Just wanted to send out a thank you 🙏. The other day I asked about bedding traps. Your traps are always so solid. Anyhow your answer definitely helped me out. I was doing 2 things that gave me trouble or caused me extra time when bedding each trap. So, what helped me? One, was making my trap bed smaller. And two was giving a good solid spot for my levers to bed. My beds went from being “Eh it’s solid but it could be a lot better.”, to “That trap is rock solid and doesn’t move a millimeter.” I think my biggest issue was the fact my beds were too big, which led to a few different problems. But they’re fixed now. Thanks again and god bless.

Biggs I love the content thanks for everything. The information you put out is why I think i've been doing well this year. I just got into predator trapping (used to trap coons when i was a teen and they were actually worth come money). I caught 2 red foxes so far on my small line and just connected with my first coyote last night here in PA! A 30 lb female, it might not mean a lot to a lot of people but sure means a lot to me, lot of work to get her! Thanks again!

Hey man, ive been having trouble trapping coyotes here in WV. Seems like they either go past my sets, or come into my set to check it out but don’t work it so I can catch them. I’m brand new into trapping and caught a bobcat yesterday (my first catch) but do you have any tips that might help me out with these eastern dogs?
Good morning, Caleb. This time of the year can be challenging in terms of getting a coyotes attention. Some coyotes are now turning their focus to breeding. Contrary to popular belief, not all coyotes breed. Family groups have a breeding pair. However, even the ones that do not breed become even more territorial during breeding season. We still make dirt hole sets this time of the year because coyotes still have to eat, but flat set variations lured with gland and lots of urine really shine right now. If you're not already using gland lure, you should start. I think it will help. Also, get as many sets in the ground as possible. I know you said you were just starting so you might not have a bunch of traps yet, and I definitely understand that. Definitely use every trap you have right now if you're able. We caught a coyote yesterday that walked right by six sets before it decided to stop and check out the seventh one. Many congrats on your bobcat. They're a blast to catch. This is my first year trapping out here in North Eastern Utah. I just set a dozen coyote traps out using your sets you have been posting now I will wait and see what happens. Love your channel and keep posting. Where can I get that beanie you wear with the track on it? It’s pretty cool!

Nice video! Say a coyote dug up one of my traps without firing it. Should I re bed the trap? Or should I move the trap even if it’s just a few feet away? I’m wondering if the same coyote comes back that he would remember there’s a buried trap.
