Thank you for making this video and being transparent. I am two years and have fallen back into old ways and now i have 20 pounds of regain. I want to try a weightloss medication like ozempic but I am ashamed to even ask my doctor for it. I also am experiencing transfer addiction of shopping excessive and also drinking alot. I feel like im spiraling. I dont want to regain the over 70lbs i lost. I needed this motivation and its helpful that im not alone in this fight.

I love that your back your one of the few vsg content creators that i watch and im going through the same thing i loss my son 12/13/2013 and his birthday is 11/26 and i just get depressed around this time of the year and i am gaining all my weight back and for my doctor to keep asking me why are you not losing more weight

Thanks for your realness. We are almost weight loss twins, both having surgeries in 2021. I’ve had a great success with mine with 204 lbs lost. I think because I had the sleeve and bypass combined surgery. Plus, I can’t eat a lot of stuff so that helps in my success. I’m glad you are on track again.

Hey Kelsi, glad you are back! I totally understand your struggle. I am almost 2 years out and I have been struggling even though I was exercising 5 to 6 times a week, my hunger was out of control and my menstrual cycle is out of wack. Unfortunately I believe I am in perimenopause. Which is throwing my hormones out of whack. I am currently trying natural remedies to keep them inline.

Yes I would watch your vlogs. I’ve always said my life is boring and no one wants to watch it but I like vlogging and I watch people that do regular things just like me and you and I love watching them. Just keep posting. You would be surprised at who watches. I don’t have near as many subscribers as you but I love vlogging. You also helped me when I started my vsg journey and I appreciate you.

Hi Kelsi, girl I didn't get this notification I'm so glad to see and you look beautiful as always. I was taking ozempic but it became to expensive for me to afford it went from 180.00 to 255.00. And it was helping with my weight and also my diabetes. I understand everything you are talking about. I'm so happy that you're back and doing well because your videos help me alot. Ggiirrll I'm in the same damn boat. 1 year hit and it was like the emotional eating kicked in. I got down to 190, SWORE I'd never see 200 again.... and here I am back at 210 😭 I have to have the revision to bypass in December because of my acid reflux. We will see what happens after that. :(

I had my surgery 7/2021. SW 313 and CW 234.. I go up and down 5 pounds can’t get out 230’s. Also, my acid reflux is out of control I’m popping reflux pills all day. I have an appointment with a gastroenterologist on Tuesday, but I’m also thinking about asking would I have to do a revision to bypass. I’ve never had reflux issues pre VSG

I’m glad Mounjaro is working for you. I tried ozempic (I’m diabetic) and have had no weight loss. So we moved me to Mounjaro and I had an allergic reaction. Go figure. So I’m back on ozempic and have VSG surgery scheduled in Nov. I’m nervous as hell!

I am 2years RNY SW 250 CW 150 however last week eating crazy now so sick ER twice. We are going to get through. It’s a learning process. Bariatric surgery is really a good tool. We are all Human. I am a compulsive eater, and love to cook have not seen therapy in a while. I think I need my visit every 6months.

Hey Kels, can you please make a video about your experience with Mounjaro? I’m pre diabetic and 100 lbs overweight 🫣. I work with an Endocrinologist and I’m considering either Ozempic or Mounjaro. Would love to hear about any side effects you’ve had.

You’ll have to pay out of pocket for those two if not diabetic. If your plan covers weight loss meds the specialist would suggest WeGovy which is ozempic just marketed for weight loss

@@JessALifestyle actually I am not a diabetic, I am insulin-resistant with PCOS and my insurance did cover Mounjaro. I can't speak about ozempic. They also offer prescription discount coupons just depending on your circumstances and your health background I would definitely consult your doctor to see what your options may be.

@@kelsi_danielle I emphasized because if you do not have a high A1C you can’t get Mounjaro. It’s in such high demand now some pharmacies are asking for your doctor to call and state your A1c level if it’s not listed on the Rx. I’m just speaking from experience. 6.5 or higher is classified diabetes. I can’t get any of them covered by insurance because I’m not diabetic and my insurance like many others won’t cover wegovy. I have a endocrinologist for thyroid disease and she’s tried to get me all 3. Been rejected by insurance or I have to pay out of pocket over $500 for a 30 day supply. I like that we can share our experiences to help others. I took compounded semaglutide and in my opinion no major side effects. Just be sure to have your choice of laxative in case of occasional constipation with whichever you choose. Also ginger candy or tea in case of nausea. Nausea can come out of nowhere for some.

So basically cut 80% of your stomach wasn’t successful. I think if you would’ve did the bypass you would’ve had more weight loss and it would’ve been more successful. I heard a lot of people that did the sleeve had to convert into bypass. Good luck on your new journey.😊❤

Well I wouldn't say that it was unsuccessful I didn't get to where I wanted to be I was very successful I lost over a hundred pounds which was my projected weight loss. I just didn't meet my goal so I wouldn't say it was unsuccessful. Thank you for being here !!
