Awesome video, love your info and stand on alot of things. Good videos to have since not to many people put out videos on these products with these cars.
Quality content as always bob. It’s nice seeing people who will go over kits so well and pro /con them so people feel good about spending their money. Even nicer because you’re repping a kit that isn’t yours. Some shops won’t do that. That’s why I’d trust your judgement over anyone else’s on anything I own.
Thanks for this information. I’m seriously thinking about driving up from Texas with my PRL turboed 9th gen Si. It was on the car when I bought it, and would like to refresh a few things and build the engine and transmission.
Great work, I am looking into getting the same EXACT modifications done to my 9th gen. How much did all this labor cost the customer. So I know how much I need saved up before I start buying all parts.
Is installing a turbo kit and installing suspension setup (coils, rear camber kit, new rotors and break pads, wheels, and tires) easy? Just asking because I have one shop charging me so much for it and claiming other shops will f the suspension + kit up and I have another shop charging me way less and saying it’s easy to install everything. So I don’t know what to think lol Thanks.
Define easy? Does it take time, sure. It's hard to judge a question like that with little details. Email me at rcautoworks@gmail.com and I'll make sure you're not getting taken advantage of.
Do you suggest using 9th gen or 8th gen injectors on RBC when turbo boosting? And how do you install each one? Like do the 8th gen injectors just plug right into the RBC and the fuel rail or are there any adapters needed? And for using stock 9th gen injectors, what would you need to install them into the RBC?
If you're running an rbc you must run 8th gen injectors, yes they'll fit right in the intake manifold and fuel rail. Email us if you're looking to get setup rcautoworks@gmail.com
You can make more then 450 but as I see it, that's really the safe limit. Anything after that is really pushing it, pf course it can be done but you're on the limits.
Hello guys. I have a question. I'm getting this kit installed, it should be done tomorrow. It seems like they ran the oil line from the turbo to the oil pan drain plug, is this safe? Or the line should go higher on the oil pan? Thanks for your help
I want to throw together a kit myself on a k24z3 on my TSX it has the same internals and pistons as the civic si unlike the accord version of the k24Z kinda interested in air to water intercooling so I don’t have to have a ton of piping and just have it loop back around by where the stock intake and battery is and relocate it, but this is all just brainstorming i doubt I do it this car is supposed to be my reliable car second car😂
