Pulsar needs an update to remove the limiter, if possible. Thanks for the dyno at first I thought the Pulsar just modified the TPS.

I just dyno-ed my 2020 Rebel and ran into the exact same issues with downshifting. We had to do the same thing, roll into 6th then WOT so the truck didn't have time to downshift. We were scratching our heads for a while on this.

Put the pulsar in my 2019 ram did great for about a month. then it starts throwing codes and says electronic throttle control failure. take the pulsar off to take in and no codes and throttle control is just fine. put it back in runs good for a month and does the same thing. so just took it out. been trying to get better fuel mileage and the pulsar did help. thanks for the videos glad to find info on these products.

Diablo now supports full tune with PCM swap. Can also turn off speed limiter.

diablo tuners allow you to kill the limiters....Most sports usually get about 320ish so yours is not far off..Most likely the big rubber..

At JBA we learned to do the 8 spds in 5th. In a swap vehicle with the Sound German Engineering controller this shouldn’t be an issue.

My 2016 Ram I put the Heimfever tune in it. I can definitely say it was awesome. I wonder if you can add a tune to it?

No, you can't. This is the tune. Now if one would put a good cold air intake and exhaust they would see another bump in power to say 35hp 45 tq, but definitely more than that on the bottom end. If someone were to bolt on a 6.1l intake manifold they could find at a junkyard (maybe) take the throttle body to a machine shop and bore it out to 85 to 90mm, then long tube headers, then change out the fuel rail and injectors, and a mds system, then you need a custom tune, then you'd top out at 430 to 450 hp at the wheels, 460 tq. If you want to do forced air, you have to change out the pistons because the rings are to close to the end (emissions crap) you could ht 500 plus to the ground.

I installed my Pulsar on my Rebel... looks to be the exact same as Belle. Install is easy and I can definitely feel the difference. One issue I have is I now cant see my rear view camera and my heated seats dont show up on my center screen. I do need to get the software updated, need the cable.

I absolutely love mine. I just put the AWE 0FG exhaust on it... Key-Riced, did the in interweb not do it justice. So much louder than expected but their is no drone when driving down the road. Absolutely Love the package.

Had mine for about 2 months. Have already replace 2 o2 sensors and as of this morning the throttle body went bad. MPG though is up to 15.8 with 35’s.

Hopefully it gets to the point they can do better like the unlocked pcm and t2 tuner, that is a reason I went with the pcm & t2 instead of this pulsar on my 2017 Rebel.

im trading my 2015 ford f150 with the 2.7l ecoboost in on a 2019 ram 1500 with standard 5.7l hemi. I can say without a doubt that the ecoboost feels more powerful than the 5.7l hemi, the dyno's here prove that. the ram offers more features, and with the motor being naturally aspirated, I hope longevity. I also like the interior on the ram.

The biggest problem I have with your results are, you gained 1200 RPM, not 50 HP. If you freeze frame that graph 1200 RPM before the redline, you have the same HP. Your HP/ TQ rises thru the RPM range, if that range stops at 4300 RPM then your HP/ TQ stops, but if it keeps going to 5500 RPM, then your HP/ TQ keeps going. So even with STOCK settings and a higher RPM limit, you'll STILL get the numbers you show with the Pulsar. Not Convinced with the Pulsar. This isn't Apples to Apples. Still good vid, through.

Pedal commander has zero gains. It only remaps your throttle body.

Got it on mine. It seems to just make the gas really soft and a lot easier to maintain therefore saving some gas. I got about 2 more mpg on mine. And I run eco 99% of the time

in the real world the turbo ford engines use more fuel to make the power to pull anything or burn rubber- you have to burn fuel. n order for those V6's to make their power they have to engage those twin turbos, thereby burning more fuel to make the torque and power needed to pull the load and not get the mileage that ford is advertising. also direct injection has not been perfected yet, so there is carbon buildup on the valves of ANY engine with direct fuel injection-any make-just do a research on the subject. when you have to do a head breakdown at 60,000 miles to clean the valves you are not saving anything. all size engines from 4 cyl on up with direct injection gasoline have problems with severe carbon buildup on the valves. that is why di is not universal.

