Part 4 is here: • Part 4 Chris Watts: Lo...
Narcissistic people mostly have at least one parent who is a narcissist, usually, but not always, the mother. In this video I talk about Cindy Watts, the mother of Chris Watts, the reasons I suspect she is a narcissist and the impact I believe she had one Chris Watts when he was growing up.

I thought it was just the USA mindset, where anything a man does wrong to a woman, it's because a woman caused him to do it. They think grown men don't have any mind of their own or self responsibility. Reason he did it was because of the victim, his girlfriend or his mother, but not him

@@Girl-101 You are moving dangerously close to victim blaming - that kind of toxic comment is not tolerated on this channel. Shanann was a victim of an extreme covert narcissist - this channel helps people to recognise the red flags indicating a narcissistic personality. Hopefully people will learn a lot from this channel, it may even save lives. You would do better to listen to what's being said here, rather than jumping in with dumb insults about a murder victim. Cindy Watts took an instant dislike to Shanann the first time they met - not Shanann's fault, she bent over backwards to get on with his parents. Shanann also had many friends and was a well-liked person. It was because Cindy's relationship with her son was inappropriately controlling, and she did not want another strong woman having power over him! Shanann threw an engagement party and Cindy saw the lovely house she owned on her own, and was angered by it. Her son still lived at home with her and her husband - he did not own property and compared with Shanann was a bit of a flop, financially, intellectually and socially, which no doubt irked Cindy. Cindy's resentment of Shanann was toxic and totally without foundation. She is clearly a narcissist at the extreme end of the scale - and she bred another one in her evil son. If you can't recognise how sinister Cindy Watts' behaviour was in filling her house with nuts after Shanann told her her granddaughter had a potentially fatal nut allergy, then there really is no hope for you! You are clearly naive about dangerous people like Cindy and Chris Watts and would be very vulnerable if a covert narcissist moved in on you - I suggest you put down your unfounded prejudices about Shanann, and instead open your eyes and ears, watch this channel and learn something to your advantage!

One of those interviewed by law enforcement was a childhood friend of Chris Watts who had heard bad things about Shanaan from the Watts family but hadn't seen any behavior he found questionable in his limited dealings with her. After he met them in June 2018 on one of Shanaan's reward trips to San Diego, near where he lives, he mentioned that Chris' mother had called him to say Chris was leaving her. Almost everyone knows someone with in-law conflict. But I know no one who would encourage an adult son to leave his pregnant wife and two small children because "the spark is gone." She didn't like Shanaan and that was all that mattered not the welfare of her soon to be three young grandchildren.

He's not a sociopath but has high levels of narcissism and he's actually threatened to kill me. I have told anyone I know of his behavior. Thanks so much. Great videos.

I feel the nut incident was extremely sinister - it is hard to believe the amount of nuts in Chris Watts' mother's house that day, put into kiddies' ice cream and out on display on a table, was mere coincidence. As well as Bella and Cece, two other grandchildren were at grandma's house that day. They were all given ice cream with nuts in - except Cece who was told she could not have it and naturally, got upset. That was cruel and unnecessary. Nuts are surely not a typical kids treat anyway, lots of kids are allergic plus they are a choking hazard. This was not Shanann making a silly fuss about something - nut allergies can be fatal, she understandably expected the whole family to pay attention when she told them about Cece's issue. Her own parents removed all nuts from their house right away - but I think Cindy Watts went shopping for them! When Shanann saw the other children eating ice cream with nuts and Cece upset she couldn't have it, she remonstrated with her mother in law, and was told "Cece needs to learn she can't have everything". Cece is a 3 year old for God's sake! This incident, and the fact Cindy Watts did not apologise to Shanann afterwards but escalated a rift by blocking her on Facebook and failing to go to the child's birthday party, shows beyond doubt what an extreme narcissist she is. I think she did terrible psychological harm to Chris Watts. However, psychopaths are born with brains differently 'wired' to non psychopaths. The connections to areas of the brain controlling emotions like love, empathy and guilt are far weaker in a psychopath's brain. The most extreme examples like Chris Watts, whereby they become killers are said to be a combination of nature and nurture. So it is likely CW's brain has those weak connections to the emotional centres, and then in addition he was raised by parents who enabled his narcissism. I would love to see a video where you discuss the theories about HOW people become psychopaths - and also the difference between male and female psychopaths. Do they behave differently, and are there more male psychopaths than female? If so, why? Thanks for another fascinating video - I am loving your channel and so glad I found it today and subbed! Keep the videos coming! XXX

