Midst is an audio drama in which three mischievous narrators spin a surreal, reality-bending, sci-fantasy, space western about a crotchety outlaw, a struggling cultist, and a diabolical bastard making awful decisions in a world on the edge of disaster.
Some themes and situations that occur in-show may be difficult for some to handle. If certain episodes or scenes become uncomfortable, we strongly suggest taking a break or skipping that particular episode.

Oof. Phineas used to have a clear conscience and was willing to turn down advancement for what was right. Now he's very suddenly guilty of near-murder, and quite possibly full murder depending on the survival of the man...and forced to hide that from the man's daughter in a deceptive way. In front of a woman who knows what he did. This is...a bit stressful.

Just to quote ‘We’re unreliable narrators, not monsters.’ She may have well seen him leave the Cabaret, she may have well seen both of them leave, she may have well seen Sherman get carried by some guards and Phineas was there, et etc. I think the key thing is she believes Sherman to be dead and Phineas to be responsible, but we’re not sure if Lark knows that for certain or is jumping to a conclusion with the evidence she has.

I have a theory on what monster Emilda Goldfinch brought to the upper trust front door in the beginning of season 1 ep 1. I think it is Moc Weepe that she turned in to that monster. Because if you remember he pulls fluid out of himself on a regular basic so that "something" doesn't happen .I think if he doesn't pull the fluid from himself he loses control and turns into a monster and I think Emilda Goldfinch finds out about dis and takes advantage of dis to do her evil plan. a similar theory is that she finds out about his condition and conducts experiments on him to turn him in to a monster for her plan ,she then uses the excuse that it is medicine to help him and he can't say no because he is into deep already because of her. hope some people have thought on this theory as well that Emilda Goldfinch turns Moc Weepe into a monster for her evil plans and that the beginning of season 1 ep1 was a hint to that.