I am getting 10 mpg in a 2019 big horn going to dealer again also 65 mph on cruise 159-170 miles per tank on a full tank ADVICE PLEASE dealers can't figure it out ... Last time in they removed and replaced bad PCM I was getting 14.7 mpg then refreshed it . Going to another dealer next week 4 th time. I like the truck but the dealers in Springfield nj, can not get it right . I'm sick of this truck Modification s MBRP exhaust they flashed trans it's thumping How do you change performance modes am I missing something????

That is why the ford EcoBoost is so fast, its 470 lbs ft launches it out of the hole hard and then acceleration tapers off as it builds mph where you start feeling the 375hp. Still need that torque to get off the line

I haven’t heard official, but you’ll probably have to get an unlocked PCM for full tuning if you want to go that route when it becomes available.

I wouldn’t put the truck past what you have on here. You don’t wanna break the drive shaft or mess up any dif gears! You could always upgrade the drive shaft and push it a little harder but be careful of difs. Just from what I’m hearing when I researched getting into the speed limitor.

Yeah, we couldn’t get accurate readings because of the speed limiter. We’ll be doing full tuning soon & heading back to the dyno.

No, we just did 5th gear because of the downshifting & speed limiter issues. There’s no way to get an accurate sample without tuning because of the speed limiter. So we did it in 5th to experiment & show the difference between stock vs the performance tune w/ the Pulsar.

I’ve played w a pulsar on a 2020 5.7. I can tell you the fun factor was pretty high. Not sure about the Pedal Commander. Might give it a test. In a perfect world, I’d get the Diablo replacement module. For now, this eBay refurb is a neat toy for the price.

amazing how much hp is soaked up in the drivetrain of the 4x4 trucks. multiple drive shafts. doing the math, on their specific truck more than 35% of the engine's power is lost through the drivetrain. the 8 speed is supposed to be much more efficient. oh well. i dont drive quad cabs and 4x4s. i like my reg cab 2wd ram trucks.

Speed Limiter cut it off at 104 MPH

Ram BEAST Projects ohh.... because you had in 5th. Gotcha. Yeah mine cuts off in 5th gear 105mph 4.4 insh RPMS. It’s really annoying! Fucking motorcycles always beet me! Mostly because of the speed governor. And question. Does your truck hang at red line from 2nt gear to 3rd gear? For like a second or 2? I think it’s with tow haul off. But, try it with tow haul on and off. That’s what gets me and why I lose to even old hard tail motorcycles. So I have to manually shift the gears! It would be much easier if it had a damn manual! Please bring back manuals!

@@welcome2myworld1.o89 I wouldn't bother with the motorcycles. A Kawasaki Ninja 500 2 cyclinder can do a 1/4 mile in 13 seconds. That's considered a slow bike. My old 600cc kawasaki 4 cylinder could do it in 10.5 :-O

It really seems ram over rates the hp and torque compared to other manufacturers, what gives ?

They give it to you at the crank, not the wheels most likely..

I have never seen a factory power rating come from the wheels. All are crank power.

if there is a 20% drivetrain loss it should be 316 hp, but 15 % is typical, so 335hp is where it should be at.

Whipple also has a kit but not for the semi/hybrid model. But either way as previously mentioned I believe you get more hp per lb of boost with procharger. Been researching both very well because I'm planning to install one. If you do decide to get it before me let me know your thoughts on it. Both kitsch run between 6-8k depending on little options here and there. Either way if you decide to install it let me know your thoughts to see which one is worth it (if any) to install on my 2020 rebel

Like your channel alot. Just bought a 2019 Ram and this is my first Ram. Have you looked at this product yet www.zautomotive.com/product/tazer-dt/ ? Also new to Amsoil by watching your videos. Was wondering why personally you choose this product? I looked for a video but didnt see one by you about this. When i google Amsoil i get mixed reviews. Is it more to each is own? Just your thoughts. Keep up the great videos.

The pedal commander is a waste of money. All it does is it opens the throttle more than the stock programming. So it makes you think the lag is reduced but in fact is only accelerating more.

Add a cold air Intake to go with the pulsar and it should help you out I’ve had a 13 Laramie a 16 big horn a 18 rebel and now a 19 Laramie I haven’t dyno any of them but I do know from other videos the cold air Intake helps with dyno results I ordered a stage 2 afe cold air Intake they are free of tax and shipping to my location afepower.com my 19 is 4x4 5.7 8 speed auto with etorque

Jesus christ get some better fuel in that thing! At the beginning of every pull you can hear it spark knocking SO BAD. That torque curve is clearly showing it too with how choppy it is