All of your videos on this are spot on!!! I do have a request: Could you please do a video on being raised by the victim of narc abuse? My mother was raised by a narc mother, but my mother turned out to be an empath. The sad part about this, is, her history of dating narc men, as well as not trusting her own emotions, because of continually being gaslighted. How do I, as the daughter, deal with her, and help her, if she’s in denial and/or doesn’t see the problem. Note: She visited us for Christmas, and denied that she is still seeing her narc boyfriend 😳. She also has a major case of dissociation. She’s rarely “with us” and uses this as a coping mechanism. Please help!!!!! Thank you for your brilliant insight into narcissism, and their victims.

My niece and nephew are both diabetics and we as a family NEVER eat anything they can't when they are with us. They are both teenagers now and this has not changed. It's about loving them and making them feel as if they are not different just because they have a condition. It's about solidarity, something that should come out of grandma Watts naturally, especially if she claims to be so "Christian"...

No one believes that they are what they become behind closed doors. Narcissistic relationships as an adult are bad enough, but when you are growing up with it and then have to piece tour life together as an adult who is not narcissistic. Now that would be a video!

Juanita Richards, sounds like how I grew up. I am 46 y/o and still have flashbacks. I once was crying and holding a wash cloth, picking at the terry cloth threads and my dad screamed at me to stop crying and told me I looked like an insane person picking at the wash cloth bc “that’s what crazy people do, the sit an pick at things”. I was already sad and upset and then to be told I looked and was acting like a crazy person broke my heart. Luckily and through the Grace of God I had an empathetic, loving mother, but bc of the abuse she endured, she was absent more than she was present. I would be a wealthy woman if I could get all the $ back that I’ve spent out of pocket on psychotherapy. I’m a survivor, my dad fell ill nearly 3 years ago and I took wonderful care of him, made sure he had top notch care and lived in the finest extended care home (9k per month). I had 4 months with him before he died and one evening I was organizing his room and he looked over at me and said, “Julie, I’m so sorry for all that I’ve caused.” I looked at him, said, “what?” He said, “I’m sorry for all the pain I’ve caused.” I was soooooo sunned! Mixed emotions ran through me, anger, sadness, happiness, etc. I wanted to rush to his bedside and ask him to elaborate and tell me in detail all the things he was sorry for, but all I could mutter is, “it’s okay.” !!!???!!?? This world is tough and I struggle daily with trying to figure out how people can be so wicked, especially to their own children.

Nobody on this thread is a narcissist. I don't believe a true narcissist is capable of critical self-evaluation unless it is somehow used to promote themselves. Like, I have a totally type A sister, probably meets every narcissist criteria. But whenever I have a problem, she falls over herself to help me. But once the problem is handled, she is right back to being a bossy jerk. Being a bossy jerk doesn't make you a narcissist! Using people as objects rather than people is what makes one a narcissist. In addition to that, one must feel complete indifference toward the emotional well-being of others. They are only introspective to suit their own needs. I would say the comments here demonstrably lack key traits of the narcissist, primary there is that a narcissist would not bother caring if he or she is a narcissist and especially would not take the time to comment here. They are far too consumed with the show they are starring in.

Narcissism exists on a spectrum. Everyone has it to some extent and not all narcissism is bad. There is such thing as having healthy narcissism. Though we're all prone to use a few narc tactics in our worst moments bc we're all human, what distinguishes the malignant kind is that they're like that all the time. They really aren't capable of thinking of other people as their own person independent from whatever fantasy the narc has running through their head.

That disgusting, self serving speech in court in front of Shanann's parents, brother and loved ones should never have been allowed! It was supposed to be a Victim Impact Statement but the Watts cynically made it all about their son - who is NOT a victim but the villain! It was an appalling slap in the face to the real victims, Shanann, Bella, Cece, Nico and all Shanann's loved ones. The Watts have no class, and no humanity. They continue to insult Shanann to news reporters, even after their evil son murdered her!
