@Golden Knight now imagine the ignorance that Patrice might have had to listen to for years especially growing up in Boston smh. I'm sure he took it as much as he gave it. Lighten up if he was anti white he wouldn't be in that room with two " white" guys Smh think about it
@Golden Knight He had huge racist beliefs towards whitey but he was hilarious and it was part of his whole persona. He was a comic at the end of the day so his humour is what counts.
That is why they had Patrice taken out, ant was starting to think about their racial conversations, instead of just regurgitate their racist rhetoric. Ant and Patrice were becoming good friends, bridging racial divides so to speak. Which is bad for their business.
@@BIGNOSEPOPPA Is Bill really? Good on him man. Him and Patrice were apparently close. I listen to his podcast but have recently fell out of the algorithm viewing his content usually puts me in. When did he say he was going to do a doc about Mr. P?
anthony runs all his comedy into the ground, he jumps on comedy that comics bring up and its a hit or miss 3:10. but this show would be alot better without either of these annoying hacks ona
Patrice has a special respect. he doesn't get mad at all at racist comments, it fuck people heads up, instead he throws facts out. all around intelligent and aware.
@@ryang790 yeah who gives a shit how you think. Patrices mind is what he was talking about. He woulda had a whole different outlook on Tarantino in general.
Golden Knight no, I clearly have the right idiot. He pushed for different views and ideologies. He always wanted white people to have the ability to be racist publicly and be more honest with their feelings. Do you genuinely think that most black people think this way? And it’s funny because he actually addressed that stance in this video. So not only did you lie about watching a lot of Patrice but your smooth brain couldn’t even retain the information Patrice bestowed on us from this single video. You got issues, sweetheart
I ran out of Norm Macdonald clips and interviews where he gives hilarious insights on life and then I discovered this treasure trove of Patrice talking for hours about life on O&A. Anthony being so funny and ignorant and Patrice just talking him off the ledge of insanity day after day is a gift to mankind.
@@cervgiovanni yes, with their insights you can tell they think about everything. Like they both have the same heart just different souls. But they’re both so good I always thought “God, I hope this man stays healthy, the world needs him.”
Found a Patrice appearance and some phoners not on this playlist. Type in the search bar: #41 Teabagging & The Magic Dragon, #9 Yoko Ono of Comedy, #53 Afro Americans and #54 Morally Repugnant. Was so happy I found some more Patreeky stuff.
3:15 jimmy grasped the concept of witty joke 4:51 patrice almost grasped the concept of "keyboard warrior" by himself 3:47 anthony grasps patrice concept realy quick 0:56 opie never grasped nothing since he was 18 14:18 patrice roasting the shit outta yimmy lmao
+Weston4020 Thanks for all the Patrice! You're doing the man a noble honor and us a great service. I love the time-stamped descriptions too. Keep up the good work my friend!
"Michael Keaton got to be Batman.. Who the fuck made that decision!? That was unfair to somebody..." LMAO LMAO 31:57 Michael Keaton didn't kill Batman, but Patrice's line still made me laugh.. LOL
I liked Patrice, but he DID turn everything topic into a racial issue. It's not fair to have to like everything someone does just because they have a different skin color. You should be able to call bullshit when you see it
Opie always seemed out of place he never is part of the conversation he'll do some forced laughing and then jump in the say we gotta take a break, he's just a button pusher he brings nothing to the show is one of the luckiest people on earth
@@Blood0ceanyeah, I completely despise unfunny ant, from Patrice episode 87 or so to at least 100, he is just a POS Italian criminal who calls others criminals. Obama’s election ruined Ant, he’s more black than white himself.
I dont think that after slavery black people became a burden, i think that it was more like a foreign person being dropped in a completely different country and culture in the way that suddenly they were not familiar with the way the society worked for white people, they were free people with no connection to the established society, no way to prove they have the skills needed for certain jobs, they were poor, different customs, background and overall hierarchy in social interactions. And those differences where the cause of the ostracism and cultural repulsion for different races historically, a preconceived lower step in the stairway of status becomes equal to another written as a social norm, there is were the bitterness of contemporary racial intolerance reside.
