@@lexus99cl zero issues. I hope you read all this, so lets go. This is my 3rd Rover Sport since 2015. I'm not kidding when I tell you that the only issue I had with my first Rover Sport, a 2010, was a dead battery in the three and a half years I owned it. I too was worried about the possibility of maintenance issues but I did my homework and found one that had a good maintenance history and I bought it. It had 99,000 miles on it and, like I said, all I had was a dead battery while I owned it. I took it from Louisiana to Florida three times, and had no issues. I kept it till 114,000 miles and traded it for a 2014, V6 Supercharged Rover Sport, which I bought with 109,000 miles, and traded it for my current 2014, V8 Supercharged Rover Sport with the Dynamic package. It's a beast. And I got it with 97,000 miles on it. I've never had a single maintenance issue with my Rovers. I can only tell you how I buy vehicles. My way doesn't work for scared people though. I find vehicles I'm interested in that have verifiable maintenance history's and clean car faxes. I travel to where the vehicle is and do my test drive. If I'm satisfied then I buy. I never ever buy warranties, but I ALWAYS immediately take my new vehicle to the dealer and get a new front-to-back, top-to-bottom service, and if there is something wrong I get it fixed, and I get the dealer to fix any open factory recalls. My current Rover was only found to need rear brakes. That's it. Like I said, it had 97,000 miles when I bought it, and the dealer found no leaks, drips, or any issues at all. There may be people who have had issues with their Rovers, but I never have. Once they're properly serviced initially, they only require service once a year. So I say, if you want one, do your research, find one you like, get it, then get that baby serviced, and enjoy. I'm on the hunt for an SVR now. Good luck to you.

You're so correct. I bought a used 2014 V6 Rover Sport. It originally cost the first owner $70,000. I paid $25,000. I traded it for a 2014 V8 with the Dynamic package. The original owner paid $110,000. I paid $34,000. The difference between what comes with a basic $70,000 Rover Sport, versus a $110,000 Rover Sport is amazing. Both are great vehicles, but the V8 version is so much more satisfying to drive.

@carycoller3140
@carycoller3140 3 года назад
@@SuperAsianDude1 I'll tell you about all three of my Rover Sport purchases. In 2015 I bought a one owner 2010 Rover Sport for $21,000 with 98,000 miles. I owned it until 2018 and the only problem I had was a dead battery - that's it. I traded it with 112,000 miles and bought a one owner 2014 Rover Sport with the Supercharged V6 that had 109,000 miles on it for $27,000 (the original owner bought it new and traded back at the same dealership I bought it from). I loved the vehicle but I hated the V6 engine so six months later I traded it for my current Rover Sport with the Supercharged 510HP V8. When I got this Rover it had 97,000 miles on it and was $34,000. I got a decent trade so I financed $27,000. So far I've had not a single problem. All of my Rovers have been one owner with verifiable maintenance historys. Once I buy them I immediately take them to a Rover dealer and do a completely new service and do a check for open recalls. That way my Rivers are new and fresh to me. My current Rover had one open recall for a door latch check, needed new rear brakes, and I elected to buy an additional remote since it came with only one remote. That service, brakes, the remote, labor and taxes all cost $1,300. And again I've had not a single problem or issue. They only require service annually. I just did my annual last month and it was $760 for a complete inspection, oil and oil filter, cabin filters and tire rotation. I'm a fan of Rover Sports but they must be bought carefully when used and the annuals must be kept up. I'm searching for an SVR now.

It becomes quite a joke when you drive a premium piece of automotive and 30k with no issues is suddenly a thing of celebration and excitement. Go past 50k and that's when RR becomes a wallet eater and the reason why dealers love out of warranty work.

If you see a Land Rover on the road, it is either going to the shop for repairs or coming back.

Hey Evan, thank you for watching! This car is equipped with a Panoramic sunroof. In this video if you watched the whole review I mentioned that the only costs for this car was the Oil change and small things done to the car which I showed invoices for. That’s all the we’ve spent to maintain and upkeep the car besides the obvious gas and car washes. Hope this helped solve your confusion!

@@manjot2727 I've taken these motors apart and have seen the block with thine own eyes, and indeed just three cylinders on each bank.
