Polymer stamp making (Sept 2017) 11 

I now use LED UV bulbs - they are more reliable, watch the more recent videos in the stamp making playlist.

I generally don't recover unused gel as it could be partly exposed due to the print not being totally, completely blocking the UV. However if you really over do the amount of gel around your image, you may want to re use some. I would have another set up ready for it, scoop it onto the next stamp to be made and top it up. You may find it takes slightly less time to cure. It is best though not to waste it in the first place. You can dam your images quite closely, or use grouping and planning to avoid wastage. Thank you! Yes, for printing onto tracing paper. If I remember correctly, when I tried it with my inkjet, it didn't like printing on it (either that or it was not dark enough!) I do have it set to high quality, darkest print, I set it up as one of my custom settings, so I can immediately go to it.

Hi, I use a laser printer to print my positive design on a FOLEX-laser film. I use a black covering lasertoner-fixer to have more density on that printed film. From the folex-film, I make a negative on AGFA-daylight-film. This wil be a negative, with a density of about 3. For me is that the perfect negative to exposure the polymer.

By the way, I love your video's. They are amazing. I learned a lot of those film. Thanks for sharing.

Claire, The maker is Colop, Image Pac isn't likely to want to sell you this stuff, they want to sell the kits.
