sure your dad doesn’t take it the wrong way, because many people have taken it as a glorification or a serious recount of its subject matter but it’s not
One of the dope things about this track in my opinion is that you can hear Em taking quick inhales of breath at some points during his verses. Just reminds me that he is in fact human!!
Just on the sidenote, since u mentioned it... Back in the day artists used to let the beat ride at the end of their songs, for the listener to get a little something to freestyle over themselves.. Like the feel of that!
@@timhix588 I was wrong. I mean, there is an official video for the song but the one which has more than 800M views is fan made. The official video was removed from RU-vid last year due to UMG. You can watch a piece of it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-X05ghawhG7o.html
You should start having your dad react to 50 cents music and his movie based off of his life called Get Rich or Die Trying. If it wasn’t for Eminem, 50 Cent wouldn’t even be the artist he is today.
Because your dad is a metalhead, and he loved Godzilla, I have to ask, have you guys ever checked out any of the mashups? Some really talented people will mix and match different song together, sometimes just the music from one and the lyrics from the other, sometimes deeper and more complicated. But there is a great mashup of Godzilla and Disturbed's "Down with the Sickness." I think the rock music from Disturbed elevates Godzilla, and if you guys never checked it out, you should.
YOU REALLY need to watch the story of how Em and Dre came together. There’s like a short 10 min documentary telling how Dre. found Em. Straight from their mouths so you know it’s not the B.S story.
New subscriber and i really enjoy you and your dads conent. I see you are both very great with analyzing Eminems storytelling songs, so i will highly suggest either "When im gone" or "Mockingbird" as songs to consider. Both songs are in the storytelling side of Eminem. Keep up your great conent. You are such a good companionship! Waiting for your next video!
Great reaction! I'd rather you wait to do Kim but if you do it soon then you have to go into it with an open mind and try to imagine what it takes to write something like that. The song will make you cringe and it's hard to listen to at times. It's really less of a song and more like theater from the perspective of someone who is mentally deranged. Like a one man show. Its genius but also really messed up. Not sure how else to explain it without giving away the story line. I heard this song the first time when I was probably 12 years old. It's still the wildest sh*t I've ever heard.
Hey man you should do "Fack" by eminem. I would love to see your dad react to how obnoxious and vulger the song is. Its the funniest rap song I've ever heard.
I read somewhere that Eminem had ridden this song in its lyrical entirety in about 30 to 45 something like that minutes while on the set of this movie... And if you go back and listen closely you will notice that every word in this song rhymes... Sometimes not in immediate fashion... But every single word in this song does rhyme... And the fact that he used some non-words to make them rhyme is not less impressive
Hiii , u have to stream bro ! I hope the Fam's doing good , also i wanted to say that when u would stream we could make donations , try twitch at the same time , thats just gon work cuz this is lovely , shady content is always omnipotent 🤗🤗
listen to rock bottom. Eminem wrote it before he was famous so its deff gritty and real. It is about that feeling of hitting rock bottom which I feel like a lot of people myself included have felt at least at one point in their life.
