Excellent but I am surprised you overlooked a couple of documents to further your argument, i.e.: the differing accounts of the first vision which supports your arguments regarding his changing views of the Godhead, and the Nancy Rigdon Happiness Letter which supports your arguments about his doctrinal change regarding his acceptance of David's/Solomon's "plurality" of women.

Why even start a religion to begin with if you can just contradict previous declarations at will? Might as well not have any written documents making any declarations if those can simply be over turned at will. Joseph Smith set up creeds himself and yet hated everyone else's. It proves that yet again religion is man's attempt to define God and not God's attempt to define the divine. So Joseph wanted the freedom to contradict himself, but no one else was allowed to contradict him. Sounds Narcissistic. Makes perfect sense how Joseph could go back and edit former revelations with out blinking an eye, because he was only changing his own words, not God's. So my new religion is to prove there is no such thing as solid ground. No sure foundation to depend on. Build a house on sand so that you can shift it around. Loved this episode. Thank you
