"Sometimes war" That must be one of the most sarcastic comments ever.

This had more to do with the start of the Iraq War than with 9/11. In Germany the majority was against this war and our government was in conflict with Bush and Rumsfeld because of it. At that time, relations between our two countries were very bad because we were not part of Bush's coalition of the willing.

I looooove the way they use sarcasm to get across their message, the upbeat happy tone of such a negative message is everything. While this is not a song I usually tend to go for when I'm playing Rammstein, it does make me proud of them when I hear it because it truly is powerful. Also, damn were they sexy ;D

Nice. Finally! There's a making of of the official Video, if you fancy it. The video is about American colonialism respectively how the US is forcing other countries to follow its orders. Someting with war. The song was written, when Iraq was innocently invaded by the USA because Iraq was allegedly responsible for the attacks. Which was a blatant lie, which the American government later admitted to and which cost many Iraqi people their lives. As an added bonus, the entire Middle East was thrown into chaos and a certain terrorist group was able to grow as a result. Rammstein was touring the US at the time of 9/11 and rapidly felt very uneasy, how the mood in the US population became very awkward and hostile. The 'fake' moon landing is a pun on how fake/exaggerated the picture America is representing to the world is, respectively what kind of a picture Hollywood draws. Of course, everybody is free to interprete into it, what they please. Keep them Rammstein reactions coming. Looking forward to them. With love from Germany ❤🤘🏻
