Hi Naomi, I'm so pleased that you have found this video helpful. Stance and breathing are very basic underpinning foundations of Qigong so I'm so pleased that I have been able to share something which will hopefully enable you to gain even more benefit from your existing Qigong practice. Best wishes, Janice.
Hi Paul, Thank you so much for your wonderful comment. :-) Qigong should be accessible and easy to understand for everyone. Too many people try to make it mysterious and complicated when it should be fun and relaxed. If you have any questions about Qigong please join my free group on Facebook and I'll be happy to help you. Warmest wishes, Janice. facebook.com/groups/janicetuckercourses/
You are very welcome Carrol. There's a little more in the replay of my live Qigong lesson from a couple of weeks ago. The link is here: spacetorelax.com/replay-of-live-qigong-class-on-zoom-01-abdominal-breathing-qigong-stance/.
Thank you. i enjoy your teaching but I take issue with the chin tuck cue which is often used in the movement world. This is a cue that is greatly misunderstood like others out there. The head rolls like a ball in a dish (the C1)...its more like down and back and then up. Hope that makes sense. :)
You are very welcome. I'm teaching free classes live on Zoom every Thursday if you'd like to join. The link is here: spacetorelax.com/qigong-online-class/.
Hi Carrol, No, you keep the mouth gently closed - in a relaxed way without holding any tension, and even bring a smile to the corners of your mouth as this helps to relieve tension further. :-)
