For younger dudes who didn't grow up with in the 80s and 90s, it's cool that you allow yourselves to get in to the movies and suspend disbelief without bias towards a style and level of special effects dated before what you're likely accustomed to. Keep watching the films. They go all over the place. Then react to the show.

I honestly prefer older horror movies, and movies in general. The modern day special effects make everything so less scary. I think the fact that some old horror had their own score really helped intensify scares.

This is EXACTLY why I've started watching all their vids, like it's awesome seeing people my age react to the movies my dad and uncles etc showed me growing up and their not dismissive of them because of bad CGI or other things like that. Most people our age are absolute worst cunts about older things for the most dumb reasons

Child's play 2 was considered one of the best ones out of the series by fans, and a heads up for the next movies starting from the 3rd-5th, they go more to comedic direction (thankfully they go back to full horror on the 6th)

This is probably my favorite out of all the movies. My favorite line comes when he is burying the other doll. "Eat dirt Tommy" 🤣Makes me laugh every time. Brad Dourif is what makes the series. His voice over work is incredible. They said there were times in the booth when he would be screaming so hard that he would literally pass out. He put 110% into the character and I applaud him for that. Btw, you may already know but he was also the one who played Worm tongue in Lord of the Rings.

Little trivia: According to Don Mancini, the Tommy doll was a little nod to Tom Holland, the director of the original. And yes, it really goes to show. It’s amazing that Brad has a career for decades with just his voice alone.

I liked that we stayed with the same characters too. I love Andy! I liked the addition of Kyle too. I used to know a girl who reminded me of her. She scared the *beep* out of me at first, but we ended up close. One of those people who'd run into burning buildings for you etc 👌I hope we continue continuing with these people and get some resolution with the mom.

Andy is underrated as a “final girl” (yes I know he’s not a girl, I’m just using the term because he fits the definition in every other way besides his gender). He deserves the recognition Tommy Jarvis gets. If anything, I think he’s more impressive than a lot of final characters because of his age. We never saw Andy as an adult in the series until 2013, his ages in the movies were 6-16.

yeah you guys should watch at least the next two and then after it gets ridiculous and its funny how you said you wouldn't be surprised if it cuts to middle credits and chucky is up cause originally there was a scene during the end credits where a new doll is created and in the machine you see the face smiling implying that he is alive again but the scene was scrapped but it exist online as one of the deleted scenes!

I was had a love hate relationship with third film mostly because they replaced Alex Vincent with another actor. It was hard to accept someone else in the role after becoming attached to Alex. Oh and you guys have to watch Leprechaun from 1993 and its sequels. Another great horror film franchise with comedy elements from the main antagonist.

By the end of the movie, his teeth actually did look like that because he was becoming more flesh and blood as a doll. This one is much more stabby because you already know who and what Chucky is. Definitely keep going with this series of movies and then do the new Series also.

Child's Play was the first horror movie I ever saw. I was 7, and I was fascinated. I remember my mother being upset with my sisters for letting me watch it. I pleaded with my mother to keep letting me watch horror movies. She ended up seeing that I wasn't bothered by it. Thankfully, I was allowed to grow up on the genre.

I love how you two were constantly asking each other questions in the beginning even though you both were watching for the first time! LOL Your reaction was terrific and hilarious. So many times James, you were so hilariously DONE with Jon Gruden, er, I mean Chucky! I was pretty angry when I saw this in the theatres because I felt so bad for Andy and Chucky is just such a b&stard. hehe I have grown to really love this one, though the first will always be my fave. But some of 2 is actually more fun than the original. I don't know if you will watch 3, but Andy does return (albeit as a different actor) and is older. It is kind of mediocre because some of the characters are crappy, but there is a new little boy also in it. Chucky is just out of control!

Like them all and mainly watch bride and seed ones for chucky, Tiffany and kid. The random electricity killing man is a bit odd but like the opening credit sequence when crane picks him up melted and blood mixes in vat. Cult and curse of Chucky ones looked great and seeing all different chucks in curse was fun to watch. Also seeing Andy kept chucky or one of the dolls locked In his house. Watching the end I mistaken believ it’s the third with blood swirling in vat at the beginning.

