Had my first look at the Naniwa Aotoshi today. A potentially great whetstone with interresting characteristics. (timestaps below)
0:00 Grit, and talking about stones
4:27 Soaking the stone
7:30 Dulling and sharpening
18:35 Summary
Edits:
* The stone didnt need more soaking than i did, it could even had been less.
* After you expose new grit, after a few sharpenings, it has a better feel to it. You could even use a 1k stone to expose it manually.
* Cuts fast with slurry built up, polish is decent without slurry.
* Gets you a razor sharp knife without having to go for a seperate polishing stone.
