When people flush their diapers, wet wipes, etc down the drain, it congeals in the sewers along with fat and hair; this can lead to sewage backing up and requiring divers to clear the pipes again. They call these masses of filth and waste, "Fatbergs." I propose this: a fatberg of Karens. Alternatively, I'm open to calling fatbergs Karens from now on.

Try a group of Karens at 3 in the morning ranging from tipsy to flat-out drunk to grumpily starting to sober up, while you're swamped because your managers are too cheap to properly staff the night shift (also leaving you as the de facto supervisor to deal with the inevitable complaints - without any preparation or training, of course; and technically without the authority to give discounts so you'll get in trouble no matter what you do).

*16 hour shift after another 16 hour shift(working in Sunday and sleeping in workplace included)

And the funny thing is that with the worst of them they'll invariably say something like "this is the worst customer service ever, we're never coming back! You just lost yourself a customer" then a week or two they're back pulling the same entitled shit

Liability is for damage you do to others, but you can get full coverage which would pay for damage done to you

In the US its free to use a cart in most if not all stores

I've only seen Aldi do this in the US

@@mongmanmarkyt2897 It's free to use the carts in Europe too, the shops just don't want people leaving the carts all over the place because they could get in trouble if someone hit a cart with their car. Also, it just doesn't look good to have the carts around. The coin can be retrieved, but only if you chain it back to the cart dock.

@@KCML82 That would depend on where you live and what brand of butter it was. Prices vary by area, even locally, you can find an item at one store then go to the closest sister store and you'll find different prices. Also, some brands of butter are very expensive for a 1 LB block.

@: 3 always! Just an asshole to other assholes.... I'm the 'dexter' of assholes. The only difference is I dont kill. I just make minor inconveniences. For example, I deliver food, and ppl with trailers like to block entrances to a hotel(leaving plenty of room in front of them), so i pull up in front to them, reverse close to them then do a delivery, take a bathroom break, then leave. It's the minor things in life :P

Still waiting on the Karma for our store manager and assistant manager. So far, she let her favorite worker keep his manager pay when he stepped down. So he gets paid 19 dollars while I get paid 11, I'm above him and have more experience. She does things that makes whoever is the GM takes the fall. That's why I have watched 8 mangers go in and out the door. I have been stuck at this company for 8 years too, being skipped on interviews for higher positions. Yet her favorite worker has worked only 1 year and skipped all the way to GM spot. The other manager is an asshole and did things that I could have gotten him fired for if I knew I would still be working here. He is a hypocrite and lets all the power go to his head, always ready to write someone up for insubordination over small things.

Now I'm remembering a friend who made a Neverwinter Nights module (that's a game which can be played online) which just had one room and a box or barrel in it. Whenever the player opened the container, they found an item marked "Dead Baby" (one of the stories in the Original Campaign involved retreiving a woman's very definitely living baby from her estranged former husband, so the "Baby" item already existed in-game and was simply re-named). Within a short time, there were dozens of these "Dead Baby" items littered around the room (since the container generated a new one every time it was opened) and players were hanging out in the room discussing the social, ethical and psychological implications of the situation, attempting to find some kind of deeper meaning to it all. But it was simply a joke and nothing more. When you purchase the NWN 1 game, you also get the "toolset" which allows you to create your own adventure module out of what is supplied with the game, and you get a "standalone server" which allows you to put a module online for others to connect to and play. It's available through Steam, Good Old Games or directly through the current owners, Beamdog.
