@@magnusopus4461 LeBron is a great player. What he has is tremendous size, speed, and strength combined with basketball skills. If he didn't have those sully negatives, perhaps he'd be in my top three. I know I'm right about this. I don't have to promote Lebron for the NBA, ESPN, and TNT. I can sit back and tell the truth. But it's very hard to crack those top three. For me, Bill Russell is number one. Jordan is number two because he dominated both ends from the guard position. Jabbar is number three. The other GOAT-eligible players: Chamberlain - His 2-4 finals record keeps him out of the top 3 despite the fact that he destroyed the NBA more than anyone else. Bryant - Kobe was close to two-three-peats. Had he accomplished that he'd be a solid 4 or even an arguable 3. Johnson - Magic had to retire early but I have no problem placing him at 4. Bird - Couldn't beat Magic. The one time he did beat Magic Boston shouldn't have. But Larry Bird scared me. He was terrific in every aspect.