A couple things. First, the opening credit sequence where his blood mixes in the vat is the third movie, not this one. Also, the movie with multiple dolls is Cult of Chucky, not Curse, which is the first in that semi-reboot. Additionally, Andy keeping Chucky's head is from Cult, and it's the original Chucky, which is to say, the one created in Child's Play 3 (which was torn to shreds in the climax of that film, and then Tiffany stitched it back together, giving him a very iconic look. In Curse of Chucky, his prosthetic makeup is removed, revealing the stitched design and confirming that it takes place chronologically after Bride of Chucky.)

You guys are gonna love the TV show, once you get there! You’ll enjoy the other films too, but 3 is kinda not a super favorite. Bride of Chucky is seriously my favorite. Seed is pretty good, but far more comedy than horror, so it gets a lot of hate. The final 2 films set up for the show, so you’ll definitely need those. You’ll probably like them, though. Keep up the good work!

oh there were kid dolls that pee...it's not actual pee it's water obviously...but yeah...those were a thing XD problem with chucky is although he is a doll he has the strength and speed of a grown man. he is just as dangerous as he ever was when he was a serial killer...sometimes more so. if you wonder how there is a third film...l can give you a hint...blowing up chucky was a mistake.

Recommend movies Halloween H2O The Boy if you want more doll horror and haven't seen it. The classic Killer Klowns from Outer space Fun facts: the original movie, the animators had no help to go on for how to build a doll. They basically tried this, failed with that then created heads for some shots full bodies for others and made a suit for a little person to wear. With this movie they made so many dolls to do specific scenes. This one swings it's legs, this one bites, etc. And the walking shots that used to have a person were a full body doll with hordes of cords coming from underneath the feet. Chucky is very noisy 😁. I think the third one has a lot of charm, my only complaint is the child actor couldn't act. But it's a good watch. Also, Mark Hamill voiced Chucky in the 2019. It sucked of course, no horror franchise from back when holds proper now. But Mark still did a sick job and creepily sung the end theme.

when my niece was born with bright red/ginger hair...i knew from that day on that Halloween is going to be awesome as soon as she was able to walk....she was chucky for Halloween 🤣 these movies are just pure classic and first of their kind...the tv show is good too if you ever wanted to review it

As an adult - literally about 30 years older than I was - it just sucked knowing Andy was actually taken away from his mother. She backed up her son's case, and they put her in a mental ward, while Andy got a chance at life in a foster environment. What about the detective and his partner? I bet they told each other not to say a word, or they would be deemed crazy. We never heard anything about them... First movie to me - the best, the scariest. From the plot, puppeteers, soundtrack, and setting. This sequel - my favorite to say I have seen in theaters. Almost as good as the first. The fact that they used the same kid to play Andy meant a lot to me back then.

The best sequel in the Chucky franchise! 2 years after the events of the first film, Andy Barclay, our hero, is in foster care while his mother is in a psychiatric hospital undergoing treatment. He wants to have a normal life, but the plastic psychopath, who made his life a living hell, has returned to get revenge on Andy and anyone else who gets in his way.

Second favourite chucky movie among the franchise. The first Child's Play will always be my favourite and the best in my opinion. That movie was just perfect in terms of storyline, concept, acting and effects considering the year it was made.

i hope you do the entire franchise! the next film is considered by some the worst cause it's the most samey and boring. the team was forced to rush a lot to try and make more money but bride and seed are my favorite era, some consider the worst, but i really love seeing the stories from the point of view of Chucky, they are as wacky as the life of a living murderous voodoo doll would be and a lot of fun. they go back to more suspense on Curse of Chucky and the series works with the best of all worlds

Watch the entire series! Please continue. If you want to leave out Seed of Chucky though, no one will hate you for it. Also, there is a new series on PEACOCK. "CHUCKY. Another deleted scene was when chucky got on too the school bus he had snuck out from the basement window next to the driveway. The movie honestly would have made alot more sense if they had added all the deleted scene

Phil was more abusive somewhat in the novelization, as for Chucky well, he fantasizes about strangling a dog. Which is morbid but again, its Chucky he does not give a fuck. Can’t wait for the rest of the movies! :) Recently found your channel through the first childs play, enjoyed it! Hoping to see more Chucky!

Do watch the entire series, except for Seed! No need to see that one tbh, it's pretty awful and the subsequent movies largely ignore it anyway. Don´t forget the TV show which is actually pretty good.
