Both can be true. I'm reminded of a lawyer I knew who had a six-figure income, but was often broke. Ate out a lot, bought things on a whim, etc. Budgeting is a skill some people haven't learned.

To be fair, I type fast on a phone and it typically results in minor typos. It's usually only a single letter or a missed space such as "fats" instead of fast or "ha smore" instead of has more.

I know what you mean. Even thou that i have encountered a few lighter ones here and there but they acted more annoying than this rude. Nothing serious. If i would have come across someone like that in the video then i would have game them a piece of my mind and would just blocked them after that. Also i would probably have spread the screenshots of the specific conversation in my artist groups to protect others from high blood pressure. Or from potentially getting guilt tripped and scammed out of their hard work.

She could just be trying to desperately back track now that she realises that nobody agrees with her or she could be stuck in an abusive relationship with a husband who locks her away and confiscates her phone.

I think she's also bitter that being a mother isn't some carefree experience and she actually has to do things. Notice that A) she goes on the "You don't know how hard it is to be a mother!" spiel and B) she simultaneously blames and defends her children at one point by saying sure, they did break the iPad, but it must have been the other person's fault (once again going through the "You don't know what it's like because you're not a mother!" bit). The aggressor reminds me of someone I used to know, and my relatives and I have wondered how much of her bad attitude was a result of becoming a mother (It can't be all of it because she was abusive to me before then).

Either one of them are narcissists or both of them are. Either way, those kids need to be taken away, they’re obviously in a toxic household.

I've done that before... Although not on Instagram since I don't use that platform... And in my case it's for custom electronic stuff (usually hand-held for an idea of the size of my projects.) Watching them either have a total meltdown or backpedal super hard never gets old... Especially when they start getting backlash from their own followers. One time I had someone try to get me to make a Pokédex for them for free in the style of Ash Ketchum's one from the Pokémon Anime... Of course they tried doing the classic "pay you with exposure" offer... I respectfully turned that offer down stating that if I was willing to do projects for exposure, I would be accepting requests, which I was not. However I would still be willing to do their project for the price I had quoted (Which was fairly cheap iirc since I would basically taking the electronics out of an unused smartphone, reprogram it to boot directly into and run a custom made program on startup, remove the cameras, SIM card port and cell antenna then put it into a new custom made casing and swap out the screen for one that would fit the new casing. A fairly easy, but time consuming job for me.) They refused and started slagging me off on their public profile... So I released screenshots of the conversation with the caption "Please do not misrepresent our interaction. I will not be taking on your project. Apologies for the inconvenience." They responded publicly within 5 minutes doubling down on everything they said about me and how I'm the bad guy for wanting to get paid for doing my job. I don't reply because I refused to allow myself to lash out and went to sleep for the night. I wake up the next morning to my phone going crazy. I unlock my phone to see my mentions being flooded by the Entitled Person's followers who had tagged me in the replies to the Entitled Person, taking my side and basically saying to them "What the heck is wrong with you? OP politely told you they don't work for exposure and you decided to try and drag their name through the mud because they won't make a functional Pokédex for you for free." Entitled Person continued to insist that in fact I was the one that was being unreasonable and when their follower's called them out on it of their own accord, the entitled person went full scorched earth and started blocking and submitting false reports against their own followers for "Harassment" (I'd say at most 5% of the followers the entitled person reported had said anything that would potentially be misinterpreted as mild harassment.) Anyway, once word got out about what this Entitled Person was doing, the followers that hadn't been blocked yet started abandoning the entitled person in droves. In the space of 24 hours, the Entitled Person went from an audience around 150k to double digits and more or less zero user engagement with all the entitled person's future content. Last I checked that person's profile they were whining about getting fired from a dead-end retail job "for no reason"... They were talking shit about their employer publicly on social media... All I have to say is that the taste of an entitled person getting served with some serious Karma is one of the sweetest things I've ever tasted.

I did th same, it was Dad's favorite picture of the dog on his lap. Unfortunately, between commissioning the painting and receiving it, the dog died (she was old, reason I ordered the painting). Dad opened the box, looked at it and said "I love it, but I'm not ready to hang it up." It still sits in the box in his spare bedroom.

Aw bless you all for commissioning such lovely paintings for your loved ones! It isn’t quite the same, but my sibs booked a professional photo session for me and my parents 2018! They had a 3 yr old and a new baby and wanted family portraits for us to print for the walls. I had mentioned I wanted a nice pic with the kids, but never expected that! But it was an extremely thoughtful gift idea for us all 😍

A choosing beggar who, even when down on his luck, risked not getting anything to get something more satisfying, longer-lasting, and healthier than a fast food burger. I would have done exactly what that OP did, since it's clear that with food on the line, he was willing to risk getting fully turned away...That takes a lot of guts. The good kind in this case.

Exactly. Crying over text, claiming that you're "feeling bad because we lied to you"is worthless, precisely because the previous lie was also through text, so what stops this one from being a lie? A sincere person, with real money problems and a desire to close this fairly would have to call directly to say that, and to arrange a meetup for her to beg directly. Any less would still be taking advantage of the friend. If even after that OP wants them to pay, that is in her right because she needs money too, so arrange payment plans and stick to it.

More than a few people I've met that have money, are very good at getting others to give or do things for them for FREE!!!

Yes, It really makes me sad that some ppl think that paying others in exposure is ok. I mean, who will actually subscribe to Person X's channel just because Person Y gave them a shoutout? It is more than obvious that the whole "paying in exposure" thing is just a fucked up excuse to get free stuff