😂😂😂😂😂no... Just a no... Lol minorities ('white' people) lost Merica biliions in possible commerce with sexist and racist laws and have never ran the country right/fair.. how is it anyone else's fault!!? cartman bruh smh☕️🐸
It a shame talk like this seem hard to have. To able to have a talk about race and all. Man Patricia would be the best guy to being that talk to the forefront that really needed today.
Opie’s whole radio philosophy was actually a big distraction from the good to awesome radio which came from the organic conversations and not the side business. It all really did suck, from the pests to jocktober, they were all forgettable and took away from time from comedians who weren’t or aren’t hacks. Yet there he is blowing himself because he got his own radio show amazingly enough and held it down long enough to find more interesting people who could do his own show better than him.
In retrospect, as someone who listens to clips on youtube 12 years later, sure, it sucked. But at the time it definitely contributed to some kind of success. Building a following like they had, at the time, required some fan interaction. Opie built a cult following with those interactions. Remember, this wasn't a podcast, it was a radio show. Even though we listen to them as if they were podcasts, they weren't.
@@stevenhetzel6483 a lot of people forget that, this was talk radio not a podcast, but because of this radio has been overtaken by podcasts in abundance. The jocktober bits were pointless because you know they suck already, and it was punching down. However radio wars were fine and vs Howard Stern stories as well in my view.
Opie would have been a good behind the scenes guy. He had some good ideas for stirring the pot and drawing an audience. He still knows how to get clicks (ironically by talking about this show). He just needed people to know that he contributed so he kept himself on air no matter what and got really upset when other people would get credit for something. Opie wanted his contributions to lead to the large audience but didn’t have the talent to do that directly so he resented everyone who contributed to the success of the show.
point made at 1:01:00 completely untrue. slaves were the most skilled laborers in the workforce, when released. common sense would dictate that... for instance, if i had a person to work for me for free why would i pay a plumber to come to my house? or a barber? or a carpenter? that would be counterproductive to me buying a person in the first place. labor unions would seem to be the answer for combating these new highly skilled people in the workforce who would work for far cheaper than anyone else in the country once freed. so, create a union that excludes whoever u consider undesirable, then create a loitering law that puts people who have no home or job back into slavery, for the county/city and there u have it!, slavery by another name.
Patrice is always right AND funny. What a dude he was. Him Ant jimmy n Artie wud have been the dream team. They cud go up against Opie Sam and stuttering John...
Crazy how they’re talking about Quentin Tarantino movies and Jamie Foxx. Dude went on to star in the epic Django Unchained, wonder what Anthony thought of his acting skills in that. Samuel Jackson was in that movie too, and in The Hateful Eight; if you ask me, I’d say he was great in both of those, especially since they say he wasn’t in any good movies since Pulp Fiction.. Oh, and he killed as Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Patrice didn’t get to see most of what I mentioned.
@@assblaster5459 I absolutely love Patrice I think he was great and I'll always enjoy listening to him on o&a. But yeah, alot of people make comments that sound like Patrice was the most perfect, greatest man to ever have lived who even Jesus himself would worship. Whenever a celebrity dies young it somehow makes them more interesting and their fans become considerably more loyal. It's just a thing people do for some reason, I've done it myself plenty of times
@@elias197859 I think it’s more of the fact that most of the things he said were the complete unfiltered truth that stands to this day in 2022. Prophetic is almost the ability to foresee event or themes happening. Patrice was on the money about 95% of the things he spoke about which was nonsense back then but today relevant as all relevancy.
Patrice’s discussion with Jamie Foxx (Eric Bishop) - I met him back in the 1990’s and after meeting him…. I never watched another movie with him in it.
Dudes taking one was a really cool movie especially at the time it came out. I don’t understand why Jimmy and Opie don’t like it. Patrice is totally correct and everything he’s saying in his critique and explanation of the film.
40:03 oh god...patrice...the fact patrice thinks m night shyamalan was going to make a triumphant return with last airbender. when patrice is right he's right but when he's wrong he's catastrophically wrong. "it looks like it's gonna be a bad movie" bruh...
Actually, I just did suck a lemon and a lime making the traditional Brazilian drink called Caipirinha... life is good when you are retired, can eat, drink and nap anytime that you choose!
