I've struggled with pcos symptoms since I was a teen in the 90s, before I even knew there was a name for it. I had my first child at 20, then struggled to conceive for 14 years. Had miscarriages as well. I was finally diagnosed with pcos at 34. So my symptoms made sense and I decided to be at peace and be grateful for the child I did have and let go of the idea of having more. I got pregnant 4 months later. Then again at 41. So it can happen. Praying for you.

Hey hon.. I had messaged you on Instagram giving you hope and well wishes.. My reason for my journey was also my infertility, PCOS, endometriosis, prediabetic, high blood pressure.. Long story short.. I'm going to be 45yrs old.. I have a 15 month old.. Started at 400lbs got down to 171lbs had some regain to 190lbs when I got pregnant.. I was told by doctors it would never happen.. God said otherwise.. I have been thru everything you've explained and understand 100% your feelings..

Listen I want to encourage you. As a woman who has suffered from obesity and infertility there is HOPE. I was told I would probably never conceive children after trying for 2 years I found myself a fertility specialist and a new OB/GYN because my OB/GYN didn't appear to be concerned about my issues. Only to find that I had symptoms of PCOS and also blocked fallopian tubes. I had a procedure to open my tubes and begin fertility treatments. I got pregnant on my first round of fertility treatments with my oldest at 31, went back two years later and started treatments again was told that it failed only to find out a month later I got pregnant on my own at 33. Fast forward a few years later I got pregnant with my third miracle/surprise baby on my own at 37. I have had three other subsequent pregnancies since that at age 39, 41, & 42. I say all that to say this don't give up on your dreams. Continue to do what you have to do, pray and trust God to do the rest. All of this was prior to WLS so it is possible! With God all things are possible!

I feel ya. I had genuine hate for my body. I felt it betrayed me by not doing what it was supposed to do. What it was MADE to do. The pain is real. Body acceptance isn't just about weight or looks. I had to remind myself over and over that there was more to me than the ability to ovulate. I was and am worthy, and my body's biological shortcomings had no bearing on my worth. After 5 years, I decided to stop trying and my husband cried with me. But we moved on. Then, much later, my doctor gave me progesterone to trigger a period after 8 months without one. I got pregnant two months later with my one and only at age 36. My PCOS is still terrible. And I still have to remind myself that I am more than my messed up reproductive tract.

life is really so unfair when it comes to fertility. there's women getting abortions who don't want a child and then there's women who want one so badly and can't. hope it works out for you!!

Seriously I know someone who who stays getting abortions left and right all the time and i wonder why people like her get to get pregnant so fast who is not deserving at all and who is already a bad mom to the kids they have

@@marieo4919 yeah but at least she is wise enough not to get more kids. the more pregnancies you have the more fertile you get hence why she Keeps getting pregnant

I definitely understand your pain. I am 3 years post op and trying to have a baby. Ive been pregnant 3 times but every pregnancy has ended in miscarriage. I am now seeing a fertility specialist and I have to say that the experience has been SO MUCH BETTER than I expected. I've learned so much about my body and reproductive system. So if I could give you any advice It would be DO NOT WAIT. Go see a fertility specialist. They are completely different from a OBGYN. They run different test,do different bloodwork and really try their best to make your dream come true. Also I was worried about the cost and my insurance has paid for EVERYTHING. God bless you Girlfriend 🙏🏾

I hope this feels helpful and not annoying. I haven’t been diagnosed with PCOS but I didn’t struggle to have a monthly cycle. A naturopathic GYN told me testosterone gets stuck in your fat and not metabolized. It starts to build up and causes hormone imbalances. She had me take licorice root and testosterone supporting vitamins to help my body breakdown the testosterone. I did start to have a period but never got my testosterone tested. I do hope you have a great infertility visit and get some answers to help you down the journey to motherhood. You have a beautiful spirit about you and any child would be blessed to have you as a mother.

I don’t know why people place such high importance on a woman’s ability to get pregnant. Struggling with infertility does not make you less than. Women who don’t have children for whatever reason are worthy! I get so upset when people make comments. I wish fertility was not a small topic of conversation. I will never ask anyone about it. We don’t know what people are dealing with.

I have pcos too. I also had vsg which did nothing for my menstrual cycle but I was able to take letrozole that made me ovulate and I did get pregnant with twins but I had a miscarriage. I feel like the surgery helped me get pregnant and the letrozole just made me ovulate so I credit both of them. Hopefully we get our rainbow baby soon. Please keep us updated on this journey

I would recommend the book it starts with the egg. Most pcos women who go through ivf or other fertility treatments have an abundant amount of eggs available but the quality may not be great. So I would advise to get on the supplements in that book asap. It takes about 90 days for egg quality. I have pcos but have a diminished ovarian reserve which is almost unheard of for women who have pcos. I am thankful that we have the ability to go through the ivf process. We were able to get 3 embryos that are frozen and we are preparing for a transfer. The journey isn’t easy! I cry literally everyday! But I know it will be worth it! Your in my prayers!

I have PCOS, had two miscarriages, and bypass a year now. Not currently trying to get pregnant, but what worked for me the the two times I got pregnant was minor exercise and I took birth control for about three months and then stop and boom I was pregnant the first month after I was off them birth control. I know that feeling of wanting a baby and it not happening it is devastating, keep the faith, it will happen.

Heyyy!!! I have pcos and I had WLS oct 2021. You can get pregnant! PCOS doesn’t go away with wls- you have to track your ovulation everyday. I would suggest testing twice a day. That’s what I did and also do a diabetic meal plan. I had my first baby after WLS!

OMG!! My heart hurts for you and the longing to have your own child. I will come in agreement with you that God will open your womb to conceive a child. I see a little girl in your future don't think or believe anything else, OK. However God chooses for your baby to come just know that he can and he will make it happen for you. Remember to be patient with yourself and the process do your part and let God do the rest. In prayer with you 🙏!

I just found out I have pcos, and I am also taking metformin. I’ve gone to multiple doctors because I couldn’t lose weight and my periods were irregular. All the doctors kept saying it’s because you are big and need to lose weight. All of this is because you are big. It wasn’t until I met my new doctor that she said, "This isn’t because of your weight; let’s test you for pcos. She recently did, and it turned out I have it. I'm just trying to understand it; I’m still doing my research. This video was so helpful. Thank you so much.

Kelsi, everything is being prepared for you. Have you ever tried spearmint tea? Research it for yourself to confirm the findings. In addition to no processed food. I know you are familiar with these anecdotes but just a suggestion. It works for hormones.

Thank you for making this video, I have pcos as well and have been trying for years and now thinking about vsg to be at a healthy weight but also to see if that would help with me having a child. I always thought weightloss surgery would be the fix but never considered that it could possibly not go the way I hope due to pcos.

I was told after I got diagnosed was to get laser surgery for the facial hair because once thr hair follicle has grown, it doesn't stop....even after surgery. So you may want to look into that.

try looking up fertility sex positions sometimes the entrance is shaped differently making it difficult for sperm to swing up there ( in the meantime) yes this is a thing also elevating your bum up after sex for 30 mins also helps there's also lube to boost your fertility I'll be praying for you! ❤️
